Some BN MP out there is done for. Kiss your seat goodbye.
The Father of Malaysian Bloggers has entered the ring.
I am beginning to see a glimmer of hope at the end of what once seemed a hopeless tunnel.
Like Rocky, I too will walk with you.

Hello Haris,
With due respect to your enthusiasm, Jeff is not a YB, not yet and not until he won either a parlimentary or state seat in the next GE. Until then he is Saudara Jeff Ooi. Sorry to be a party-pooper but we are in reality (tv) era
Sorry, Moses, but I was merely sharing what the fortune teller at Puduraya predicted

I have the greatest respect for this man. He encouraged me to fight the good fight for our Vista Komanwel residents. Unfortunately, like Haris experience, when it was time to initiate the class action suit, only one was keen.
He will make a good “Yang Berkhidmat” because he has a cool head on those strong shoulders with a good heart to steer him. May you sail in the sea of ambition and anchor at the harbor of success.

Jeff Ooi has taken ‘Dare to dream’ one notch higher. We’re behind you.

Well Haris, I have walked since 2004 and have no regrets joining DAP. Internal problems? Normal in every organisation (UMNO is worst anyway). Be that as it may, it gets better everyday. At least for now, there is a rim of hope. Good for thinkers like Jeff joining the Party. And for you and Rocky, DAP welcome the both of you too.

Hi Harris,
I’ve been busy commenting on a number of blogs, it all boils down to DAP could do with the likes of you and Rocky, Malik would be a bonus, should this gang of four ever walks down that aislke, a number of BN MP’s, especially the likes of “BUNG-SAI” are in for a poo poo day.
*Bung-sai, hokkien, the act of defecating.

I am now wondering if that last line is a not-too-subtle hint at who the next prominent people to join the DAP will be. Maybe I’m thinking too much.
John, maybe you are thinking too much. Then again, maybe you are not. Time will tell

Once again we are indebted to Jeff Ooi for showing the way. Among bloggers there are a few like Jeff and Haris whose written words express what they are already doing on the ground. The majority of us are in danger of functioning as armchair critics, calling the shots only along the sidelines where it is safe. To turun padang is to enter the forbidden vocation, risking almost everything. There is only so much our mere words can achieve. With general elections looming, more of us must become willing to atleast take sides and assist those who will be waging their campaigns for a more just Malaysia. Damian Yeo is right- the powers that be only want Malaysians to focus on the internal problems of the opposition parties. The truth is that real progress is being made and the prospects for better results are in fact quite good. It was DL Moody who, when asked by someone which was the perfect church for him to join, said: “Friend, if indeed there is such a perfect church, it would become imperfect the moment you join it.”

Hi Haris,
Even after Jeff is voted by the people to be an MP, let’s not call him YB. That would only put him at the same level with the existing YBs (Yang Bodohs).
Suggest we stick with Saudara Jeff. Got a nice ring to it. After all, MPs are servants of the people. They are respected because of their work (perjuangan), NOT their position.
Let us always maintain that for a better Malaysia for all Malaysians.
Navigator,
When Jeff gets into Parliament, in my books he is Yang Berkhidmat and not Yang Berhormat. To me that is how I have always regarded MPs like Mr. Lim Kit Siang, one of the few MPs who live up to their role. We, the rakyat, who gave the MPs the mandate are the Yang Berhormat.

You go Jeff. I know you have a brain, can make good judgements and decisions, is not racist, selfless, will not discriminate based on gender, race or religion and will never justify your follies as struggling for “agama, bangsa and negara” .
I would vote for you if you were in my constituency.
If only there were men like Jeff in BN.
Najib, Bodoh Bodoh Bodoh Nazri, kerismudin, one eyed jasin, and foul moouth Kinabatangan, you can learn a lot from this man.

I was at the forum in solidarity with Nat the other day and I thought Jeff and you were awesome. I deeply believe in your struggle and the concept on one Bangsa Malaysia without discrimination and where wealth is equally distributed. Although born a Chinese, I truly would like to see the hard-core poor Malays being assisted and also the hard-core poor of all the other races. Count me in, I will walk with anyone willing to fight for a better Malaysia.
Bro,
There is no ‘although born a Chinese…’. You are Bangsa Malaysia of Chinese origin.
Proud of you, my friend.

Haris – “John, maybe you are thinking too much. Then again, maybe you are not. Time will tell” ?
Don’t fikir-fikir too long lah. It would be magnificent if you, AND ROCKY, both join in the fight to get more BN MPs out there to kiss their seats goodbay.
Malaysia needs people of your calibre to lead the nation.
Jeff and Tony Pua may be offering some “glimmer of hope at the end of what once seemed a hopeless tunnel”. It has indeed been a very dark and gloomy tunnel.
Perhaps you, Rocky, and not forgetting Malik, can help to make the future more bright?
Thanks for what appears to be a vote of confidence.

It has indeed been a long and winding road, but alas, I can see that the Ray of Hope is bursting thru’ the clouds. Though I may be in my sixties, living each day as a bonus, but i know the future “children of Negara Ku” will be able to experience and love the “fruits of sacrifice” from all our sincere and truthful “Anak Malaysia”……my salute to the likes of Jeff, Haris, Rocky. YM RPK and many others…my apologies for not being able to name all.
Peace to all.

We should address all our YB as Yang Berkhidmat from now to let them know that they are serving us. Change all our mailing etc to Yang Berkhidmat to remind them forever. We can do this from now.

Your article and comments really make my heart warm. The politic of this country need to overhaul, it should not base on race or religion. Malaysia is belongs to all of us, not just the bumiputra.
We are fortunate to have Malaysia as our home and yet many people migrating elsewhere. Why? Something must be seriously gone wrong. What is so proud to have famous Malaysian in other countries. Think about it.
