Continuing support for the petition to the Agong
October 26, 2007
People are still sending in e-mails to sign up in support of the petition to His Majesty to restore the judiciary to the rakyat.
To make the petition more accessible at any time, it has now been placed permanently as a page on this blog.
My office will continue to collate the signatures as they come in and, if the numbers are significant enough, I will arrange to have the same delivered to the office of His Majesty.
To read the petition and send your e-mail to lend your support to the same, go to the link underĀ Pages entitled ‘Petition to the Agong to restore the judiciary to the rakyat’.

Haris,
I am wondering about possibility of pen and paper signature drive at the places of where we are (work place, neighborhood, places of worship). The collected signatures will be scanned and email to you and the dead-tree edition be snail mail to you.
CC,
Yes, this is very do-able. Just make sure that a copy of the petition is on hand so that people are not simply blindly signing.
Could you please start the ball rolling?

I would like to adress to Lawrence Ding of Pizza Hut. I read all the replies with no respect to Pizza Hut. Once i was at the Pizza Hut Outlet at The Mall KL,opposite Seri Pan Pacific. I was on the line to pat up the bills. Infront of me were few Arab men making noise to the counter clerk oblecting the 5% Govt Tax imposed on them. They claimed they were not Malaysians and that tax shouldnt be imposed on them and the stupid deduct the 5% tax. I made a complaint to the counter clerk but it was turned down. There was a clear disrimination by Pizza Hut and Lawrence Ding is teling blatant lies here. Tq.
