No arrest, just a huge landslide

All yesterday, friends were sms-ing to find out if I was ok.
I was supposed to be part of the BERSIH team to Parliament yesterday to hand in the memorandum. Was also supposed to speak at the ‘Malaysia, after Hindraf’ forum last night. Didn’t make it to either.
Many thought that I, too, had been arrested.
Truth is I left home in Pahang yesterday morning to head for KL to join the BERSIH delegation.
Didn’t get very far, though.
Landslide closed off the entire access road.
Was well past sunset that a makeshift road was cut through the mess.
By then, didn’t think I would be able to contribute constructively at the forum, even if I could make it on time.
