Yes, he dropped the AP Queen, JJ, Azmi, Radzi, Tengku Adnan Mansor and Fong Chan Onn.

Not enough!

Racist Kerismuddin still in charge of overseeing what our kids are taught in school?

And we still have to put up with Bodoh! Bodoh! Bodoh!

Why Mike Tyson? And in charge of a ministry with so much potential for abuse, at that!

Why Rais in foreign affairs? Why not Home and Internal Security? You gave this to Hamid?

I’m afraid Zaid Ibrahim in charge of legal affairs and reforms in the judiciary just isn’t enough to persuade me that Sleepy Head had finally woken up!

In my books, you’ve lost it, old boy!

Where’s that petition?

Time to sign up!

  1. Paul Warren Says:

UMNO chappie I was talking to just now thought this is a good cabinet….Although he too seemed quizzical about Kerismuddin still looking after our kids, (well at least mine are safely out of reach of this useful idiot).

  2. fenway Says:

Either Pak Lah had made some side deals to enrich the Taib dynasty OR Taib is too chicken to fight Pak Lah.

To me personally, this line up is a DIRECT INSULT TO Sarawakians who had put Pak Lah that edged win.

Take 30 Sarawak seats away from Pak Lah, he has nothing to line up in this cabinet.

  3. fenway Says:

    correction: 31 seats.

  4. walski69 Says:

Bro… apart from Kerishamuddin and Mat Tyson (why? Why? WHY?), IMHO it’s really not that bad a line up. It’s early days yet, however, and I would reserve most of my judgement - for now.

  5. malaysian Says:

One conclusion. We had better change to new govt in GE13 before we are DOOMED.

  6. Ahmad Navi Abdullah Says:

Despite the poor choice he had to pick from, Pak Lah would have still done better without Muhammad Muhammad Taib, Nazri Aziz (Loud mouthed) and Noh Omar as ministers. Kerismuddin might have fitted in well in some not so important position. He doesn’t have enough to handle education. Hope the lot of them can come to grip with reallity.

The PAS_PKR_DAP coalition has better choice of candidates.

  8. foongsteven Says:

well… I’m keeping my comments to myself until they have finished with assets declaration and then the PM says Mohd Taib is fit to be minister. One final chance from me.

  9. manjit finland Says:

OK everybody is a critic , so am I, well I am playing the DEVIL’S ADVOCATE HERE NOW , what would you’ll have wished (other than total removal of bn) but what I mean is who would you have preferred in what capacity, I know they are scrapping the barrel with the exception of Zaid ibrahim (wasn’t he one of the article 11 speakers at pj)lets see what the people would have preferred, balls in your court harris.

  10. yh Says:

guess for the taib fella, overseas deposits will not be counted as part of his personal assets.
haris, why get upset? let him have his way for just another 5 years. if they screw up big time, then all the more it enhances the chance of the second big wave. patience is the word and meantime, the PKR-DAP-PAS coalition has to deliver.

  11. RAJ RAMAN Says:

THE BEST THING HAPPEN AGAIN TO OUR FELLOWS MALAYSIAN.OUR BIG EAR PM KEEP UP ITS BLUNDERED.BE HAPPY.LETS THE GOVERMENT IN WAITING UTILISED THEIR WEAKNESS AND RULE OUR NATION AS ONE.THE MORE BLUNDERED HE MAKE,WE HAVE BETTER CHANCE TO BE UNITED AND KICK OUT ALL THE KRISMUDDIN IN OUR COUNTRY.OUR BELOVED PM ALWAYS SAYS HE IS PM FOR ALL RACES BUT SO FAR NOTHING HOLDS WATER LIKE THE YAM TREE.MY DREAM AND HOPE THE NEXT GOVERMENT IN WAITING WILL HONOUR OUR DREAM AS MALAYSIAN.THANKS.RAJ RAMAN.RACE;MALAYSIAN

  12. Free Malaysia Says:

That idiot Nazri is still there!

I have already signed that petition.

  13. Jimmy Says:

Now that the BN has revealed their chess pieces, I wonder what will Barisan Rakyat’s shadow cabinet line-up be.

It will be an interesting “satu-lawan-satu”. Who is taking on Nazri?

Is RTM going to telecast this? :D

  14. myop101 Says:

actually, i am not surprised by his selection. luckily i invest zero hope in big ears making changes.

  15. HKengmacao Says:

Just puzzled why the following names still in the cabinet.

    Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz
    Datuk Johari Baharom
    Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein

Perhaps PM still not fully woken-up yet after 12th GE.

  16. malayamuda Says:

one of the reasons I voted opposition is because

1.I remember Kerismuddin holding the Keris and shouting racist slogans

2.Johari Baharum said ” the election is around the corner , show ur dissatisfaction thru the ballot box ” when Hindraf kids wanted to give flowers to the Prime Minister.

3.Nazri - he’s just a moron who says the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my life , is he a product of MARA or FELDA ?

  17. sifu Says:

    My view:

    The - points:

    1. Mike Tyson
    2. Nazri
    3. Kerismuddin
    4. Noh Mohammad
    5. finally not that many representatives from East Malaysia
    6. not many women representatives

    The may be + points:
    1. No more AP Queen
    2. The inclusion of Shahrir Samad and Zaid Ibrahim
    3. No son in law
    4. Declaration of assets

One question though. According to the constitution, can the ruling party includes Ministers coming from the opposition party? Because in some countries this has been done. In France, for example, the President Sarkozy invited some politicians from the opposition to join the cabinet. In my opinion, this has a few consequences: getting the best person to do the job regardless of his political ideology, creating frictions among members of the opposition parties as some of them may not agree that their members work together with the ruling party, etc.

  18. Sadia Says:

    Explosive

All the new appointed ministers are anti-blogs.

    Just read howsy’s blog

Will The New GE12 Cabinet Line-up Be Blogger-Friendly?

  19. Doitnow Says:

DISAPPOINTING!!!! this is clearly a pathetic line up. Except for bringing in Zaid Ibrahim, the rest are just props. Retaining the old walking wounded, ie the likes of Nazri, Rais, english illiterate Mohd, azalina, syed hamid, nor mohd yakop, zahid can only mean one thing for BAD AWI… self preservation. This is not a cabinet to serve the nation and in response to the voice of the people so clearly shown in the ballot box. This cabinet line up is to perpetuate BAD AWI. where are the big ears, where is moral conviction for change, where is the commitment to the people…. neh…all BUNKUM!!

  20. Rastaman.JB. Says:

    Dear Haris,

Syed Hamid has been conveniently shifted as a pre emptive move…..we gonna lose d Pulau Batu Putih come judgement day !

Noraini Ahmad……the bimbo who overuses the term “focus” to take on labor issues ? Wonder how her focus will be on foreign workers !!!!!

Ahmad Shabery….the only shinning light from UMNO would be a better choice for foreign affairs.

Nazri the hound dog….good to have you…I want to see you face the 82 barreled arsenal in d dewan rakyaat!
Your arse is going to bleed and come prepared with pampers cause you don’t have Bad-rude-din,Rafidah a/p Aziz or One eyed MP to defend you.

Ahmad Zahidi…..a political chameleon….spineless guy who can keep good company with the man with 2 Muhds (in his name)

Ng Yen Yen is soaring very high and in her pursuit she has blacked out all other potential MCA women.

Wee Ka Siong -great choice…a man who is truly a grassroots guy and has connected well with the folks following his “on the spot” assistance for the flood victims of Johor.A potential for MCA presidentship.

JJ - please stop over at my place….I’ve an extra ticket for you……to visit the moon as a space participant.

  21. Pegasus Says:

Badawi days are numbered. He should go for the sake of the country and the people,he is not a leader but a follower. He is certainly not the same league as Dr.Mahathir.The cabinet chosen does not represent a strong ,intellectual personality. These people like Nazri,Muhammad,Hishamuddin,Rais are not individuals who can lead.Badawi could face the actual truth when UMNO holds its election. The man who lead BN to the most devastating defeat should simply step down as he is weak and incapable in making wise decision on the spot.

  22. Navin Says:

GET RID OF KERISMUDDIN NOW NOW NOW EVEN BEFORE HE STARTS WORK IF ANY?

  23. Noor Aza Othman Says:

I feel like vomiting! That despicable Muhammad Taib is elected as a Minister despite of the corruption scandal which strangely was closed - maybe the Opposition can demand for this case to be reopened again. And that most useless female there is Shahrizat appointed an adviser to the PM! Her salary of course paid with rakyat’s money! Please Opposition -fight on this issue! Plus, all the non-Malays/Muslims partners of Umno seem to be given only insignificant Ministerial portfolio posts. Why don’t they realize they are being played around like a sepaktakraw ball by Umno! They have really betrayed their communities’ who support them blindly! Time for revolt and switch to the Opposition; which I hope they would someday!

  24. shar101 Says:

Dang! Ole Big Ears? That’s way too close for O.B.E.’s comfort, bro.
    ————————————————————————————————————–
AAB’s cabinet line-up doesn’t look promising in terms of real change for the nation despite the inclusion of ZA and SS. Guess this OBE PM is still sticking band-aids to his tattered administration.

Will it survive another 3-4 months in the run-up to the UMNO GA? It may be early days yet for cabinet appraisal (i.e. the usual 100 days apply) but there’s a sinking feeling that it’s simply far too late for AAB himself in being judged by his own flock.

Meanwhile, where’s that Rembau boy wonder? Anybody know where he’s hiding?

  25. trashed Says:

What would be the role for Amirsham, the former CEO of Maybank ? Nor Mohd Yakcop is still running the Finance Ministry, so is Amirsham the “management scorecard keeper” of all the rest ?

If Amirsham expects the rest of the cohorts to be “professional” as in Maybank days, he will have a rude awakening. And if he quits at some point in time, you will know that all is not well within.

I can’t imagine him to have political ambitions but since he is retired from Maybank, maybe he does ?

  26. tuah yong Says:

Oh my!! Please pray to Almighty that with the inclusion of “Kerismuddin” and the likes of other “Hang Tuahs” like Nazri, Zahid (S46 and Tekala scandal),Noh Omar,”Mike Tyson” (sifu to Khir Toyol), and the gay Azalina, Nor the forex king will see the downfall of other non amno colleagus. They are full of stains and antics with their arrogant rascist stance in words and actions. They don’t know the words of coexistence and cooperation except to enrich themselves.
Pak Tidor/Najis should have dropped them long ago!!
By the way I hope the new Barang Naik government can “bare all” Petronas account before hastily jacking up fuel prices so as not to cause “chain effect” to all “barang naik” which was the root cause for BN’s misfortune in PRU12.

  27. tuah yong Says:

Pak Tidor/Najis have to be included in asset/s declarations and I wonder to whom??

Another point: who is going to check on their ministers “under declared” assets and “hidden” treasures??

  28. Mrs Loh Bin Choon Says:

Who would have thought that Badawi could have been so thick as to not been able to decipher the mnood of the people and the warning given by them. He even surprised us with the inclusion of the world famous money in the luggage man [who then further surprised us coz he spoke English in a nationwide tele interview. His english tutor must have been so proud of him!!!] in his cabinet. Nazri and Raiz Yatim are bad choices as well - didnt anyone in UMNO pointed anything to the PM at all or did UMNO thought this is all a joke? I reckon he will be joining his old time cabinet buddy Uncle Sam soon…… However proud I am of the Malaysian for making this strong statement am not happy that Anuar have been appointed the de facto PM. He is just like the rest of the old guards - just as corrupt, just as dirty and just as annoying……. So I guess the lies will continue, the agenda expanded and the people just as disillusioned - at least I am as I cant speak for others….. And oh, just a little gossip to share ( Moderator’s note : gossip item deleted. Tak payah gossip, lah ) …… Cant pull the rein in your own family eh? Too busy to clean other people’s house kan? The effect of too much Islam Hadhari or is it the lack of it? I dont know….. Only in Malaysia - Malaysia Boleh !!!!!!!!
