  1. AK Says:

    Dear Haris,

Freedom of belief is one of the fundamental rights of mankind.Such ruthlessness and high handedness in Sky Kingdom’s demolition had tainted the good name of Islam and Malaysia.

I salute you for your courage and dedication to uphold
Article 11 of the Federal Constitution.

  2. Maverick Says:

The government with their side kicks MCA, MIC and other
parties who sold their race and religion to become famous will go down in history as ” Fools “. They had a leash around their necks so that the UMNO fellows can tag them along to have ridiculous decisions amended in the name of democracy. Act now stop further ammendments to the constituition and let it remain enshrined as it is and was…………

  3. I have 3 pressing questions:

    Michael,

    my 2 sen

    1) Why is there a “War” between Shiite’s and Suni’s?

Because they will not rest with the assurance from God that He will settle those matters on which they differ.

There’s also far too many other numerous Muslim Sects to be comprehensively named.

Why call them ‘Muslim’ when God said do not break up into sects?

    2) If UMNo is as Holy as they Publically claim to be, Why are all UMNO Ministers linked with Corruption?

Because they are not as holy as they publicly claim

    3) When will these Devil-inspired Ministers be punished?

    Here and the hereafter

NOTE: To question 3, if anyone answers “..In Heaven..”, then you are indirectly advocating the abolishment of The Courts of Law.

  4. malayamuda Says:

all constitution amendments after 1981 should be re studied and disbanded if it goes against the Original Malayan consitution.

Dear Ol Tunku was very pissed with Dr Mahathir for showing disrespect to all the insitutions left behind by the British which includes the Constitution !!

  6. A true Malaysian Says:

Haris, you are indeed a true Malaysian or Bangsa Malaysia to me.

While a lot of us have no problem to address ourselves as Malaysian or Bangsa Malaysia, I feel that not many Malays are willing to do so. This is clearly evidents from recent gathering of Malay NGOs and intellectuals.

Perhaps, if Pakatan Rakyat comes to power at Federal level, a law can be passed to make it illegal to form a race based political party. This may pose problems to PAS, but I believe PAS is willing to accept such idea ultimately. After 50 years of merdeka and yet race and religion issues are still so common. It is sort of disgrace to me.

  7. BaronV Says:

The problem lies with the fact that the government and the majority of malaysians do not understand or recognise the right of individuals to faith or beliefs (or the lack of it)
Theres this perception that all faith is linked to religion vis a vis Organised Religion. There are only “officialy recognised” religions ie: Buddism, Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism. (and I suppose Judaism, though you probably might not be allowed to be officialy classed as one). You must be of a religion, and these are the only religions that exist, and therefore, you are a follower of one of those religions.

As long as this mentality and narrow-minded concept of faith exists, Article 11 will never be able to guarentee the indicidual right to ones own beliefs (ie Freedom of Religion).

This mentality is also the cause of the christian insenuation with fitna and greet wilders.
