Blogger strike?

What blogger strike?

The only blogger strike I’m aware of is the one aimed at inflicting a fatal blow to the lies and corruption, deceit and abuse of power of the last fifty years!

If that is a blogger strike, I’m counting myself in.

    su,

Knew you could be counted on.

  2. Dear Brother Haris,do you mean bloggers like Marina Mahathir,Wong Chun Wai or even Rocky Bru?But these bloggers are on the ‘other side’,are’nt they?

    Bloggers’ Strike?

Our work is not half finished.

Bro Harris, what do you think about WCW’s call to Rip van Winkle in todays papers to ‘wield the stick’. This scumbag who warned us to ‘vote wisely’ in March, sounds like he wants Rip to invoke the ISA, OSA & Sedition Laws and encourage the IGP and Army to threaten us by having ‘Normal Joint’ exercises.

Funny thing is I can’t recall the last time the Police & Army had any joint exercises.

So, if Marina & Rocky want to join Rip and go to sleep, that’s their call. Not mine or yours.

One thing’s clear. Many are fed up to the teeth with BN and want their whole establishment out, lock, stock and barrel. I would rather have Mugabe in place than continue any longer with this dishonest Govt of half the people!

    Keep up the good work.

  4. Arnaz Says:

    Ya… Bloggers want to strike.
I am thinking also about a proposal for weekly walks at different locations around the city, since walks are the in thing at this moment.
Each week, the Government and Royal Police shall allow for friendly gatherings around the city where the citizens can walk from end to end. Each week we shall chose a different cause or theme for our walks.
This is one up on the Government because I am sure it will work better than their countless campaigns to get people to exercise.

  5. Klaw Says:

This blogger is not on strike

  6. Perhaps, The Bloggers Strike Back?

  7. Ram Says:

    Sam,
Fully agree with you 100%.The coming eclipse in early August 2008 will have a telling effect on Malaysian politics.

  8. [...] Hence I was a little curious about the StarOnline article that mentioned something about Malaysian bloggers going on strike. My reaction, similar to that of Haris’: What strike? [...]

  9. toyolbuster Says:

Yes Bro., you tell them that. And blow we shall, with a most fatal and lethal strike that they won’t even know where or when it hit them, with or without Anwar. They can run they can hide, but we shall dig into every single hole on this planet in search of every single slimeball and leeches and we will find them.

  10. kevyeoh Says:

Why the histrionics, Rocky, Wong, Marina?

Only weak minds and souls will throw up ones hands in disgust when confronted by challenges. And those with weaker minds and souls flee from truth.

If they can crumble by mere events that do not affect them personally, then how will they react to personal challenges within their homes and families? Weak minds and souls don’t make great men and women.

Man came into this world to struggle. Life’s journey was never meant to be a bed of roses. Wong, Marina and Rocky exposed their Achilles heel and went public with it.

Look at history, friends, which great man or woman used the word ‘fed up’ and went into hiding? Mahatma Ghandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Corazon Aquino, Nelson Mandela, Banazir Bhutto or even Anwar Ibrahim. These human beings need to be admired for what they stood for. Anwar rose from the ashes to bring about reform.

Oh, why talk about history to weak minds and souls. Why take a rest for only 48 hours, Rocky? You may as well pack up and go for a holiday till everything is back to normal.

I will not waste my space on Wong. He too contributed towards the mess this country is in. Should I also say, I am ‘fed up’ and stop reading his blog or his newspaper?

  12. A Man With His Feet On The Ground Says:

That’s the spirit, Haris. I’m proud of the courage and tenacity shown by all those who are standing their ground unflinchingly in this struggle.

Of those who have recoiled timidly and testily, I politely ask that you step out of the way; this brave brigade is marching on and striking back.

  13. Fist of Asia Says:

    AMEN to that!

  14. tamade Says:

Ha, ha. Haris, you are a good archer like Robin Hood. All the arrows are right on the target.

Let’s hope all the bloggers in Bolehland will all team up and give this dictatorial and corrupted Bolehland Guomen a KO.

  15. Those bloggers on strike say they are weary of news. And this news appears in The Star.
    What a waste of space!
The makkal can’t be bothered with the tantrums thrown by these people.

  16. Shanker Says:

Wong Chun Wai – only worried bout his pay packet. What Mr Smith commented bout him contributing to the present troubles of this country is spot on.

Marina – The Great Pretender?? Always trying to sound like she’s all for liberty & justice. But also always
(and conveniently) ignoring the fact that her dad is the number one causal factor of all that is wrong with M’sia.

As for Rocky – Ah…once an NST man, always an NST man….

  17. Bangmalaysia Says:

Go on strike, they gotta be kidding me.

Lets strike these scumbag corrupters hard, huh!!

    Count me in.

  18. robin hood Says:

Didn’t care much for their stuff anyway. Whether it’s 48hrs or 48 yrs makes no difference with me.

One of ‘em comes from a family with a fortune reputedly worth more than Zimbabwe’s annual GDP.

One is a Latuk getting it’s pockets lined while hobnobbing ’round fat cat politicos.

To them, the impact of the economy going down the drain and the price of petrol hitting 10 bucks a liter is just like a 1 year old girl hitting an elephant. So,why worry when you’re wallowing in moolah.

As for the third one, well……………… let’s just leave it at that.

  19. Prince Principles Says:

You remind me of Cyrano de Bergerac, the fearless, poetic but slightly shy swashbuckling hero who stood and fought courageously for what was right and out of love. Watch the film (1990; Gerard Depardieu).

  20. Ahirudin Attan does not deserve the title Rocky!! Says:

    RPK!
    Haris Ibrahim!
    Bernard Khoo!

What happened to the 300 Spartans!??

And BOSS RPK’s injured! And now Rocky’s decided to rest!

Come on.. we need more brave and strong fighters to hold on to the fort!!

Haris, Helen, Bernard, you guys keep up the good fight! Before you realise, there’re more supporters who’re with you guys!!!!

    Come on!
