For what does it profit a man should he wear the most expensive clothes for it does not benefit his fellow men. You are only wearing to “syiok sendiri.”
Clothe yourself rather with love, wisdom and compassion for that is what your fellow men need.

Botak Syed Hamid should be dressed like the day he was born. When he put on a suit and a tie his brain has gone down to his arse. Cannot see straight, talk intelligently. A home minister, how pathetic..they must have scrap and scrapped the bottom….finally found him.

A basic rule of the external actions and appearances have an effect on the internal make-up of a person. We must be careful that our outside appearance reflects the dignity of the human being, created in the image of the Divine.
However, if a person carries this to an extreme, he can fall into the trap of “Arrogance” – caused by overly elegant garb.

  18. Albar is a fargging fatty- no clothes will make it rite.

  19. Truth Shall Prevail Says:

I wonder what Botak has got planned?
Is he going to take Anwar next on ISA?
I wonder what The Mamateh meant when he said “dont arrest Anwar using ISA, he has got a court case” I smell something fishy going to happen on the 24th. What do you think YB HARIS?

  20. Truth Shall Prevail Says:

Yeah I agree why the Botak is being compared or rather along side Gandhi? Although both are Botak doesnt mean a thing. The above one stinks like JarJarBinks. He is a cursed man. Cused for many generations. His actions will be paid by his own generation for many many years to come.

  21. Anon Says:

Well obviously he shops at Metrojaya (or Chotirmall)where they sell a complete set of polyester tie, matching polyester handkerchief, cuffs etc. He has turned out to be quite the weasel. Really disappointing this Blob of Blubber. Their days are numbered. They are going down.

The necktie is actually a piece of cloth tied taut around the neck to make breathing more difficult so that you can’t think straight.

Its origins are varied, according to who writes the history. But one suggestion is that it has evolved from the Freemasonary’s apron and apron strings.

Regardless, countless men around the world today everyday mindlessly tie it around their necks, like a noose, when they report for work in the morning.

  25. Barbara J Says:

    regarding his post which read
When do man-made laws outlive their shelf-lives?
    regarding SMEGAL

    my comment…..
I think you got this word wrong or mistyped it by mistake,
‘True, as the honorable minister observed, there are still people who play the ‘race card’ and sensitive issues’

There is not one ‘honorable’ bone in this albar character, if he was ‘ honorable’ he wouldn’t have lied to the public by passing the buck or blaming the police for the ISA ARRESTS. It is a well known fact the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS has to sign off on ALL ISA ARRESTS AND RELEASES, So what honor are you talking about, In any other first world country, if a minister was caught mouthing such dishonorable blatant lies they would be crucified, and asked to resign, but it seems our politicans have crocodile hides and are shameless, greater men have been crucified for less.
On another point, lets all stop beating around the bush and put all our cards on the table, lets be blatantly clear about ‘ WHO ARE THE ACTUAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN PLAYING THE ‘RACE CARD & sensitive issues’ FROM THE BEGINING’ with impunity, Lets call a ‘SPADE A SPADE’ and not lie to ourselves. UMNO IS THE ENTITY WHICH HAS PLAYED THE ‘RACE CARD and state issues are sensitive’ ALWAYS. NO TWO WORDS ABOUT IT, from the annals of Malaysian history, harun idris was famous for it, till our latest bigot AHMAD ISMAIL, not forgetting Najib and cousin hissamudin along the way with their keris waving antics, if this is not inciting terror than what is?. Stop insulting our intelligence. Everytime the govt wants to pull peoples’ attention away from some scandal or issue, ‘which at times is created by over-zelous “little napoleans” they play up the race card. it is the tried and tested mantra of umno. If this is unacceptable, than sir your views are as blinkered, blinded and deaf to the truth. What the whole country knows inclusive of my std 4 twins, which they have experienced first hand in the form of racial discrimination at the hands of our civil servant school teachers, doesn’t seem to dawn on the senses on those who practise it, why have the BTN than? what purpose does it serve?, WHOSE WHOLE CHARTER IS TO INCITE AND INSTILL RACIAL DISCRIMNATION IN THE CIVIL SERVICE. So in conclusion what do we draw from these propoganda tepuk dada and jaguh kampung mentality statements plus don’t forget, umno is famous for coming out with SLOGANS. It has been policy of the UMNO led govt, to incite and provoke racial disharmony whlist mouthing otherwise, so they can hold on to power by hook or by crook. This has nothing to do about NEP OR KETUANAN MELAYU OR WHATNOT, IT IS ABOUT POWER OF THE WARLORD TO STRIP MINE THE COUNTRY OF ITS RICHES TO LINE THE POCKETS OF A SELECTIVE FEW WARLORDS, pure and simple, so these politicians should stop all these putar belit and snake oil sales pitches, people are sick and tired of the same-O same-O political doubletalk BS. If you find my comment too hard to swallow than I apologise as I am a guest to your house as in your blogspace, but I will not apologise for the truth as it is. History has taught us well, a nation led by corrupt officials can survive only as long as its people have enough to eat and content, but the moment this is affected, pack your bags politicians and run for your lives, greater nations and dynasties have collapsed for less.

  29. sheriff Says:

“One thing about the albar jr…he is a poor liar.” So said artchan.

Not only is he a poor liar. He speaks down on all Malaysians and thinks that they are really stoopid. He doesn’t even blink his eyes when he tells a lie straight in your face. Skin’s thick as an elephant.

  30. Gandhi’s British India/ East India style is definitely in.

  31. Gadfly Says:

We live in our bodies and through our bodies. It is not entirely correct to say ‘Cloth maketh not the man’ or ‘Judge not a man by his clothes’. We use clothes to construct our identities, to tell ourselves and others who we are. Gandhi in the photo is making a political statement- of what man and what society should be – with his clothes in that historical context of anti-British colonialism. Gandhi used cloth as a political instrument.(Michel Foucault called clothing as the ‘technologies of self’)Clothes also tell us whether we want to belong to certain social class. It could tell us about our identification or protest of social inequalities or injustices. Man uses clothes to create(make) what man and what society he wants to be. Through the clothes, man experience the human body as not something merely physical or biological, but also psychological and political. Clothes always tell the story of man. Whether it reflects the authentic self is another different matter.

  32. doggone Says:

Chrome-Dumb has all and sundry pissing on his denuded pate so much so that he now wants to piddle back at everyone by announcing that there’ll be no amendment to his scared scripture-the ISA.

I sometimes wonder if he fantasize rubbing shoulders with RPK. I mean, how does a small maim get to grow up unless he indulge in the company of men. Oh ya, I did say small MAIM didn’t I?

  33. jungleboy Says:

What that is still lacking in botak is a multicolored toupee. Perhaps semi value can help him.

  34. gandhi Says:

Haris, What an insult to our Great Saint! You dont take a lump of mashed potatoe and ask us to compare.I would have been proud if you put Anwars photo next to Gandhi,.Gandhi spent almost all his life in prison fighting for rightousness. And Anwar spent 6 years in Detention. And now he is also fighting for rightousness, trying to free the country from a pack of hyanas. Can that fatty Albar spend half a day outside the prison gate?!!.Now the fatty will be gloating that he is equal to Gandhi.!Please change. None of the BN selfish and self centered politician is worth comparing to Gandhi the Worldly Universal Saint.

    Gandhi’s quotes

    For the ISA:

“Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent than the one derived from fear of punishment.”

    For highly self-interested politicians:

“The desire to improve ourselves for the sake of doing good to others is truly moral. The highest moral law is that we should unremittingly work for the good of mankind.”

    For Malaysians of different backgrounds:

Our ability to reach unity in diversity will be the beauty and the test of our civilization.”

    For Malaysians of different religions:

“Religions are different roads converging to the same point. What does it matter that we take different roads so long as we reach the same goal?”

The use of force against civilians:

“There are many causes that I am prepared to die for but no causes that I am prepared to kill for.”

About releasing the ISA detainees, and treating all Malaysians fairly:

“Justice needs to be tempered with generosity as much as generosity needs to be tempered with justice.”

What our government should remember when governing:

“Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent than the one derived from fear of punishment.”

    To all Malaysians:

“Truth resides in every human heart, and one has to search for it there, and to be guided by truth as one sees it. But no one has a right to coerce others to act according to his own view of the truth.”

“Do not crave to know the views of others, nor base your intent thereon. To think independently for oneself is a sign of fearlessness.”

“It is bad habit to say that another man’s thoughts are bad and ours only are good and that those holding different views from ours are the enemies.”

“Truth nourishes the soul. Untruth corrodes it.”

    “Give all, gain all.”

  37. Spokesman Says:

God has opened the eyes of many, the ears and understanding of most people of Malaysia to see, hear and understand beyond the natural into the inner nature of a man by seeing, hearing and understanding the supernatural God around us.

    God bless MALAYSIA from here!!!

  38. abil Says:

It is goo that such UMNO goons exist to finally undermine UMNO and lose all in the next elections. Keep up your good work Home Minister Syed Albar, so that sooner umno will sink like the unsinkable titanic.

  39. anna brella Says:

Clothes are irrelevant to who you are and so they do not add or detract to who you really are.

At the barest minimum, guess they are only ever required to cover up human body parts that need to be covered for the sake of modesty/decency in human interactions in that particular society/culture.

I suppose Gandhi proved that the more self-enlightened you become in God/Truth the more self-confident you become in yourself, and so the less you need to cover and hide yourself in anything pointless on the outside.

Ur a gadfly alright:-) Yes, many a time, a book can be judged by its cover. Nowadays, they title a book such that you know right away what to expect inside the book so as to help you make a quick decision to buy or not to buy. Yes, you can tell what a person is like by what they habitually wear. There are times, though, when looks can be deceiving.

  43. Truth Shall Prevail Says:

Fitted neatly on my screen on this page of YB Haris’s posting I see 3 pictures of “botaks” and coincidently they all are wearing spectacles.

The top most picture is a botak behind bars. He is behind bars because he spoke for us and tried to bring justice by revealing truths and subsequently sacrificed his freedom. He has the balls that not many have..he SPOKE OUT for us. He is our present day HERO and will go down into history cherished by millions for his heroics.

The second botak is the one responsible for putting the first botak behind bars. An arrogant plump botak dressed in fine clothes fed by corrupt and greedy desires. This botak will definitely see hell at its worse because he has brought suffering onto countless thousands. Given a position to serve the nation he has chosen to feed himself and his loved ones with plundered loot and protecting the evil. His eveil days are numbered. He will definitely be talked about and looked down upon but he wont make history instead he will be scorned and soon forgotten.

The third botak ..no need to say anything. The man is history and he made such great sacrifices that mere mention of his name brings great admiration and cheer. I would like to point out that the first botak can be certainly equated to the third botak. OUR HEROES.

Not bad eh! Two out of three botaks are good. And if anyone thinks that my usage of the term “botak” is crude and rude…I am sorry for hurting your feelings. For me I have got the thing for Botaks they are fabulous except for the likes of few as the second botak. So clothes dont make the man…action do.

Ha Ha..sorry YB Haris …too much time on my hand so start to write nonsense.

  45. Markky Says:

When you are a fool, no matter how well-dressed you are, you will still look like a fool for the clothes you wear cannot cover your foolishness.

But if you are a wise man, you will still look like a wise man even if you are under-dressed for your wisdom will shine forth from all your words and deeds.
