RPK Sedition trial : Directions to the PJ Sessions Court
October 3, 2008
2nd update : Commentator Daniel sent this in. Thanks Daniel.
For those taking Putra LRT, I suggest this way, no need to go down and up again.
After exiting the barrier, where you need to touch your TouchnGo or insert your ticket, turn right (there is only one way), you will see 2 stairways, one on your right (leading to taxi stand), one in front of you. Take the one in front of you, go down, do not turn, just go straight (station carpark on your right, JPJ also on your right) and basically just go straight. This is the “road that runs parallel to Lorong Sultan but is on higher ground”. The sessions court is on your right.
I live in Old Town, that’s why I am very familiar. I am not sure if this is more confusing than your instruction. You decide whether to post it or not. Unfortunately I am working in Singapore now, if not I will sure go there to offer my support.

For those reliant on public transport, I’d recommend the Putra Line. If you do take up this suggestion :
1. Get off at the Taman Jaya stop.
2. Get on to the road that leads to the A&W drive-in. This is Lorong Sultan. As you walk down this road, look out for a set of stairs on your right ( I’m almost certain there is a set of stairs. If I’m mistaken and there isn’t, walk right to the end of the road, and do a right u-turn ) that will take you to the road that runs parallel to Lorong Sultan but is on higher ground. I don’t know the name of that road.
3. That road will lead you to the courts.
You may find the map below helpful.
For those of you not using pulbic transport, you may want park you vehicle at the Amcorp Mall parking area and then follow the route I have suggested for the Putra liners.
If you are early enough, you may want to drive right to the end of the road leading up to the courts where there is a fairly large open parking space. Entry into this road is from Jalan Sultan.
For those familiar with PJ, the map below may help you get your bearings right. The courts are located between D7 and D8 on the map.
Clicking on the map below will take you to a larger image of the same.
Hope to see you all there this coming Monday.

Haris,
Yup! The stairs are there.

I wish public transport included planes, instead of just the usual buses and trains.

As I have sat here and happily read all the comment posted and kept myself entertained for about 8 months I begin to wonder what the hell am I actually doing? Am I just seeking some entertainment of lashing out at the government and not actually doing anything about it?
IS IT ONLY RAJA PETRA KAMARUDDIN’S BATTLE??
AM I NOT MALAYSIAN TOO?
SHOULDN’T I DO SOMETHING MORE?
Maybe I have not put in enough effort to support his cause. Maybe I give too many excuses not free, no time, work, JUST TOO MANY EXCUSES
Honestly speaking I feel kinda disgusted with myself for the past few days for not makin any effort to go to COURT to support him. Imagine coming to COURT and to see just a few dozen of ppl there. Shouldn’t more of us go and give him the support. MY CONSCIENCE IS ACTUALLY KILLING ME.
We the silent majority (and supposedly an intelligent lot) have kept SILENT FOR TOO LONG.THAT IS WHY UMNO HAS BECOME SOOOOOO POWERFUL. WE GAVE THEM THE POWER BY BEING SILENT.ISN’T IT SAD?
NO MORE EXCUSES FOR ME. I’VE DECIDED TO BE IN COURT TOMORROW. I’LL LEAVE MY STATE EARLY IN THE MORNING AND HOPE TO REACH THE COURT BY 8.00AM.I DON’T SEE MANY OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION THERE IN THE PICS. I THANK RAJA PETRA KAMARUDDING FOR HELPING ME TO FREE MYSELF . LIFE IS NOT ALL ABOUT ME – YES THAT’S WHAT HE TAUGHT ME.
I also would like to thank Haris Ibrahim for pleading /begging us to come. I cried the whole night thinking that I did not do enough and I am selfish.
WITH THAT I WILL SEE YOU GUYS IN COURT TOMORROW.
JOIN ME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN
WE NEED NOT FEAR ANYONE EXCEPT GOD – AND THAT I LEARNT FROM RPK
LOVE YOU RPK
SEE YOU TOMORROW FOR THE FIRST TIME ;D
