Alice sent in this comment a little while ago.
I thought it should not languish in the comment section of this blog.
It appears below.
Alice, i can only make it to court for the afternoon session. If you’re still in court, I’d be honoured to shake your hand and make your acquaintance.
______________________________________________
As I have sat here and happily read all the comment posted and kept myself entertained for about 8 months I begin to wonder what the hell am I actually doing? Am I just seeking some entertainment of lashing out at the government and not actually doing anything about it?
IS IT ONLY RAJA PETRA KAMARUDDIN’S BATTLE??
AM I NOT MALAYSIAN TOO?
SHOULDN’T I DO SOMETHING MORE?
Maybe I have not put in enough effort to support his cause. Maybe I give too many excuses not free, no time, work, JUST TOO MANY EXCUSES
Honestly speaking I feel kinda disgusted with myself for the past few days for not makin any effort to go to COURT to support him. Imagine coming to COURT and to see just a few dozen of ppl there. Shouldn’t more of us go and give him the support. MY CONSCIENCE IS ACTUALLY KILLING ME.
We the silent majority (and supposedly an intelligent lot) have kept SILENT FOR TOO LONG.THAT IS WHY UMNO HAS BECOME SOOOOOO POWERFUL. WE GAVE THEM THE POWER BY BEING SILENT.ISN’T IT SAD?
NO MORE EXCUSES FOR ME. I’VE DECIDED TO BE IN COURT TOMORROW. I’LL LEAVE MY STATE EARLY IN THE MORNING AND HOPE TO REACH THE COURT BY 8.00AM.I DON’T SEE MANY OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION THERE IN THE PICS. I THANK RAJA PETRA KAMARUDDING FOR HELPING ME TO FREE MYSELF . LIFE IS NOT ALL ABOUT ME – YES THAT’S WHAT HE TAUGHT ME.
I also would like to thank Haris Ibrahim for pleading /begging us to come. I cried the whole night thinking that I did not do enough and I am selfish.
WITH THAT I WILL SEE YOU GUYS IN COURT TOMORROW.
JOIN ME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN
WE NEED NOT FEAR ANYONE EXCEPT GOD – AND THAT I LEARNT FROM RPK
LOVE YOU RPK
SEE YOU TOMORROW FOR THE FIRST TIME ;D

Finally, someone else with guts.
It is time for us to stop limiting ourselves in the virtual world, and start demanding for justice in the real world. With physical presence, and loud volume.
There are too many of us who dare to do such who are living overseas. Perhaps each of us should start thinking of going home to make the country habitable for justice, instead of searching for it elsewhere…I know I am thinking about it. Hard.

All the holy scriptures declared that it is only us who can free ourselve.RPK and haris tirelessly directed us to revisit this Truth. To awaken one soul is already moving heaven and earth.Human are born different, yet the one truth of liberation applies to all.All liberation is only self-liberation as RPK can exhort you,but no one can grant you freedom.
One Major Question
October 9, 2008
I made this observation before but I think the comment tak masuk (kena tapis kot).
I seriously think RPK does not get the support of most Malaysians. Only the minority support him.
Why?
Because you notice or not only Chinese and Indians support him, only they come for his court sessions or for his candlelight vigils.
I see little or no Malays come to support him. Macam langsung takde balance jer. Try seeing Anwar Ibrahim… so many Malays come for his court case. Baru lah betul, proof that there is genuine support.
Does this mean RPK does not having the support of the majority of Malaysians?
Maybe we must get more Malays to come out to also support RPK at the court and at the candlelight vigil?
This is something that must be given serious attention…
p.s. –> I am not an UMNO/BN cybertrooper. Just stating the facts ok.

I WILL BE AT THE COURTS ON FRIDAY WITH A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS. LETS GO TO THE COURTS TOMORROW ,Take leave, use your annual leave, take emergency leave, take medical leave, Whatever leave ,JUST BE THERE to SUPPORT RPK morally at least.
Make this your THAIPUSAM HOMAGE. Its worth more than going to BC.
IF only BERSIH,Bar council, hindraf crowd were to be there, it would be really a good birthday present for RPK.

Mawardi says: RPK? What is his cause?
A righteous and fair minded citizen of Malaysia would have fully aware of the cause of RPK for the betterment of this country. Fairness, equality, integrity, human compassion and dignity are great virtues he is fighting for. Only people who hold on to their self-claimed supremacy towards other fellow citizens and be blinded by greed and power will fail to understand his cause.

Dear Haris,
Just wanted to thank you for still being there in the virtual world for us. I sincerely appreciate all that you have been doing in the absence of our beloved RPK. I so wanted to meet you personally this morning but know now that you would be there only in the afternoon.
There are so many “alices” out there today because of you! You have pricked our conscience to the extent that we are overcome with guilt for not being there at the courthouse to show our support but do know that there are some of us who are really not able to be present there physically but are there in spirit. But still we need to STOP being silent.
Anyway do take care tomorrow at the police station and God bless you and God bless our country.

Dear tzarina,
I’m so touched knowing that you actually consider coming home to make a difference!! I hope all Malaysians who are residing in foreign lands seriously consider this as well… We are in dire need of more courageous Malaysians and your home-coming will bring enormous inspiration to the silent majority (I’m starting to come out of this shadow too…).
If we have more of you, Malaysia will definitely see a better future very soon!!
Also heard great news about RPK’s trial today at the court. I’m eagerly awaiting more updates from those who are at the court. Please do bring us news about RPK!

It is often said that God helps those who help themselves.
27million Malaysians living in a democratic nation can do a heck of a lot of helping themselves and each other so our conscientious Alice may be…er…spot on.
RPK is a catalyst and you the people must be the necessary reagents in that Malaysian crucible to bring forth a transformational change reaction.
And with your history of greatness, and people with great gumption like Hang Jebat, RPK and others like Haris, you don’t really need any outsider to fight your fights for you now do you?

Alice,u know why ony a few pple ?There are only about 700 bloggers in the malaysia blogosphere.Out of 22.2 million resident citizens,so few people have telephone let alone internet facilities? The 3.1 million non citizens foreigners do not give two hoots about democratic space and ideals.Sumore the websites are in English, how many people read english language sites ? The max supporters is capped 25,000 pple.(pple who sign petition for Indie Judges).Actuly, this inaction and stupor thing or inaction, make dunno syndrome already has been very lon time part of the Malaysia scene. We are d champions for find excuses and jsutifications like rainy lah, or road block lah, exam coming ,sending Meng for tuition ,cheng meng at Malacca etc.Pple became very comfortable in around 92-93.RPK supporters are KLITES,outstation oso got ,but too few and mostly Seremban..So now what to do ? But dont feel bad about it.the fact you are besides yrself fer not being in court makes you a conscionable person, rare gem.Arjun

Rosmah Bakal Perdana Menteri Malaysia? – Bahagian Satu: Belanja Lumayan, Anak Suami Tak Dilayan

At last I was there at about 1:00pm, and the court wasn’t on session. I managed to chat with RPK’s supporters (new friends) and was told there will be no session on Friday, will continues on the 13th Oct. Again, I am sad to heard that RPK’s having a heart problem will be on medical checkup today or tomorrow. I am praying for the heavenly father that RPK’s heart is getting better.
I am going back again this coming Monday.

I am ashamed of my self. Alice comment is really touching. We have not done much. I wonder whether the younger generation is up against all this. The younger generation, where are you? Come and show RPK that you care!
And for some one who said that RPK accused without prove; well, if he has no resources, all this wont appear. If I were to request you to say about our politician/government bad stories and so much secret things that they have done, can you do it?
No one has been this BOLD. RPK is BOLD to tells the truth without being afraid of our Government. We know there are plenty of FLAWS, but most of us just keep our mouth shut!
This is the light that we long to see after 51 years.

Today I made my virtual world non virtual…today I finally presented my physical self at a place called..”the court”…..today I got to shake RPK’s hand and told him into his eyes that he has to stay strong and keep healthy for all of us…today I get to meet Marina and her daughters who has remain strong and steadfast for RPK….today I was able to hold the banner and yell,Mansukan ISA as the van carrying RPK back to his incarceration past me…today I am convinced that what the present government had done to RPK is cruel and inhuman.ISA has no place in this country….today I took that Alice letter as a gentle reminder not to be the many other alices….thank you for today Harris.
I was hoping to meet you personally today but then the session was adjourned to Monday.I’ll be there.
today,
I’ll be there on Monday, too, God Willing.

BAPA BANGSA MALAYSIA
Daulat YM RPK Bapa Bangsa Malaysia
We acknowledge your principles. If not for the principles you would not be what the people are looking for in a leader. You have everything that is needed to be a leader. You are one of the “Greatest Spiritual Leaders”, I have personally mixed with. You follow the Holy Koran. You don’t pretend to be holy. You are not a show-off. You are never greedy and neither desired to accumulate wealth. You hate a person who steals and tells lies. You do not mix with people who are corrupt and lustful. You are a prince yet a friend to us the middle class man on the road. These are perhaps some of the least of the traits I am stating here, and these are more than enough for great people to admire you. The people who admire you are even from the upper echelon. More than 60% of us Bangsa Malaysians are your friends. Even MPs and State Assemblymen came to show their support.
We all know that your writings, touch the feelings of all of us. People from the Kampongs, New villages and Estates traveled many miles to hear your Ceramahs. The Malays with a cry of Reformasi, The Chinese and again the Indians with the cry of Makkal Sakti, are with a hope that someday you and Anwar together with LKS & Nik Aziz will lead this Nation.
Umno, who themselves are divided in camps have today lost face due to their arrogance, pride, corruption, and unfair rulings. Even the Non-Malays who were previously their greatest supporters voted against them in the 8 March polls and at the Permatang Pauh by-election. They know that you are one of the major causes because you highlighted all these Umno crunches in Malaysia-Today. We the Bangsa Malaysia are aware and are supportive of your fair approach. The Royalties too are aware of your cries and pleadings in support of not only the marginalised but of the depressed from the Peninsula Heartland. Their silence should not surprise us for I believe that silence is consent.
You are our leader and you are not greedy for power. We know that you were offered seats to contest but declined. You know that if you had contested you would have won hands down. We understand that you had to answer your inner calls. Today we know, this was that call. Many of my friends are calling you as the Malaysian Mahatma Gandhi in the making. They are not wrong. They are not wrong because you are still fighting for the Independence of Malaysia, though not from the British but from the UMNO/BN of Malaysia. You are fighting for the independence of the Judiciary; you are fighting for the independence of PDRM; you are fighting for the independence of the ACA; you are fighting for the independence of the Attorney General’s Chambers; you are fighting for the independence of the Election Commission; you are fighting for the independence of the Main Stream Media (MSM); you are fighting for the independence of the Malays from the strangle-hold of UMNO; you are fighting for the Muslims also from the strangle-hold of UMNO, yet you are fighting for the rights of the marginalised Indians, the Malays who are depressed and deprived and for the rights of the Chinese.
Your leadership is needed.
It is my call that you be declared as our:

i translated Alice’s message into mandarin.
i hope everyone can pass it on to your chinese educated friends & relatives. let’s spread the message to more & more malaysians.
