Najib’s so cocksure that in about a week, notwithstanding a strong wave of disapproval from the rakyat, he will become PM.
Why?
Because he and UMNO think that only what they want matters and what the rakyat want counts for jack****.
Doesn’t matter that rumour abounds that the man who must decide who commands the confidence of the majority in Parliament before appointing the PM is himself displeased with the power transition plan.
So come 1st April, are we to be the fools, having to put up with a man we don’t trust and have lttle regard for, as our PM?
Do we, in years to come, tell our children that we were so fearful of UMNO and Najib that we did nothing to try and stop this unholy ascension to high office?
I said ‘try’, for that is all we can do.
Try.
Do not fear UMNO and do not fear Najib.
If you feel fear, overcome that fear.
Know that there are enough of us who love our country and our people enough to want to try and do something to stop this madness that will soon descend upon us unless we stop it.
Are we to be the fools this April, or can we turn the tables on Najib and UMNO?
Word now is that Najib is to be sworn in as PM on 3rd April.
And as I said earlier, it seems that the one who must accede to Najib’s appointment isn’t too happy about Najib becoming PM.
There’s also talk of a unity government being formed, helmed by one who was cheated of the UMNO presidency in 1986-1987.
Ku Li.
And you’ll agree with me, I’m sure, that anyone is better than Najib.
So here’s what we can do.
Does your MP have a service centre?
If he / she does not, call your MP now and give the person 48 hours to have one put in place.
Come the eve of April Fool’s Day ( 1st April for the unfamiliar ), from 8pm on, get friends to converge at your MP’s service centre by prior appointment ( that means someone calls / many of you call the centre and informs the centre that many of you want to see your MP on an urgent basis ) and tell your MP that you want him / her to deliver a message to the Agong.
WE DONT TRUST NAJIB!
WE DONT HAVE CONFIDENCE IN NAJIB!
WE DONT WANT NAJIB AS PM!
Take photos whilst you’re there and send them to me at thepeoplesparliament@gmail.com
On 1st April, I will post those photos here from all the service centres as further evidence of the extent by which Najib has been rejected by the people.
Try.
Thant’s all we can do.

It is very obvious that majority of Malaysians do not wish Najib to be the next PM of Malaysia. There is a survey that Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah is the favoured person to be the next PM. He is clean, experienced and favoured by majority of Malaysians. He will be the PM of all Malaysians.

I fully agree with Ku Li, the BN and PR should be mature enough to respect each others role in Parliament as both coalitions represent the rakyat and work towards good governance and development of our beloved nation. I am a simple citizen and fedup with all these terms such as: reporting, arresting, quizing, drilling, remanding, banning etc. Both parties need to withdraw all their suits and get on with the business of establishing a democratic and multi racial Nation.I wonder who can get both parties to sit down to strategise the new roadmap.I have high hopes for his Majesty to intervene to create a unity government after which time can take it’s course.

Haris,
Don’t really understand this.
1) First all of you boast and wait for 16/9/08 for 30+ BN MP’s to hop. (You cant wait for PRU13).Doesnt happen. When 3 PR Assemblymen hop in Perak (one state)there is a hue and cry calling for the peoples voice to be heard.
2) Then you say DYMM Sultan should never have got involved in the Perak problem, let people of Perak decide. Now you encourage petitions to the DYMM Agong to not to heed the ostensible wishes of UMNO who chose their President, who becomes the de facto leader of the BN, the majority party in the Dewan Rakyat and therefore the Prime Minister.
3) Given up on Anwar? Now it is YM Tengku Razaleigh (clean?),maybe we have short memories. Please!!!!
Why create this pandemonium? The Rakyat are smart enough to realise, as we saw on March 8th, 08, that the polling booth is the best way in a democracy, that many of us still hold precious, to bring about change. Note that this holds for the states under PR rule too. They too have to prove themselves.
If the DYMM Agong does not act as your “group’ wishes do you again call for 100,000 peopleto gather “quietly” in front of the Istana? Please refrain from these acts and instead ask the PR guys to come up with a “shadow” cabinet, if they can to show us the rakyat that they are credible enough and have the calibre to be at least an equal of the current Govt. in power instead of looking faults and pouncing. Some of us don’t want Malaysia to be another Thailand ,please. Show some maturity.

Between now and the date Najib is to takeover as P.M., will someone organise a petition to the King not to appoint him !
Surely with millions of signatures the King will have to act according to the wishes

Harris,
All of us live on hope. From time immemorial mankind always lived on hope. Even during the darkest hour of our lives, we are kept going by hope. So its not amiss to say that we live in hope to see our country healed, the rakyat united, and living in hope of a better future. Already many of us who blog or blog in other people’s blogs are the ones who live in hope. The rakyat who voted for the PR parties in GE12 2008, casted their votes in hope. I don’t think the fear is there anymore. Maybe some still live in fear but the number of people who have hope in their hearts and sincere prayers on their lips are growing exponentially. And they will be the ones who will change Malaysia.
To my fellow rakyat who still fear, I say this to you, it was fear that UMNO and its partners peddled to you. BN peddled fear and corrupted your minds, offering you small silly things like 10 new classrooms for that Chinese School or a new pedestrian bridge at a new village, things which any government is expected to do and not as favours to its rakyat.
Do not fear them. Fear arises in you only if you allow it. Remember, its your country and the future of your kids depends on the future of our country.

What Malaysia needs now is an ‘UNTAINTED’ PM to lead the Country. One who is truly Malaysia for Malaysians & do not fattens his own pockets & bank accounts from dishonest income, arm purchases kickbacks, macro-contract tenders and all that you can name it/them.
For the current prevailing economic crisis, ALL(both the Alternate Party & The Ruling Party) need to come together, put aside your differences, to lead the Country out of this Crisis.
To test your sincerity & concern for the Malaysia Rakyat. Come the next GE, let the Rakyat decide again.

Yes, we all love our country but so should ‘the man who must decide who commands the confidence of the majority in Parliament before appointing the PM is himself displeased with the power transition plan.’.
So should the MPs – both from BN and PR.
So should other component parties in BN.
So should the editors in the main stream media.
So should all people with a modicum of conscience.
Our political system is such the UMNO MP we voted for ‘cares a damn about what we want’. What matters to him will be his positions that comes with obedience to UMNO, his family’s comfort and wealth.
Rent seekers don’t care about country.
After having seen what happened in Perak could we expect much from ‘that the man who must decide who commands the confidence of the majority in Parliament before appointing the PM is himself displeased with the power transition plan.’?
Me think not.

We have seen it all before. When Mahathir ruled it was “Bersih, Cekap dan Amanah” and the country went to the dogs.
Next, it was Abdullah Badawi’s “Cemerlang, Gemilang, Terbilang” and the country went into the lokang.
Well it déjà vu all over again. What will Najib’s jingle be? Whatever it is make no mistake about it: the country will be C4ed.

Within UMNO we have seen a strong disfavour of AAB as PM, and loathing of KJ.
Why?
The same can’t be said against Najib.
There is no apparent indication of such sentiment towards Najib within UMNO.
Most Malaysian do not share this sentiment of allegations without proof.
I’m sure if they do, and most of the UMNO members, NAjib will never make it as UMNO Party president. UMNO grass root will surely deny Najib of any position within UMNO if there is enough proof to proof him guilty. Even Mahathir will surely reject him too.
Even characters like KJ is going to have a tough time in UMNO after winning the Pemuda chief seat, and even now there has been talk of him to be dropped from the new position.
UMNO grass root members are mature enough to reject any personality that does not conform to party principles, be it, an ordinary member, deputy president or the president himself.
This is where the line is drawn between UMNO and PKR.
PKR is about Anwar
UMNO is not about Najib, Pak Lah or Mahathir

Dear Haris, RPK, Del, bernard & all,
Keep up your great effort there with the Special Bunch.
Yes, all ABM should heed Haris’s suggestion.
All the Grandoise Plans of ALL their Incoming Wannabes (Supreme Council Zahid Hamidi, Hishammuddin Hussein and Shafie Apdal; the VPs Mustapa Mohamed, Noh Omar and Musa Aman) will Backfire….
Remember “What goes round, will come round to “Haunt” these Desperate UMNO Ketuanan Beggars”
What I call “COLLATERAL DAMAGE” at the AGM…..to their own “UMNO/BN Ketuanan” Warlords & their supporters….
To DELIVER….
A “Royal Salute & Check-mate SLAP in UMNO’S/BN’s face….
At the 3 Bye-elections….
Through “Devine” intervention, UMNO, its Leaders & their Mercenary BOZOs are now “Outdoing & Destroying” each other with their “Power, Greed & Henious Crimes”
- The “Common Denominator” in the scenario = ALL the UMNO/BN Leaders & Candidates they “Nominate” within their Party & at ALL the Institutions, GLCs & Corporates are Not Selected based on Merits….
- From top to bottom, MOST are NOT….
- The Right candidates for the NATION’s “Specific” job spec….
President Wannabe needs his “Dream Team” to “Survive”….
Remember….Mahyuddin helped President Wannabe achieve the earlier March Transfer of Power instead of the “Agreed” June date….
President Wannabe does not realise that Mahyuddin has his own agenda….
For his own “Political Survival & his Business Agenda”, than for his Wannabe President, UMNO & the rayaat.
Zahid Hamidi….to counter PAS & any Islamic issues after his stint in PM’s Religious Division….
Azeez Malik the Mat Rempit Boss….to COUNTER Wannabe President’s Enemy #1 KJ (Accidentally elected Council Member!) & his “Mat Rempit” tendencies….
Wannabe President has plans to “Trap” KJ into “Oblivion”….
JJ has always been Wannabe’s Secret Proxy Professional (Electrical Engineer) from his state for decades….
What Wannabe committed in Perak….will be “Done onto himself”
“Devine Intervention” works “Wonders”….
Just sit back & wait for 2nd April 2009’s “Devine Revelation”….
Pak lah, DSAI, KJ, etc could have the “Last Laugh”….

When someone’s a Tengku or Tunku, their short form is always Ku. In TRH’s case, his name is shortened to Li from Razaleigh (pronounced Razali). Hai Mei?
