If you don’t know it already, Zul’s ISA stands for his Islamic State Agenda.

Whilst Zaid busies himself trying to put in place a common policy framework for the three Pakatan Rakyat parties to forge a viable, long-term working relationship with a view to finally registering a coalition, Zul seems equally busy doing everything he can to throw a spanner in Zaid’s efforts.

If I have correctly understood yesterday’s Malaysianinsider report, Zul has submitted 24 Private Members Bills into Parliament, one of which relates to Zul’s obsessive vendetta against Sisters In Islam whilst many, if not all, of the other bills call for amendments to the Federal Constitution with a view to bringing this nation closer to the status of an Islamic one ala Zul aka Taliban Nordin.

If I have read that report correctly, one must ask how this MP found the time to churn out all these bills, particularly when one remembers that he’s been away for the UN General Assembly, having been hand-picked by the BN government to represent Malaysia.

It would appear that there is a team of busy lawyers behind Zul and those 24 Private Members Bills.

Now, anyone who has a basic understanding of the workings in Parliament will tell you that a Private Members Bill that is not sponsored by someone from the side of the government of the day does not have a hope in hell of seeing the light of day.

Seen in that light, two possibilities come to mind.

One, Zul knows that the bills will  go nowhere in Parliament but their submission into Parliament and subsequent publicity of that fact through the media enables Zul to profile himself as a ‘Jaguh Islam’.

Two, Zul is working with those in government on some agenda. This might be confirmed if any of the bills do in fact proceed to the tabling and reading stages in Parliament.

Assuming the second hypothesis to be spot on, one needs ask what agenda Zul and his BN cohorts might be working on?

Speculate again.

Following the news of Zul’s bills, some within the media corp now make a beeline to the DAP and PAS leaders to get their respective reactions to the same.

DAP’s reaction : possibly an outright condemnation of Zul’s efforts to undermine the secular status of our constitution and urge the PKR leadership to take disciplinary action against this renegade MP.

As for PAS, the media might first seek Hasan Ali’s response which might be resounding support for Zul’s bills.  Other PAS leaders might suggest that in principle, they have no objections but that the proposed amendments are premature in that the general public are not yet ready for the same. In any event, they take exception to DAP’s call for disciplinary action against Zul, taking the view that Zul’’s actions are not inconsistent with Islam.

Short term result : another public spat between DAP and PAS.

Long term result : Zaid’s CPF down the toilet bowl.

I spoke to a reliable source in PKR today. I wanted to know what had become of the show cause proceedings against Zul that was initiated last year following Zul’s involvement in the riotous disruption of the forum at the Bar Council auditorium.

I was shocked by what I was told.

The PKR Disciplinary Committee, headed by Deputy President Syed Husin Ali, it seems, had recommended that Zul be suspended from the party.

Anwar, my source tells me, had decided not to give effect to that recommendation but to ‘deal with Zul’.

You cannot be faulted if you now ask who’s in the driving seat in PKR!

  3. Maverick Says:

    Fairdinkum ,

  4. splim Says:

If Tian Chua’s conviction and sentence is upheld, let us campaign against PKR in Batu unless they sack Zul Nordin. I sick and tired of PKR.

    splim,

    Excellent idea. Saya sokong

    • sang kancil Says:

Agreed. I have no idea what DSAI is doing here. What we have is an UMNO stooge in the giuse of a RETARD PKR MP and yet DSAI is not doing anything about it.

I now hope that PKR will lose in the GE13. Sorry if I have gone over board.

      PKR STUPID!

    • tres Says:

i hope that tian chua does not lose his mp status.. it will be troublesome for him for next GE since i believed he cud not contest for another 6 years. And to lose a fighter like him in this stage is big lost..
      furthermore, only ‘menggigit’ officer and u got 6 years & rm3k fine…puhhh.

  5. Kay Says:

All the more Sabah and Sarawak should re-visit their respective 20-point and 18-point agreements with Malaya before they agreed to be part of the Malaysian Federation. Yet again, West Malaysian politicians table such bills without due consideration for the Borneo states. Let Anwar come right out and say, once and for all, whether he supports Zul. This way we in the Borneo states will know where we stand vis a vis PKR.

  6. research188 Says:

Zul, we know what you did in New Zealand to get your degree. You are a disgrace. Wait till the dirt is spilled on you.

    research188,

Spill it, man. We’re all ears

  7. Franck Muller Says:

If Anwar continues with this style.. we’ll see another 50 years rule under BN.

Yeah research188, spill it man! We’re waiting!

Just speak the truths nothing more nothing less..

  8. Victorinox Says:

I demand that Zulkifli be sacked from PKR immediately. What the ” F ” is saudara ANWAR thinking. He is a bloody liability to PKR and we the rakyat cannot tolerate this. Now you all wonder why the the INDIANS showed their finger to PKR. Yet ANWAR is not learnning anything. We do not tolerate people like NOordin or Hassan Ali. If you insist on not listening to the people, ignore us at ur own peril. REMEMBER MALAYSIA IS A SECULAR COUNTRY and we will defend that.Even INDONESIA despite having a large muslim population remains a secular country. What the ‘F” is going on man. We want to see Head Roll otherwise we will kick ANWAR out. PKR is really pissing people off with their inaction. Anwar if you can’t LEAD than relinquish ur post and hand it over to somebody who can.

  9. Fern Says:

I think Anwar is playing a dangerous game and not careful his reputation will go down dragged by his own inactivity.Already his side kick is considered a lover boy and matter a of time he be up to his neck defending his tyrst with lover boy AA.Already there is talk of this and hell! his second sodomy case will finish him off .Wont be surprise he will be hiding in another neverland!
Already his silence means approval and this is definitely a baggage! What leader is he?
You tell us !I think he is in reverse gear now and its sad he cant even reign in PKR like a true leader!
Time for us to open our eyes to ponder to kick out PKR for good and they need it badly from us.!

  10. shar101 Says:

Zaid makes Anwar look like an idiot, doesn’t it.

Hang on, maybe he truly is one. Anwar, 1-Idiot.

  11. Lawa Says:

Zaid kepala otak kau. Saya orang Melayu bermaruah. Kau ni pura-pura alim. Waktu di New Zealand sikit punya poya-poya dan main pompuan siang malam aje. lepas tu tipu di uni pula – kudis di PKR ni harus di bedah sebelum jadi pekong

  13. secrets of the deep has yet to surface.
the red herring is getting redder

  14. Khoo Says:

I think Zul has some of Anwar’s secrets ! Or Anwar is a useless leader now ! No ball to sack people who is not on the same cause with PR !

  15. Chan Teck Hock Says:

PKR needs a rude awakening. I agree, let’s vote out PKR in Batu if the opportunity arises. It’s about time! I will go to Batu to campaign.

  16. Adam Says:

I hate to put this i writing, the silence of DSAI to all the little Napoleons running riot in PR is in putting PR in jeopardy. His silence is not making him out to be an effective leader and I am afraid when he continued to maintain his silence make it worst will be for PR and give those little Napoleons the impression that they can do whatever they want.

Or the inactions of DSAI is due to the sodom case which he is facing not because it takes up a lot of his time but the threats of being fixed very badly in the court. Knowing the kangaroos hopping in the compound there will be no justice but the threat of a heavy sentence is very real.

  17. Old Putera Says:

This Zul is a fraud. He claims from his CV that he did his “Pra-University” in the elite Royal Military College in Sg.Besi. He was given the courtesy and hospitality of the College together with MAS stewards and stewardesses for a few months to study English. Even today, his English is not reliable. He was never ever in the Cawangan Putera and he was never given a Regimental Number compulsory for a proper student of RMC. He is trying to score Brownie points with the ill-informed public. Tak Malu!!

  18. Azizi Khan Says:

Not only this man should be sacked, he must be disbarred, disrobed, and send running down the street naked and treated like the thug that he is.

    AK

  19. Another Old Putera Says:

    Haris,
    This cheat Zul,

We feel dirty by the touch of his tar-brush as one of us. He has the same chance as Hassan Ali and Ibrahim Ali (UMNO mercenaries) and that would have been 1000 km away from qualifying into RMC as a real Putera!!

  20. Ilham Hanafi Says:

From very long ago the PKR & PR leadership have been warned about scum like Zul and a few others by many. Time and again they have been disappointing. If things don’t improve then Zimbabwe might be a better country than M’sia to live in, so help us God.

  21. Morning Dew Says:

It would seemed that Tengku Razaleigh’s call for umno to defend malaysia as a secular state has found context in an unlikely source – pkr’s own recalcitrant misfit.

  22. Justice & Equality Says:

It should be Wan Azizah as President of PKR who should flex her muscle to discipline Zul Nordin and not Anwar who is an Adviser.
As the leader she should be FIRM but FAIR and not let any maverick in her party loose to create discontent amongst the component parties of PR.Spare the rod and spoil the child so to speak. There will always be “clones” like Zul who want to be in the spotlight to earn mileage.

  23. lowxinpui Says:

Do not forget that Wee Choo Keong was also a delegate.

  24. Birdseye Says:

Good to hear from fellow Old Puteras.

    Intake 1969/1972.

  25. Paul Warren Says:

More and more Najib is sounding like a leader. Not Anwar. Really PKR and PR suffers from the absence of leadership.

  26. ahmad Says:

Anwar Ibrahim should go on sabbatical in the West, the universities there just lurve him. Lets find another PKR leader or adviser whatever before the next GE.

What say y’all? The Pakatan Rakyat needs leadership.

  27. Yamashita Says:

This treacherous Zul Nordin should be sacked immediately! His presence in PKR is detrimental to Pakatan Rakyat.

  28. research188 Says:

Yes, zul the w*******r and b****e d******g in NZ now dirt man the makes him and expert in islamic morality. Zul, kalau you berani masuk NZ we know what to do with you. Wait for the dirt man. We are checking information that you may have s******y a*****t u*******d …

    research188,

Send me the proof of the allegations you have made here, and they go up on this blog as a post rather than tucked away here as a comment.

Otherwise, much as I don’t like the man, he is, like everyone else, entitled to not have his reputation sullied without substantiation

  29. Farouq Omaro Says:

Pasal si Zulkifli pula, saya rasa “no comment”.

  30. chris wong Says:

if anwar dun sack that taliban immediately he can say goodbye to my vote and i will try to get others not to vote for keadilan until taliban is gone

  31. Hoyohoyo Says:

And Anwar Ibrahim is not even an elected party leader…

  32. Nizam Says:

If I am not mistaken, Zulkifli is ex PAS. He join PKR because he was not offered as a election candidate by PAS but instead was offered by PKR.

Heard rumours too that he had some problem with PAS leadership and thus was not offered candidacy in the election. But to be fair to him, these are rumours.

But the crux of this matter is this, he is willing to ditch PAS just to be an election candidate for PKR.

So is this a principled leader? Yeah right and I am King of France!

  33. Nizam Says:

    And owh, another thing;

In his blog, Zulkifli suggest that UMNO is disolved and its member join PAS. This suggestion is to, in his own words, “dengan cara ini insyallah bolehlah kita mengorak langkah maju kedepan untuk melaksanakan syariat Islam.”

    Please refer to http://zul4kulim.blogspot.com/2009/01/bubar-umno-sertai-pas.html

    The funny this about his call so that UMNO is dissolved and its members join PAS is that;

    1. He himself ditch PAS to be an election candidate for PKR.

    2. If he is so gung ho about Syariat Islam or Islamic Law, why did he leave PAS in the first place to join PKR. Tell me, since when “menegakkan syariat Islam” has been the purpose of PKR? Maybe I miss it somewhere in its constitution?

    3. If he is all for “menegakkan syariat Islam”, why leave PAS whose constitution clearly stated so?

There is a term which is call ‘munafiqin’ in Islam. In English it is call as hypocrites.

That describes Zulkifli Nordin very well.

  34. arianna Says:

    Dear Haris,

If Tian Chua is disqualified and a by-election is called for, I suggest an independent candidate from SABM or something should take on PR to jolt them from their high seat.

  35. ibnmohamad Says:

Probably these two jokers knew something that we don’t.

Without condoms there is no contract marriages (mutha’ah). The nearest thing in the Koran regarding condoms is al-fathila.

There goes the ‘ang pau ‘ for the snoop dogs /RA /
    skodeng groups ( saa assabila..)

  36. just an opinion Says:

    Sekian.

  37. a true centrist Says:

In the real political world any political party is just a vehicle for people with agenda to promote and project their belief. So it is no surprise that some trojan horse have managed to rise in the party. It is victory that count and the numbers would determine where the leaders go. Leaders are always counting their numbers to be sure they dont get knocked out under their feet. Some would argue that leaders should lead not follow but any leader who dont listen to their followers will be accused as arrogant and elitist. Timing is crucial in this shadow play and who ends up with firm control over the party will have advantage to lead our nation in next GE. The true centrist should work to prevail over the imposters for our nation sake.

  38. Shakuntala Says:

It seems as if Z Nordin is abusing the very freedom which gives him certain rights and undermines it by his deeds.

Why is this person allowed to get away? Is there no punishment suggested in the holy Koran for misfits like him who sully the name of a country by their actions….surprising that a character like this flourishes, while a nearly 60 year old, is fined RM16,000,given a 10-year jail term and is ordered to be caned 6-times.

The poor man did not harm anyone, by calling himself a malay prophet.

How utterly sad and hopeless that at a time when the Ra’ayat is getting wiser, bolder, and more responsibly knowledgeable, persons, the likes of Zulkifli Nordin, with backward instincts do not want a Renaissance.

We are sliding back to the middle ages in this country.

Is there no respite from control of the mighty against the poor and the defenceless….and the greed of the rich to get richer at the cost of the poor and the weak?

What a misuse of corrupted power.

As for Zaid Ibrahim, who is trying so hard to revamp the Opposition Coalition, it looks like his sense of purpose is being thwarted….does not a person seeking to do something good, deserve to be encouraged and be spoken well of, in his own country?

In the circumstances suggested of Anwar, should not then the good and faithful Wan Azizah, who has gained the respect of so many,be asked to lead the PKR?

Whatever men think of women and their abilities, history has shown that women have done wonders and won!
