The title of this post is the fifth of the five key messages that are pitched at all our Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia Roadshow & Forums.
It usually follows a hard-hitting presentation of the dark abyss into which this nation has sunk and how, much as we would like to deny it, we are, to some measure, to blame for the same.
The short video clip below leaves nothing more to be said.
Ambrose, you’ve moved the bar up several notches with this one, bro.

Classy! The text was effective and to-the-point. No one can afford to look the other way when there’s too much at stake!
I too make videos and can appreciate the art and hard work that went behind this. Kudos to the video production team!

Here is my transcript plus attempt at translation from English to Bahasa Anak Bangsa Malaysia – Ini rumah saya. Aku peduli. Aku ingin mebuatnya lebih baik. Hope someone more fluent can improve it. Hope too that this may be a resource to help improve our younger generation’s mastery of that International Language (international whether we like it or not).

I have to admit that I been one among those who looked towards greener pastures.
Because, I have once been badly suppressed and discriminated, by color.
I have been struggled so that I could live for another day.
It has been years of waiting for a change which have yet and never arrive.
I weep in my heart and I don’t want my children to walk through the same path,
They deserve something better and it is my role to lead them there…
As the liars continue to shout and sing the same 50 year-old lie,
I realized that the real nationalists of the country start to surface…
Frankly,
I truly saluted those who are colorblind and really care;
I truly saluted those who been hurt and still found their courage to stay;
I truly saluted those who have decided to stay to make a change;
I truly saluted those who been turning away from the lie that been told over 50 years.
I have to say;
Yes! You are the true nationalists who worth standing to shout SABM.

Those words shot right to My Heart !!! Last month I had a choice to become a naturalised citizen or renew my residential card for another 10 years….and I have chosen the latter. I just don’t have the heart to abandon Malaysia cos’ in my heart there is only ONE home ie MALAYSIA.
Thanks Ambrose for giving me reasons for not giving up hope for a better MALAYSIA. And thanks Harris for carrying on the work of SABM.
Pauline,
You will always have a home here

And you know what, Harris, I have decided this time to come home to vote for the next GE. I appeal to ALL Malaysians abroad to do likewise. Let’s make Malaysia a better place to live for our fellow Malaysians back home.
“Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean. It is the effort of many that create the ripples that can move mountains”
Pauline,
We love you.
Please get your friends ( and don’t forget to this yourself as well ) to check your ic number in the election commission website to make sure you are still on the electoral roll.

Oooh la la Ambrose….you have created poetry in motion!
with your kind of talent. Bravo!!!!!!!!!
I was looking at your arty and intelligent video in the late quietness of the night when not even the owl was awake.
Wow!!!….for impact. You need and are deserving of.. 28-million thanks from each and every one of us!
You have re-taught us, Malaysians, about the best in our culture and history.
That we as Malaysians, have an indomitable spirit.
A colourful, multi-racial, multi-faceted, multi-lingual spirit that is yearning, desiring and longing to find freedom. The freedom to reach out to our fellow Malaysians and to live in peace and harmony, as ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION.
That is asking for the best for our country.That is not asking for more or less.
Yes….definitely you and I matter, we all collectively matter,AS MALAYSIANS ALL, IN OUR OWN HOME MALAYSIA.
We know that for sure now. We are no longer indifferent.
Come GE 13 we will be giving our message to the powers that be. That they had been inhuman to have been indifferent to our SPIRIT,to our dream and longing to be ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION.

The canes are smaller and fall short of the desirable 100 lashes,and the are fully covered..

Are they suppose to cry their heart out and scream…

It was done secretly behind closed doors..
~What ? no live telecast? You tube ? hmmm.. how are we suppose to repent ?

It’s a way of keeping the humanity in us alive, Joe.
Coz for some of us who share a slice of our lives with the person who made the video, it became an added incentive to pursue unimaginable goals.
You matter, I matter and ultimately, we all matter on the good sampan called “Malaysia”.
Smile with us, Joe.
SABM! Live it!

Nice video. But sad to watch. This was once a beautiful country. Now she is being raped by a bunch of greedy bastard and a bunch of Bloody Racist.
Hope majority of people start to realize the true face of these bastard and vote them out of this beautiful country. Let her return to same old beloved Malaysia.

Haris & Ambrose,
One suggestion – is it possible to get the wordings in the video translated into BM and Mandarin to reach out to the masses who are not English-educated?
Patriot
February 25, 2010
There is a translation to BM This is my home: Transcript and translation with English and BM side by side in a table, meant also to help learn english.
Took some time to do the coding for the table, just wish it can be put to better use and make this humble effort worthwhile.
