If you ask any Muslim this question, the answer will invariably be “Yes, ketuanan Melayu is assabiyah and hence against the teaching of Islam” but if you say to UMNO that by fighting for Ketuanan Melayu you are not Islamic, you run the risk of being cited for sedition, police reports by all and sundry, or whatever they can conjure in the present system of justice. See the point, Harris Sir? Its not what is the truth that matters but what issues UMNO can conjure to stay in power. These so-called Muslims in UMNO prays to Allah like the rest of us; but then so does the hypocrites during the time of our Prophet saw.
But Harris Sir, notwithstanding all the above what I find even more unbelievable is the fact that certain quarters in PAS are anxious to also work with UMNO on this issue!! Its mind boggling is it not Sir, that you have nothing less than “ulamas” in PAS wanting to work with UMNO, assabiyah notwithstanding.

I don’t think it is helpful to use Google to translate the entire website. It leads to inaccurate statements and pretty weird sentences.
2 Examples:
SABM Message goes to the ground = Mesej SABM pergi ke tanah
Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia heads out to Sabah & Sarawak = Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia kepala keluar ke Sabah & Sarawak
And that’s juz the title of the posts. The BM page as it is now is not helping.

i watched the video…thanks Haris for taking the trouble, again at education.
From the commentaries on Mohammad bin Abdullah….he was born at a time of strife in Arabia; his thoughts led him to believe in society being corrected and for people to live in peace and he obviously strove to bring peace.
We, at this present stage in our development after 14-hundred years of the teachings of the Qu’aran still do not have peace….have we listened?
We have overcome the Millenium and are still carrying on with in-fighting…bringing the scene here to Malaysia, the very idea of Ketuanan Melayu is designed to upset the status quo of people who would normally behave and live in peace.
Do we need another Mohammad to bring us the same message, that we need to live in peace, with each other and respect our rights as individual human beings who are giving the world its colour and diversity.
Why can’t we respect and promote this diversity without upsetting the peace with out-dated slogans like Keutanan Melayu.
Tribalism is out-dated….we are now into Globalism and there is need for broad-mindedness.
Please to those who are hundering for up-setting the status quo of peace in Malaysia….leave us alone to follow Peace and Goodwill to all of humankind.
We are tired of being and following negative ideas. Please allow Malaysians to think positively for the future of our nation.

Salam…saya tiada hak membicarakan soal ketuanan Melayu itu assabiyah atau tidak. Cuma yg sy fhm ketuanan Melayu bkn menjadikan Melayu tuan yg lain kuli..tp ketuanan Melayu bererti negara ini punya raja yang rakyat asalnya Melayu…raja itu Melayu…(baca artikel/jurnal Prof Khoo Kay Kim tentang isu-isu ini). Sy seb guru hanya merafakkan rasa sedih terhadap asakan begitu gila terhadap pengetua-pengetua berbangsa Melayu-Islam, juga sy dpt rasai terhadap guru-guru Melayu-Islam yang dituduh rasis sedangkan tindakan mrk tidak sebegitu rupa. Cuba saudara yg bkn guru berada di situasi kami sebagai guru…saudara lihat sekelompok pelajar India bermain, bergaduh dalam kelas lalu saudara ambil tindakan memarahi/merotan mereka, saudara dikatakan rasis. Adilkah itu? Lebih memilukan, asakan daripada DAP ini terhadap guru Melayu-Islam disokong pula oleh rakan-rakan PR…dan andai apa saya katakan ini assabiyah, wallahua’lam.

Ketuanan Melayu adalah Jahiliyah kerana ia membuat, menjalan dan menguat kuasakan undang-undang manusia yang kafir. Para pemimpin Melayu yang beragama Islam yang menjadi ahli-ahli Parlimen dan Dun adalah Tuhan-tuhan Manusia yang kafir.
