Dr Jeffrey Kitingan has spoken.
Without harbouring any real hope of a reply, I sms’d Anwar this afternoon, offering a right of reply.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive a response a short while after.
“To what?”, was the short reply from Anwar.
I replied, “To jeffrey’s version of the peace deal brokered last year”.
I’m waiting.

You should drop it Haris. You made your point. Anwar was and still is part of this Sabah recent history. He has a mammoth task now. Are we part of his problem or part of the solution?

I would like to think that Haris and all of us are part of MALAYSIA’s solution.
If we dont like what is being offered, then Sam and others will have to search and cobble together a different “offerring” or SOLUTION.
Your namesake, Ridhuan Tee has his version of the Final Solution. The issue is whether the rest of the SILENT majority concur. Else lets get YB Ku Li, and Zaid et all to give us an alternate offering. Let PKR fall on its sword and fade into sunset like S46.

Apparently Anwar, as the defacto ‘glue factor’ of Pakatan Rakyat, has not kept his word as his bond.
And if the journey of a thousand miles begin with the first ‘wrong’ step, the destination we wish for will never be in sight.
Sabah, Sarawak and Malaya were equal partners in the formation of Malaysia.
Let the respective constituents choose their own leaders for the common good i.e. to get rid of BN as the federal government.
Otherwise, political power without grassroot support is as good as having the Brits back in town.
Tomorrow is D-Day for the ‘Sabah 12′.
May wisdom be tempered with the political will to be magnanimous with fellow Malaysians.
Over to you, Anwar. The rakyat are watching.

In my opinion, the most important thing now is to make sure that the PR will take over the BN the next GE. PR may not appear as clean as we wish but PR should be much better than BN. Once the government is changed, the people will realise that they have the power to decide whether PR or BN to govern the country. Please be long sighted a bit… To show how “clean” we are by pointing out how bad PR is will not solve the problem.

Look at it as a check to keep PR honest.
Otherwise, if PR is does not intend to keep its promises after they are elected, why would people want to vote for PR?
I am one to support kicking out BN for good, but I believe we also want to want to have a government that can at least stay together and not become unfrailed on day 1…

Never liked Anwar from his ABIM days.
Had a fleeting hope that he had changed when Mahathir persecuted him.
Also, when he presented a viable alternative to BN.
I believe that Haris is giving us a solution instead of another problem.
If these issues are not resolved before GE13, PR has no realistic chance of taking Putrajaya.
Also, the initiative of the 3rd Force is excellent.
We should get rid of elected reps who are not performing, especially those who won on luck.
I wonder if anyone can give a review of those candidates who lost in 2008.
Wondering that since they lost, have they stopped their “public service” or were the BN guys just in for the money?
It’s so obvious that most of our reps are only interested in the “seat” and not really caring whether they serve the people or not.

Is this going to be the end of our hope for replacing BN? After 2008 general election, I was so hopeful that finally my country have a brighter future. Sadly, news from Pakatan only sadden me. Is it true Pakatan party would not accept colorblind people like Zaid, Khalid Samad, Ronnie Liu, etc? Maybe it’s Malaysia destiny to be destroyed by racist. Majority of us are still racist.

Put it this way: Anwar is a “Master of Playing Out” and Jeffrey Kitingan is a “Master of Being Played Out”. Simple.

Yes Shar101. You are absolutely right. BN has not honoured the Malaya-Sarawak-Sabah agreement of 1963. that is why we have Malayan hold over the leaders of Sabah who are beholden to Malayan leaders.
If PR wants to do right by the 1963 agreement, than ?the Peninsular based parties of PKR, DAP and PAS should reflect this in their structures. The Sarawak and Sabah branches of PKR and DAP should be independent of their Peninsular brethren. The way they get about selecting their leaders and disciplining their members should all be independent if they want to give meaning to the 1963 agreement. If they cannot do so at party level, how on earth are they going to reflect this when they take over Putra Jaya.
The problem is so far not a single East Malaysian party or leader has vied for this, (well, at least not that I know of)!

I think you are not telling the truth.
Let me remind you that you are in Holy month.

My view, Anwar credibility is question and at very high stake now with Sabah & Jeffrey the rolling stone.
I will have to vote Anwar out his time.

Dr. J. Kittingan has readily vouched for the honesty of the 12.So be it. After all as a Sabahan he ought to know.
Anwar would do well to take the lead from this.
Quite a few of us are looking to Anwar to soften the situation, rather than aggravate it. Now is the time for all in PR to rally round their party.
The time is crucial for PR solidarity and well being. Don’t allow BN to take advantage.

Please try to cast what the Future of Malaysia should have so that all MALAYSIANS can work together towards a mutual goal rather than taking what are being offered. Existing one could be handy but far from Genuine or Sincere to what should be. The Journey is very very long, beyond one or two generations!!
If 2/3 majority cannot be reached, there will be no chance that Malaysia can Change. The Constitution and Laws need to be reformed to tidy-out the Administration, legislation and Monitoring so that Corruption not only be stopped cut but also be able to recover the loss.
Let People understand and choose the appropriate leader(s)!!Let People roll the ball raher than letting Politicians play the ball!!

I suggest Haris go form his Third Force in Sabah with those real fighters and become a coalition partner with PR later. PKR is over extended, and better stick to common soil.

Haris,
Any possibility Azmin has got DSAI by the “Orbs/Juglars” on this issue as well?
The last time it was the Selangor MB vs him issue…
DSAI appears to be “Controlled by someone” on “Critical Decision” matters…why at this 11th hour?
You be the judge.
Cheers.

Harris, lets stop this Anwar bashing and give him a break.I believe Anwar is trying very hard to solve this “Jeffrey Firefights” and a comprehensive solution is already reached. The “3″ from the group of the “DIRTY Dozen” will also be finally pardoned. The process of taming and disciplining and following of party lines by members will still continue.
Anwar too do not want to see the “Road To Putrajaya” end up in “Tambunan.”
