Praying for his speedy recovery? You gotta be kidding me! I don’t normally wish for someone to quickly die, but in his case, I really wish he quickly meets his end. This country is far better off without this evil man who is still hell-bent on his devious ways to make Malaysia like Zimbabwe, and the worst part of it is that he actually believes he is needed in this country!

Mahathir should spend his time now, reading, writing and talking about God and the world, in a peaceful and friendly manner.
He should start to love us…the non-malay malaysians, for our contributions to this country, for having given him our support during his tenor as PM, and for his having in his blood such a colourful ancestory.
Which is what Malaysia is all about a melting pot of many races.
Let’s give him a chance.

We shouldn’t be hoping for this wretch’s speedy death.
Instead that he loses his ability to spit out venomous words (throat injury, perhaps) but remains alive so that he sees with his own eyes Pakatan Rakyat take over, reveal all his shameful and corrupt wrongdoings, and jail him and the rest of the UMNO elites.
This would be the ultimate coup de grace.

Lee Kuan Yew, post retirement, gets invitations from world leaders to the international meetings on global economy and policy. Mahathir, post retirement, form his own group to condemn the present PMs and gets invitations from local racist group to rural meetings to give explosive divisive talks. Talk about legacy post retirement!!
Everytime he gets an episode and gets admitted to hospital, I always think ‘This is it! He’s going now’, but he still ends up well and charging like a bull! I know he will live up to 99 yrs and continue to talk nonsense on whatever suits him. Even God doesn’t want to see him so soon, so we have to bear with him for now!

I too wish the incorrigible one a full recovery and a long life.
That way I’ll know he’ll be able to serve out and savour in full that long deserved sentence now awaiting him here before he goes off somewhere else in the who knows where for a potential double whammy away from prying eyes.
That’ll certainly make those long cool drinks on those warm evenings in those chilled-out years outside bars that much more pleasant for some of us who now strongly suspect that one must always reap in time what one sows in time.
Hence, it’s cheers this time round from me for the wellbeing of the Operasi Lalang-icon.

Heard of the new OECD rules or the associated ant-bribery and corruption Acts now coming into force in nearly all developed countries, or even of good old-fashioned extradition provisions?
Very soon there will be no more nice places for any crook, politician or otherwise, to hide or stash away any misappropriated cash/assets from lawful tax and other national authorities.
Crooks trying to escape justice may still have the option of course of going to live in some hellhole like Zimbabwe or Burma for now, but that too will no doubt change in the near future.
