An Islamic religious scholar declared it “haram” (forbidden) for Muslims to support DAP, according to a front page story today by Umno’s Utusan Malaysia,
but added that MCA and MIC were acceptable because the two Barisan Nasional (BN) parties recognised Islam’s pre-eminence.
Even when DAP has Muslim members?
Do you then eat and partake of your brothers’ flesh?
Abdullah Sa’amah (Who? No one has really heard of him before this! And just who gave him the title of scholar?) ) said that Muslims must not vote for DAP and its two allies PAS and PKR in the federal opposition pact of Pakatan Rakyat.
The Holy Qur’an tells us not to make haram what is halal and not to make halal what is haram.
He who does so commits shirk, the one sin that God will not forgive.
In this holy month of Ramadhan what does Utusan Malaysia do?
Commit shirk!
In Ramadhan!
In the midst of their fasting and terawih prayers and payment of religious tithes!
Do the directors and editors of Utusan Malaysia not fear God?
Do they arrogate to themselves the right to legislate what is halal and haram when that is the sole domain of God?
Do they now make themselves partners to God?

Please can we talk about how low we have sunk in our race relations….someone told me yesterday,someone young, also a Malaysian, that even profits are not divided equally among muslims and non-muslims. This is downright greed, has nothing to do with religion.
Can we talk about how we can learn to accept each other as we are….when one is in love, one readily, says things like,”I love you, for the person you are….stay that way.” Should not this be the principle code of any religion.
In any case, these days more and more people are learning to think reasonably, for themselves…..they are becoming intelligent….that’s the way to re-act in the 21st century, not like five year old kids, pointing fingers, at so called sinners and not knowing that they are themselves sinners..

Today’s Utusan Malaysia mentions that Himpunan Ulama Muda (Ilmu) chairperson Fadlan Mohd Othman and Fathul Bari Mat Jahaya from the Young Ulama Secretariat also support the stand against the DAP. What Utusan conveniently fails to mention is that both Fadlan and Fathul have vested interests in that both are UMNO members. By omitting such relevant facts, Utusan practices deception.
Go on all of you at Utusan. God does not require you to give up your drink and food so you need not pretend to fast. Bukan saje buat diri kau penat tapi berdosa dalam bulan yang mulia ni. Bodoh sunggoh dema ni.

And Malays wonder why Tunku wanted to keep this country secular? I wish someone will engage PAS and tell them – IF UMNO implement Hudud, they will use Hudud to STEAL EVEN MORE and even MORE CRUEL to their political opponents including PAS..
