Wow! This is great. Has Stephen Oh’s stand sparked this? Truth and Justice will triumph. God Bless our efforts

I can vouch for Ian Rintoul’s fight for justice over the years be it for refugees or any other downtrodden group. There is no chance he will ever remember me but back in 1996 or 1997 I had the pleasure of sharing a paddy wagon (or Black Maria I guess in Malaysia), the both of us having been arrested for various petty offences at an anti racism rally in Brisbane. Never fun being arrested the first time (one does get used to it strangely enough) but he was very nice and calm and showed me through the whole process (smile during the police photo shoot- they love it….). Later, his Socialist Worker group contacted everyone arrested and offered their help. He is a man who has dedicated his life to others. Socialism may not be everyone’s cup of tea but surely we can all join forces to protect our basic rights and fight together for what we all agree with. Hope it goes well.
