To all of us out there, me included.
Whilst we salute the many for what they have done and are doing, let us not overlook what we ourselves can do.
Each of us has his/her own worth and has his/her own skills and abilities that can assist the cause.
Do not belittle your own ability.
Let us each ask ourselves what we can do for ourselves, our people and our country and contribute to saving this nation.
It is a beautiful country and we have beautiful people and it is well-worth the effort.
For many, like me, we can tell ourselves: ” It is a far far better thing that I do than I have ever done. It is a far, far better Malaysia I strive for than I have ever known”.
It is widely believed, despite the heroic efforts of so many in our midst, that as things remain, Barisan Nasional will probably pull through with the help of phantom voters and its trickery, albeit with a further reduced majority.
We must not let it happen.
It is all in our hands.
This may, in our lifetime, be the only chance we have to put things right.
This nation, its people, our children and grandchildren deserve far better than what we have had to endure.
Let us each put our shoulders to the wheel and help face the juggernaut that is BN, not just by posting comments here but by doing much much more.
Time is short.
Our country and its peoples need us now.
Our children and future generations need us now.
Let us not in the future have to tell ourselves, ” I should have and I could have”.
At the very least, let us talk to our friends, our relatives and anyone we feel comfortable with and convince them of what needs to be done. Heck! Even talk to acquaintances and strangers if the opportunity permits. Do it whenever we can. Encourage them too, to go out and do the same.
Do not underestimate the multiplication effect of your efforts.
Make sure they go out and vote.
Let us do it for ourselves and leave the rest to God.
And do believe that ever has it been that good will finally triumph over evil.

The govt we had, like a poor irresponsible father, didn’t care for us. We have to look out for each other. That useless man will be around. Who cares? Our task is to ask not what we can get from … But to do all for the people who are suffering. To share. To feed. To clothe. To make medical attention free, available. To educate well. To clear up our own mess. To clean up stinking streams. To paint old buildings. You were blessed with 2 hands and some intelligence and some. Just don’t be thinking of only yourself, your family, your children.

Dear Singa Terhormat,
Many ways. To those who can’t afford the time, RM contribution will be much welcomed, irrespective of the amount. Running an NGO, an opposition to establishment for one, will have difficulty in raising the much needed cash. And it wouldn’t fair to expect adminitrators of this blog to bear all, for they are already sacrificing in other forms, for the betterment of this marvellous country.
Haris will surely send you you a personal thank you note, I believe. And when someone appreciates you, it will be a wonderful feeling. Believe me, as a Salesperson being in the trade for 30 years, appreciation brings good feeling. So go ahead, log on to your bank account and click Send now.
As for me, I have taken a different path in assisting ABU in achieving it’s objectives. Deliver the Votes during PRU13, for Pakatan Rakyat. It might be a costly activity, but my strenght lies in presentation. So what better way than to open this big mouth of mine and convince as many as possible to think the way we at Peoples Parliament do.
Sponsorship. How about sponsorship? Maybe there are some of you having business establishment whose services and products might be needed by The Peoples Parliament. Computer hardwares, softwares, office equipements, stationaries, meals, conference facilities, communication tools, etc.
Let all of us take upon ourself on this journey of freeing the nation from BN tyrants.
Part 3 of my series, coming out later tonight.

I was lost for a moment. How do I explain to this poor soul that by right after 20 years on the job……….his family should be living in total comfort.
cont.
Bang, hari dah nak lewat. Nani pun akan sampai sekejap lagi. Kita sambung malam nanti, ok? Lepas Isyak ok tak. I probed. Kalau En. Azman nak jumpa lepas Isyak boleh, saya ada kat Masjid was his reply. Elok sangat bang. Lagi ramai lagi best. Apa kata saya pun join abang kat Masjid Sri Sentosa untuk Isyak, lepas itu kita bincang halatuju negara, I quipped.
Tapi En. Azman, boleh tahu apa niat nak bincang pasal politik saja. Banyak hal lagi boleh kita cerita, he asked. Ada sebab bang. Malaysia diambang penghancuran. Dan saya rasa sudah tiba masa rakyat ambil alih teraju halatuju negara. Kita tak boleh biar kat orang politik saja.
Nani arrived and we departed.
On my way back home, I was wondering, how do I explain to a group of fellow brothers, who on average have SRP and SPM education on matters concerning accountability, transparency, nations coffers, and so forth. Thanks to my sales experience, answer were not that difficult to come by.
The Rocket. Yes The Rocket which I bought few days earlier, November edition, with it’s headline People’s Economy. Problem solved. For translation, no problem for I am tri-lingual, Malay, English and Tamil.
After prayers, we adjourned to a stall nearby. There were 4 of them. Thank God there were no Papa Rich. Just nasi lemak stall. Cost was also a factor in choosing a place to borak-borak.
To spare readers time, the summary:
I opened up the centerfold (not playboy) of front and back cover of The Rocket. Bang ini dia rahsia kecemerlangan dan kesejahteraan negara, polisi rakyat yang akan diamati rakyat Malaysia jika sekiranya Pakatan Rakyat menerajui pemerintahan negara.
Ther were six headings. I started with Welfare, and continued with Housing, Education and Transport. On purpose I left out Competition and Institutional Reforms.
En. Azman, ini semua janji sahaja. Pakatan Rakyat mampu tunaikan ke? My response !
Empat tahun. Satu penggal. Kalau tak merasa, masakan kita tahu rasanya? I replied. Emmmm, all around.
At that point I realised sale has been closed. As my profession has thought me, time to shut up and say good bye.
Paid the bill, salam exchanged and was on the way back home, feeling contented for doing what is good for the nation and for the childrens of today and tomorrow.
Enough. Change. ABU

Such a relevant question, and timely, in the environment we find ourselves in, under UMNO/BN….
We are all trying hard for the right response..
We are asking ourselves constantly, if our hunman consciousness.has changed…..I dare to think and say it has, because most of us, are trying our utmost, to live in peace and goodwill and in harmony(remember the peace and grace of AMBIGA at a time of great travail) with our fellow Malaysians., we keep trying hard everyday.. and we need to be aware .that our hearts and minds are being transformed, slowly but surely.
Fifty-five years of nationhood are reminding us, us to look for quality in our lives, the change in our attitudes of mind…the utter need to stay precious, fresh, renewable( the gallant Himpunan Hijau marchers.). Our need to constantly respond to the call for change, for the better.,keeps nagging at us At this moment in time the call is louder than ever.
The time is near to exercise your vote…….so precious, so near, so change demanding.
There is no doubt that we want to be, we must be, need to be human beings, of quality….we have to reject old fashioned thought forms, like SEPARATENESS, FEAR, HATRED VIOLENCE, SELFISHNESS and extreme MATERIALISM.which we know, has led to rampant and in cases to irideemable corruption..We have to scrutinize our year end resolutions again and again, We do not want these negatives to be constantly pushed down our throats, sometimes subtely, sometimes all too openly,
We, ALL of us, want to be men and woman who are intelligent, selfless , courageous. We want to eradicate, above all, poverty , inequality, and most of all injustice, from our midst. .
ABU,is a movement dedicated to a constant quest to bring about change for the better for our country. ABU is doing a remarkable and dedicated job, in driving home this point..
Support ABU,help ABU in whatever way you possibly can and join ABU’s call, to help our country, Malaysia, achieve its rightful status, as a great, proud and viable economic nation with rules and policies based on RIGHT HUMAN RELATIONS, GOODWILL AND SHARING.
Vote with heart and mind…vote for change. The ball is in the Peoples’ court.
And by the way, peace on Earth and goodwill to all men, is the beautiful message at this happy holiday season.
