Folks,
Let’s prepare well for a massive showdown in the event the government/EC goes ahead with
the coming fraud and farce of GE. Let’s Learn from our past and learn from abroad. There is no getting away from the lessons of the Arab Spring, still unfolding today.
No ruling class or power entrenched for so long hands power over on a silver platter to the people. Its going to be a long, hard grinding haul. And its not because anybody liking or disliking it..
Even if the opposition wins the elections, the people will still have to content with the power and privilege of the armed forces, police and the bureaucracy, the real backbone of the state apparatus that guard the power and privileges of those who already wield them.

In the present system of Governance that is called “democracy” the ‘party in power’ – the government – is not a fool to allow the opposition to win. They will “ilegally” use all the resources at their disposal to win ad continue in “power”.
It is left to the “opposition” to educate the public as to how they – the public – are being cheated. It is the duty of the people to change the party in power for their own benefit.
“Will the people do their duty?” is the billion Ringit question.

Some suggestions that would help to create a UNIQUE SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE that would ultimately bring in GOOD GOVERNANCE by showing the way out for injustice, discrimination, oppression and corruption born due to and bred by the present system of governance that is mistakenly or mischievously termed as “democratic” by persons who call themselves political scientists.
This system would help to eradicate injustice, discrimination, corruption and oppression – the four pillars of an evil society – and help to establish the “Rule of Law” and “Rule by ALL” for sustainable peace, tranquility and prosperity and a pleasant harmonious living with dignity and respect for all the inhabitants in the country. Since all political and other powers flow from the sovereignty of the people, it is proposed herein that these powers be not given to any ONE set of representatives but distributed among different sets of people’s representatives (groups) elected on different area basis (village and villages grouped) to perform the different, defined and distinct functions of one and the same institution – the Parliament – like the organs of our body – heart, lungs, kidneys, eyes, nose, ear etc. – performing different and distinct functions to enable us to sustain normal life.
Election and Composition: Every area would be a multi-member electorate electing a minimum of two members. Members of the various Councils would be elected from among those residing within that area on “first passed the post” basis subject to gender and age group conditions being fulfilled and where necessary and possible trade, political ideologies and ethnicity being considered. The number of members of any one gender or age group shall be a minimum of 20% of the total to be elected from an area to a Council and at least one member from other ethnic minorities if they form more than 10% of the eligible voters. The members so elected would be considered as independents.. The number of elected members in a given Council – other than Groups 1, 2 & 4 – would vary from Region to Region depending on the number of sub-administrative areas in that region, governed by the principle of equal number of members to the same or similar councils from similar areas – irrespective of the size and population of the area concerned. (Similar to the principle applied in the election to the Senate in the US – two members per State and in the UN one member per country/administrative area).
Eligibility: No person shall be eligible to contest or to become a member of a Council if he/she had been a member of that council within the last two years immediately preceding the date of nomination. He/she shall be eligible to contest to any other Council. This clause shall apply to all members of his/her immediate family. Only one member in a family can seek election to any one of the councils at any one time. A person cannot serve for more than two terms and in more than two councils during his/her life-time.
A person while holding a ‘post’ in the government or government controlled institutions or public limited liability companies quoted in the Stock Exchange shall not be eligible to seek election to any Council.
The term: (period) of all councils shall be four years and elections should be held only once in every four years and dates to be fixed in the constitution itself as in the U.S.A. with a succession clause to fill any vacancy that might occur in between two election dates.

How can the umno/bn government which is playing foul every single time, be fair…..it is like reaching for the sky to expect any decency from such an administration.
They have sunk too deep into only doing what they want and not what the Rakyat wants….
So cowardly are they that even Deepak a mere carpet trader by profession is not being challenged by the powers that be, after some shocking revelations.
Looks like they are shell-shocked at what he has revealed.
Or are they suffering from a disease commonly known as thick skin.

“We will do what we can to continue in power. We don’t what you say. We have duped the Majority and these fools will always vote for us. So better hang yourself” That’s the ATTITUDE of all those in POWER.
So there must some provision in the Constitution – like the one in the USA for the President – that no person can be RE-ELECTED more than once.

Are you seriously asking this question? ANYONE hoping it will be free and fair? The truth is the apathetic Malaysian has not taken to the streets because he/she basically has a percentage of fraud in their minds which can differ very widely…Without real data, most of the cowardly, dependent and apathetic voters can’t come to an agreement to revolt against the powerful, cynical, cheating schemers..
The real question to be ask is how much fraudulent vote as a percentage of voters do you think UMNO/BN is doing – there will be no agreement on this, which is precisely the problem..

I have this strange intuition, that the UMNO/BN cabals have dismantled their plans to rig the election again and the conspiracy for riot during and after GE13. They have come to terms of their inevitable defeat. They are probably very busy stashing their loot in overseas account and may all together disappear from Malaysia. Some has the hope to negotiate with the current opposition on a conditional freedom from prosecution. And the fun begins.

That’s a hope! Ha! Bro, you think its just about money with these gangsters? No way. Its the power bro, its the power. Power is far more intoxicating than money. So brace yourselves for a bloody battle post GE13. They will take innocent lives if they have to – his father did it – he will do it.

Grabbing “POWER” to control each and everyone is the sole aim of the “politicians”. Thats why they enter “politics”

What are you suggesting then @Malaysianatheart? Do we all continue to vote Umno/BN just to maintain the status quo? Do you really have anything better to offer other than the politics of fear?

Apart from the closed-end negative answers given here, I think more the reason we should intervene personally to ensure PAKATAN’s hands down win. What can each of one of us do to ensure that? Contemplate on the proactive, dont be a passenger…

They can only cheat so much. And therefore the only way to ensure we get free and fair elections is to vote them out with an overwhelming majority during the 13th general elections that even if they cheated, they wouldnt stand a chance.
