The ready response of many to the call to help fund ABU’s activities is really heartening, even though it will never be enough to come anywhere near to matching BN’s resources (much of it illegally obtained).
As Malaysians we deserve to be proud of our love for and commitment to fairplay and truth and justice.
There is one other matter though that is vital for all of us to assist the cause and that is to come out in large numbers on Saturday, 12th January, 2013 at the Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat.
Rouse your relatives/friends/acquaintances who may still be in “deep slumber” and get them to attend.
The future of our children, our loved ones and future generations depend on it.
We are on the path of Truth and Justice and we know that Truth and Justice will always prevail. Let us now answer its call.
God will help those who help themselves. Let us all rise to the occasion.
We had a chance in 1990 when Semangat 46 with PAS and DAP took on the might of BN.
We failed then and they continued to divide us and plunder our land.
Let us not fail again.
It has taken 22 years for us to have another reasonable chance. Let us not waste it. It may not come again for another 22 years and may be too late.
This nation may be destroyed by then.
I am reminded of the words of that great Lebanese poet, Khalil Gibran, who wrote:
“You give but little when you give of your possessions.
It is when you give of yourself that you truly give….
And there are those who have little and give it all.
These are the believers in life and the bounty of life, and their coffer is never empty.”
Let us not have cause to regret not having done our bit this time.
Let us give it our all.

Most Malaysian dream of being the boss but really have no clue what it means to lead. NO BOSS would tolerate workers like UMNO/BN politicians..In some circle, we don’t even give these kinds of people a chance to reply – we just hand out pink slip and tell them to pack up and leave within the hour…
But the problem is I tell employee that are good at what they do, don’t even tolerate bosses like these – they lie, they are inconsistent, they don’t have proper skills, over the long run – they ruin your career and your personal lives – leave and look for someone else because life is too short and there are choices..Most bosses are not that bad…

When a poor man gave a dollar compared to a millionaire giving a thousand, we can draw a firm conclusion who has a more charitable heart…sincere and kind. I rather be that poor man who earned my living decently through hard work than, a scum who steals and robs from his country men. UMNO sound familiar?…it is a matter of time we will ABU-ed you!

Saturday 12th January 2013, though burnt by the sun, dehydrated, and posterior numb from sitting on a hard cement slab for three hours, was a day I will treasure for a long while. Not enough times in my life have I been consciously proud of being Malaysian, but that was one such occasion. The cheers, the chants – to quote a line from Les Miserables, “it is the music of a people who will not be slaves again.” And this, to me, is the crux of the matter. Leaders of political parties, whether BN or Pakatan Rakyat, must understand that the rakyat is no longer willing to accept a feudalistic or paternalistic approach from those whom we elect to positions of power. If, post-GE13, Pakatan Rakyat takes up residence at Putrajaya, we must expect of its leaders what we had expected from UMNO/BN – good governance, with all its hallmarks of integrity, transparency, participatory, accountability, responsiveness, and efficiency. Don’t let us down,
