The miracle is when a Christian priest is allowed to preach the same in a mosque. I have also seen another video of a soft and melodies azan being rendered in a Church by a Muslim. Still waiting the other side to open their mosques to the others for the sake of a united people.
p.s. The problem of Malaysian UMNO Muslims is also in their mindset, just like what the Iman said about Egypt.
An inspirational speech indeed!
Malaysia has no religious problems, no sectarian problems either; it’s the incendiary UMNO mindset well over half a century to ‘divide and rule’ that we need to get rid of!
Thank you for sharing the clip Haris. This has been the aspiration of Muslims all over the world and especially here in Malaysia. Time and time again the self-proclaimed “Enlightened Beings” i.e. Taliban, Hamas, Jakim, Jawi, Jais, Jawa, Majlis Fatwa and even the most learned influential religious institution known as “UMPORNO” is procuring something else. They say they are creating a better life for us but we think they are using it as a deception to keep our head in the mud, so that they can continue looting our wealth. For this very reasons we must save Malaysia and Islam from them.
Such gracious act by Imam Mazhar Shaheen of Azhar Mosque, Egypt – sadly missing in Malaysia that our leaders need to emulate!
First, that UMNO mindset aided by Perkasa to do things evil UMNO can’t be seen doing, must cease, no ifs no buts! This GE-13, let’s finish them off – Anything but umno! ABU!
Gerakan, MCA, MIC still fast asleep after 55 years? – this betrayl is unforgivable!
When there was burning of a churched in Malaysia over the Allah issue in 2010, Tuan Guru Nik Aziz paid a visit to 2 churches in PJ in a show of solidarity with Christians.
This is why i will trust my life with a PAS Muslim over and UMNO one any day.
Just one of many good things in that video – cooperate and collaborate where we agree, dialogue where we disagree.
Egypt has, for a long time, always had very forward thinkers in theology, philosophy, etc. Apparently, the Prophet Mohamad was supposed to have gone to Egypt and, amongst other things presumably, also spoke to some Christians (Coptics?) there before forming the tenets of Islam.
In Malaysia, on the other hand, there is probably a fatwa somewhere which makes it haram for a Muslim to celebrate in a church.
MyJihad.org is, indeed, to be commended for producing the video. Seems like they have hijacked the hijackers of Islam!!
This is a message of PEACE and LOVE. I hope JAKIM and JAIS will watch this clip and please don’t say our Islam is different from Egypt’s or UMNO’s Allah is different from Egypt’s.
Every single Muslim and Christian must watch this clip.
Thank you Haris for letting me watch this.

Here in our country we refuse to look at a simple fact that we are all sons and daughters of one God….that is the problem.
Yesterday’s rally seemed to put paid to this idea and I do hope that under PR, religious teachers will teach via example more than via books, because examples of good deeds are alive and meaningful, whereas texts can be ancient.
Our thoughts for our future generations must emanate from our own behaviour, we have to show our children examples of goodness, around us. They teach this way in Japan, children learn from doing the right things rather than just reading of good deeds from books.
Like Christians talk about saints, but there are examples of living saints amongst us aren’t there?
God has to be more alive and kicking like this Imam…… we have to grow to the idea that living persons have to be the examples for meaningful learning.
Mind you I am not saying the Quran or Bible, or any other Holy Book are obsolete, so don’t get me wrong, please!
Dear Farida….. what is the technical glitch you talk about..I’m just watching the emotions on the Imam’s face and the re-actions of the people.and my understanding is that there are no problems……do you get any English translation, by the way?
This is an example of where we should be heading. There is so much peace reflected on the faces of all those present, Muslims and Christians. Why would they want to kill each other when they can coexist in peace and solidarity. We can learn something positive from this. In Malaysia it is frowned upon when a Muslim wishes a non Muslim on his/her celebration. What crap is that? And ye it is endorsed and proporgated. We are really heading downhill being led by the evil one, who thrives on dissention and the break up of relationships!
This is what happens when the heart opens up. This is the beauty of the truth. Praise God. Praise the Egyptians. They believed and had the courage to set the truth free. Praise to our Malaysian brothers and sisters who love their country. Thank you Haris. God bless you. Mosque, Church, Temple … are places of worship of the One God.
