First day of Ganga Gowri civil suit against 12 defendants including the Royal Police of Malaysia personnel, the hospital and the government. Ganga is the sister of Gunasegaran who died in police custody on the same day Teoh Beng Hock’s body was found, 16 July 2009.
2 witness took stand today, Ganga Gowri and K.Selvachanthiran. Federal Counsel who represented the defendants tried to demoralize the witness Ganga Gowri by implicating that Ganga is not qualified to comment on the health of Guna. The counsel tried to implicate that there were no beating by the police, where Ganga’s lawyer, Viswanathan rebut it by saying that the inquest on the death in custody of Gunasegaran found that he was indeed beaten. He also reminded that the AG did not appeal the decision.
Another non-compassion question by the federal counsel was her suggestion that Guna’s funeral rituals would have been done with the rotten condition of the body. She also blamed Ganga for the deteriorating condition of Guna’s body cause she did not claim the body at the first place. Ganga Gowri disagreed to that, adding that it’s the responsibility of the hospital to preserve the condition of the body.
Another unacceptable argument from the counsel is that the police does not need to lodge a police report regarding the death of Gunasegaran in police custody. Till to date there were no report made by the police on this. How is this possible? If we don’t report a death in our own backyard, doesn’t that smells fishy?
Around 4pm, K.Selvachanthiran took the witness stand. He is a brave individual to be remembered. In 2010, on the day when the inquest verdict was out, Selvach was beaten and arrested by the police at his home in front of his wife and kids. He was released few months ago, and now he is ready to bring justice to the Gunasegarans death. Selvach identified the police officer who have beaten Guna during the arrest on the 16 July 2009. The judge, YA Datin Yeoh Wee Siam requested the officer, Lans Koperal Mohd Faizal Bin Mat Taib (RF 151345) to stand up to introduce himself. Court was adjourned at 5pm.

We all know why the quarter cooked police have no neither fear nor concern for the home ministry, first they police know very well how much the scumbags and parasites of Umno need them to do their dirty jobs and also all their irresponsible tricks of the morons.
That is why thousands of people die in the custody of the quarter cooked police who are supposed to be there to protect the people in the first place. I shouldn’t use the words that these quarter cooked are supposed to be there to protect the people instead I should have said that the quarter cooked police are there to carry out instructions and also the dirty tricks of the morons.
The only way to impede these monkey businesses from going any further kick the tenants of Putrajaya out in the coming GE. How can Najib is able to claim that you change the government only if there is something is wrong with it ? He is very correct to say this but what he forgot to realise that everything with the present regime are rotten to the core and just like everything else that are rotten you not only need to have them changed but most of all you not only MUST have them changed but have them indicted !

Haris, you decide whether the quote below is highly seditious, offensive and inappropriate in the context of Malaysia
You ask: why are they acting like a bunch of lunatics? They think: we’re the incarnation of restraint.
You ask: why can’t they tell black from white, fact from fiction? They think: we’re telling it like it is.
You ask: why are they interfering with murder? They think: we shamefully let our brothers-in-arms down.
You ask: why all the cover-ups? They think: everything’s in the open.
You ask: why are they so irretrievably corrupt? They think: we’re hardworking and plain-living.
You ask: why are they so infuriatingly arrogant? They think: we’re the incarnation of humility.
You feel like you’re the victim. So do they

SUARAM ….many thanks for bringing this case to our attention, agree, It is badly in need of support from members of the public…..a case of death in custody, which, although Guna’s death in custody happened in 2008, highlights the fact that to date this year alone, three more custodial deaths are confronting us and staring at us in the face, in a so called bright and prosperous NEW YEAR 2013. Does this sound bright?…
Is it not time to sit up to happenings rather unusual, when we are supposed to be a society in harmony with our authorities, when we are told that we are protected by law enforcement officers, our own PDRM who must feel an iota of shame for this sorry state of affairs that is happening right under our noses in the prisons of our country.
Can we not as members of the public with humanitarian considerations lend an eye and ear to help these unfortunate family members who are standing, at the moment alone, with the utmost discomfort to themselves, and facing their sorrow alone.
We, the public are supposed to be caring, sharing, of our happiness as well as our sorrows. Can we not take a few minutes or an hour at least to be present, at this court in particular, to comfort these deeply afflicted persons, who are coming to the courts to answer and question as to why tragedies have struck their beloved dead, when the dead did not deserve to be dealt a death blow, even if the offence they committed was wrong, because if the dead had been wrong doers, they HAD to be alive to be given an important chance to stand trial, in order that they might have proven themselves innocent.
Which God gave anyone of us the right to take another’s life…..on the basis of only on the assumptions from one side……sadly the PDRM in this country.
Please come to support Gangga and Selvach Santhiran…..they are in great NEED of your support and mine.
