September 30, 2013

Last Friday, late afternoon, I had my appointment with two officers at the Australian High Commission. It was a good meeting. Most informative. For all, I dare say. I will put in a fresh application for that visa next week and, this time, I hope it will be fairly considered, and approved.

Refusal of my visa application : An update

September 26, 2013

Flew back to KL yesterday. Got several phone calls and emails from foreign media asking to be interviewed and to comment on speculations as to why I was refused the visa to enter Australia. I have declined to do so. For now. A little while ago, by e-mail, I sent a request to meet with […]

I am outside the country now. Have been since the 9th of this month. Returned home for a few hours on the 20th and was out again the same day. Have been receiving text messages from several reporters seeking my confirmation and, if true, comment,  about a story in the Malaysianinsider that the Australian immigration authorities […]

He explained that the abstinence from sustenance from sunrise to sunset during the month of Ramadhan, it was hoped, […]

The day I was arrested, just before I got taken to the lock-up, I managed to borrow someone’s phone and sent the following sms : “Here’s the username and password. …………Please keep the peoples parliament going”. And Singa Terhormat did. When I got out and caught up with ST for tea, she jokingly said she […]

Judges who screw their secretaries should shut up upon retirement!

May 14, 2013

This blog has generally desisted in laying bare here the private indiscretions of all and sundry, public personages in particular. If, however, the situation warrants it, I could always bend that rule a little. To whom it may concern, take it that you have been warned.

Today, I really feel sorry for you

“From 1978 all the way up to 2008, for 30 years, my objective was to oppose Umno. And I opposed Umno over those 30 years because I hated corruption. And I, of all people, should know because during that time I was a businessman and I had to personally indulge in corruption to get ahead. […]

By Singa Terhormat _________________ As in every run-up to a General Election, we find various persons rushing in to sing BN’s praises. Most times they are persons who have some interest in BN’s success or hope to derive some benefit from that, but it is only to be expected that they are not going to […]
