I reached Dataran Merdeka a little before 8pm.
The rain had just stopped. In its place was a light breeze. Seemed almost as if the planned vigil had the blessings of Mother Nature.
By the appointed hour, Malaysians who cared had come to light a candle for Revathi.
No racial or religious divide.
No ‘us’ and ‘them’.
Just Malaysians who cared.
There were no fiery speeches.
There was no need.
The light of love, hope and solidarity had spoken.

no us , no them,
no need to condemn,

theres no need to put to vote
a family divided
needs to be united

I walked away speechless by the silent “fiery speech”
