Two more letters below.

People, please keep the letters going.

Dear Sir,I am a registered voter for the Ipoh Timur Parliamentary constituencyand I am very concerened on the recent developement as reported in the media of the increased in over 8000 new voters in my constituency.

As Suruhanjaya Piilihraya is the authority in the voter registration, I would like to seek a clarification on the following matters :-

1) When these new voters are registered ?
2) Why this issue was not highlighted earlier but only now when the possibility of an impending election is near?
3) What are the procedures for having the increased in 3000+ postal voters?
4) When will the Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya allow the new electoral roll especially for my constituency to be examined by the public?

I believe that in line with the government’s call for transparency, in the interest to all Ipoh Timur voters and the general, the Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya should address this issues publicy in order to ensure that the election process is carried out in a fair manner to all propective candidates for the Ipoh Timur Parliamentary constituency.

Thank you.

Yours fathfully.

John Tan.

Good day Mr.Haji Ahmad

I have recently came across some news from the electronic media such as Malaysiakini concerning the above subject, and I as a registerd voter in this Constituency would like to know why there is a sudden increase in postal voters and some voters being transferred in from other region.  Since transperency is one of our govt so called motto, I am sure your dept should not have any problem explaning the above.

Moreover, I would like an opportunity to examine the electoral roll to verify the increase of  3,024 new registered voters and those been transferred to Ipoh Timur from other areas.

I am looking forward for your reply before the General Election.

Thank you for your time.

SA Chan.
