The rally and march is still on.
I am going to accompany the memorandum calling for electoral reforms that will be delivered to His Majesty’s palace.
I do not need a police permit to take my grievance to my Agong.
Let’s have fun on Friday, the 9th, though.
Let’s all put on yellow neckties and declare that day ‘Support Electoral Reforms Day’.
Ladies, yellow scarves?

Did you mean Saturday Haris? Or Friday there is an extra event?
Hi Sivin.
No, I meant Friday the 9th.
There’s no ‘event’ as such. Just the adornment of a specific item of clothing as a show of support.
Would be great if there was a conspicuous abundance of yellow ties, scarves, tudung, t-shirts etc this Friday, the eve of the rally and march.
Should help to bolster morale for the big day.

This is a good way for every concerned citizen, especially those who can’t make it on the day, to show support.
The police may hope to fail the mass rally by blocking entrance to the Square on Saturday. However, what can they do if there will be one yellow fellow amongst every two or three people in central KL?
Wearing a yellow tie or scarf is signaling the support for the cause. Imagine when you see everyone with yellow tie in cafeteria on Friday lunch time, would you think it is a coincidence?
Such scenes would surely reach the radar of Bukit Aman, which may think twice about any crackdown… It’s a psychology game after all.
Please help spread the news.

Yo Haris,
Brilliant idea. Perhaps, it can be tweaked further by making it ‘mandatory’ (personal choice paramount, of course) for every Friday till the next GE. Like Chin-Huat sez, let the mind-games begin.
But if it’s a yellow outfit ala Digi, sorry man, I think I’ll take raincheck.
Damn, Shar, I think you would make the perfect Digiman.
Forget the raincheck. How about a yellow raincoat?
Every Friday until the GE, everyone?
Yes?

Every Friday till next GE, why not? I think we must think about the next course of action after November 10. We must not loose our momentum before we see real changes in the system.
Just like the lawyers’ walk for justice, it must not die down.
Yellow raincoat is a good idea. I was thinking of visiting Hindu friends this Deepavali with yellow umbrella.

Shah101 dont have the body mass for Digiman….but his ability to handle mugs is beyond question….such dexterity. I am going to miss this mother of all parties. Shit! but it is a committment I cannot put aside. You guys will understand….Haris does. But I will wear yellow in solidarity. My current lighter is yellow…..Michelle (Meesh) hijacked it for one night.

Alamak Haris… I have a problem lah.
Yellow tie is a good idea except that I have not worn a tie for the last ten years, and do not intend to do so in the near future.
Yellow scarf – Mat Salleh woolen scarf will cook me in my own juices and a yellow tudung does not quite fit me lah.
So… I shall go out afterwards, and do the best I can.
I shall buy a roll of bright yellow ribbon, and tie a piece on my car’s radio aerial early this Friday. And only take it down Saturday night. Then, nxt Friday, a fresh bright yelllow ribbon it shall be!
leithasor,
A yellow arm band or bandana?

a yellow wrist band.
Harris, a question for all visitor: what stopping us from having a fixed date and term for general election instead of having to have “inspiration” to have one? How about four year instead of a five-year term, since most of the time those fellas are itching to have one less than the full five years term?
Moses,
Look at Article 55 of the Federal Constitution

I have a funky furry yellow hat. That I will wear. Friday, Saturday and other Fridays till something happens… 🙂
Shar the Digiman? No, I think A Voice wud make a nice Digiman, as would Ungker Zorro, Mob 1900, Mat Salo.
Btw yellow possibilities are endless la. Like Harris said, yellow bandana, armband, raincoat. You can have yellow scarf, umbrella, sneakers, hat/beanie/cap, coat, hanky, shawl, hairband, yellow flowers, .
Speaking of coat, hmm where is that Dick Tracy fella? Need to borrow his trenchcoat…

Thanks Haris for the clarification. Sorry for being blur. I’ll be wearing some kind of yellow while being in the labor room with my wife as we await baby no. 3 on Friday! 🙂 I know a group of my friends and church members will be there on Saturday …
People, we will soon, by God’s grace, have another anak Bangsa Malaysia to justify our march for a free and fair elections.
Sivin, enjoy yourself in the labor room.

Finally got myself something bright yellow to wear tomorrow.
No, not a bandana – how lah Haris, old man wearing a bandana. That may be grounds to arrest me for being a disgusting sight to behold!
Just a bright yellow T-shirt.
I had to take the display one. No other yellow T-shirts left in that Giant outlet. Other colours got; plenty of blue ones, orange, green… Just no more YELLOW ones. Does that indicate anything?
