Azmin Ali of PKR is quoted by NST online today :
“We were short of staff in the office and suddenly he came and volunteered, which we accepted in good faith,”
Last night, a regular reader called me to ask what I made of this latest accusation against Anwar and whether the ‘plant’ explanation that was being put out by PKR might not be an effort to discredit the complainant.
Now, if you’re a frequent visitor to this blog, you will know by now that I’m not a PKR or Anwar fan.
One person amongst the few in PKR that I do like is Din Merican.
Why?
Don’t know, but I half suspect it’s because he has a very kind face.
I know, I know, don’t judge a book by its cover, blah blah blah…
And I do keep in touch with Din from time to time.
More so in the run-up to the last elections.
Sometime in February this year, we had agreed to meet for lunch and I was to pick him up at Anwar’s office in Section 16, PJ.
When I got to the office, Din asked me to take a seat as he had a few loose ends to tie up.
As he attended to those ‘loose ends’, Din proceeded to disclose to me something that I made note of but made no inquiry of at the time. Let me try to narrate to you what he said as best as I can recall.
“UMNO has sent a spy. They think we don’t know. Now we are spying on the spy. And we are going to give him enough rope to hang himself. And when the time comes, we will tighten the noose”
So, no, I don’t think Azmin’s statement as quoted in NST online today is an attempt to discredit the complainant.
I think that on 28th June, the noose around the canary’s neck, or that of its owner’s, had gotten so tight that it started to sing ‘liwat, liwat’ in a high-pitched tone.
I’ll round this off by quoting Ong Kian Ming & Oon Yeoh in their latest Real Politik podcast on Malaysiakini :
‘The notion that a 61-year old with a bad back can forcibly sodomise a strapping 23-year old is laughable. This is simply not the kind of thing that anyone, not even Anwar’s harshest critic, is going to believe’

“We were short of staff in the office and suddenly he came and volunteered, which we accepted in good faith,”-azmin

The biggest issue to me of this is the ‘LACK OF ORIGNALITY’. If this was by UMNO we should be concern not whether its true or false but rather after nearly 10 years, these goons have not improved themselves in any way. Do they reflect a certain entitled group that think they don’t have to change and improve AND people owe them a living and likely more?
We should be concern because these people will be marginalized one way or other, become a burden and ultimately resort to desperate means harming innocent and most helpless unfortunate in our society.

Desperate men will do desperate things to stay in power.
Which of the hate mongers are involved sooner or later will be known. Anwar’s experience with the black eye has forced him to seek shelter at the Turkish embassy.

Dear Haris,
You and Din Merican are more similar than you think, judging from the postings and comments in both the blogs I regularly visit. Both of you constantly urge and encourage us non-Malays to stay on and fight for a united Malaysia; both of you see through the very stupid charades put up by the monkeys in UMNO, and both of you want our country to be the best we can be for our future generations.
In the case of this rather boring and very un-original means of trying to get rid of DSAI, all I can say is that the more these monkeys react, the more pissed off the rakyat have become.

Dear Haris,
Here we go again.
Back in 1998, Commonwealth Games closing ceremony, my friends and I were caught in the police crackdown against Desai’s supporters demonstrating at Bukit Jalil.
I never believed in that 1998 sodomy case. The trial that ensued and so-called evidences produced, made our judiciary a laughing stock.
Am not DSAI fan either but I’ll stand up for him this time because the powers can be must not be allowed to continue abusing the law and victimising just anybody who stand up against them.
And to think that Gani Patail used to be an old acquaintance!
I’ll go for DSAI/PR for a government now. Sometimes, we must take side for what is right.

All over the net, people have been making “remarks” about this Saiful chap. Most of it negative remarks. Some said he was forced. Some said he was “bought” to make the police report. Some taunt him as “a traitor”.
Remember this word ? “KEADILAN”.
Have we already forgotten that concept ?
Why is the complainant receiving the cannon fodder ?
Because he claims that he was sodomized by DSAI ?
Would the public acted differently it the sodomizer was other than DSAI ?
Give the chap the benefit of the doubt. Let the system do its work.

It presupposes that one has faith in the system.

‘The notion that a 61-year old with a bad back can forcibly sodomise a strapping 23-year old is laughable. This is simply not the kind of thing that anyone, not even Anwar’s harshest critic, is going to believe’
1. DSAI’s back is not as bad as he would have to walk around with a stick.
2. A young person does not necessarily mean a strong person.
3. A 61 year old with a bad back and who had undergone back surgery does not simply mean that he is weak. Infact, with all the treatment that DSAI has been getting, he might even be healthier than before.
Age and health issues are subjective in nature.

Nah, there is no way I will do it, that is the end game. And for Anwar, did he do it? Nah, he won’t do it, he has tasted life in prison, he has tasted the agony of being put on trial. He suffered so much, he probably will never think of the word buttfuck at all.

I just came back from Indonesia to find this ridiculous turn of events happening in Malaysia. Not even the most cynical of us would have expected something so low… but then again, maybe we should have, since we have an IGP and AG with about as much credibility as Robert Mugabe.
Din Merican is an intelligent, principled man not given to making wild accusations, and I am strongly inclined to believe his account.
Let’s find the culprits and hang them out to dry. Perhaps we’ll hear a few more high-pitched tunes then.

Haris Ibrahim,
I have seen enough of young IDEALISTIC and more than anything else , very NAIVE students in LOcal Universities trying to be leaders or popular leaders of their same kind.
Among the Malays there are two of a kind, or perhaps, 3.
1] the PAS, ABIM, JIM, PPKIM symphatizers sometimes supporters, religious, spiritual inclined. Amongst them are degrees of extremities.
2] the Nationalists, UMNO, GPMS supporters nominally Muslims [meaning they do the 5 prayers etc]. Amongst them too are degrees of extremities. Perhaps, racists or racialist.
3] the modern secular kind music, entertainment-centric, usually coming from middle to upper class [Income, urban families]. Many ignorant of their religion or identity as Malay. Again, amongst them are degrees of leanings.
a) Well, a few of them become susceptible to INDOCTRINATION and CADRE-training, by UMNO,PAS, PKR, JIM, ABIM, PPKIM .
b) a few wayward impressionable, naive and having problems of dysfunctional family, financial, social attitudes, parochial, or at the other extreme too modern and secular and sex deviant
Both become easy target and victim of the political Manipulators … sometimes they get blackmailed.
Political arena is the best place to start and play games with naive and innocent young men and women.
Well, when to come to, it is NOT just confined to young students, I have seen academic staff willing to sell their intellect for pittance.
Might as well, say it all, in Zimbabwe Timur, Semua Boleh !

racelogic,
I placed much hope in the system when I started the fight for the 4 apostates in 2000.
By the time I was involved with the Lina Joy appeals in the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court, my faith in the judicial system was shattered.
The recent revelations leave me with little doubt that until we see a complete overhaul of many of the institutions in the country ( judiciary, police, AG’s, ACA ) there is little reason to pin our hopes for justice on ‘the system’.

Dear Brother Haris,I am no fan of Anwar either, being a victim of his racist policies when he was our Education Minister back then.
If Anwar or PKR for that matter, could not handle a 23 years old volunteer, how can they handle the PM post and solve the fuel hike? His claim of being the PM in waiting and the ability to bring down the price of oil began to sound hollow.
Even his political experiences when he was in the BN and his incarceration could not match up to a local university dropout!
Haris, perhaps when you met Din Merican again, for frienship sake, ask him whether he is sure of being in the right party.
But I do sympathised with Dr Azizah though. She seems to be a gentle but strong lady. And being the loyal wife, she have to stick by her man,in good or bad times.

1. The 2 previous “partners in unnatural sex” with Anwar, Dr Munawar and Sukma Darmawan made statutory declaration that they were “coerced” into admission of guilt.
2. The mattress that was paraded over 20 times was RULED OUT as evidence, by even our corrupt judiciary. That shows how flimsy that “evidence” was, which was no more than a publicity stunt.
3. Dr Munawar was supposed to have taken an overnight flight from the UK to KL, got sodomized, and taken a return flight back to UK after that!
4. The building that Anwar supposedly performed his sodomy in, did not even exist during the time of the incident.
5. Anwar got 9 years for sodomy, while his “partners” got 6 months each!
So who really got screwed, and who really did the screwing?
I rest my case.

Just what did you expect DSAI to do, to ‘handle a 23 years old volunteer’? Certainly, not the way of C4, or a summary ‘kautim’ order to our special UTK folks. The vile means of replaying this sodomy charges (apparently very effective against Muslim men) could have come from anyone, nevermind that they will not be able to prove it other than to politically kill him off. Only desperate monkeys in UMNO would stoop this low, and it all started when an evil mamak found it to be useful.

Salam,
Haris. Again, we are digressing from the issue. Regardless of Saiful’s political affiliation, the question remains whether sodomy did actually happen or not.
Secondly, if he is a spy, and PKR knew about him, then why was he allowed to be Anwar’s aide? A coffee boy or a dispatch, if he is a threat, why allow him to go on?
Thirdly, to just assume that he was strong AT THE MOMENT of sodomy IS laughable and shows a lack of neutrality and objectivity in thought.

Moreover, can a person be tried for the same type of “crime” twice’?
If this case goes through to finish off Mr Anwar Ibrahim’s political career , I think UMNO is finished. Its credibility and decency would be totally exposed. It has none basically.
I hope it does not come to that. I hope the good and decent people in UMNO who believes in democracy and are beyond greed, power, money and privilege will either throw out those felons from UMNO, or leave UMNO and form a new 21st century political party.

Everybody,
Why does everyone keep saying Saiful was a spy and keep dealing him crap? The fact is, there are three possibilities:
1. He got sodomised
2. He was a mole and was plotting this all along
3. He was interrogated and forced into making a report
Can we stop a second and give him just a little bit of benefit of the doubt? Ask WHAT IF…
Okay, he switched camps from Najib’s just before elections. Would no-one agree that that would make him a natural target as a retaliatory tool against DSAI for RPK’s statutory declaration?
Just think WHAT IF Najib’s camp had a grudge against Saiful and forced him into making the confession? Really, can we rule out that possibility?
If that were true, I’m telling you, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan is the unluckiest person in the world today. SCREWED BEYOND REDEMPTION.
Nobody ever asks WHAT IF. Just look at all the comments posted on Malaysia Today. You guys are just being a bunch of donkeys wanting to give a piece of your mind and bloody insulting someone when you don’t even know the truth.

How much time, effort and manpower do you have to trail and observe him? He goes home at night, have you noted his visitors and other places he went to?? Have you got the gadget to listen on him? Are you trained to analyze his daily behaviour patterns.

As in the first case (1998),I don’t believe it, not for a million years. This big fitnah is an evil work hatched by evil persons who have no fear of Allah. Don’t you see what is happening to a supposedly great guy who hatched the same fitnah ten years ago? He is living to see one by one of his evil deeds exposed. He may be a super rich person, but he can hardly retire in peace. There is always something disturbing him.
Let us pray that the conspirators be punished by Allah here in this worldly life and in the hereafter with the gravest punishment.
One can easily read that htere is a conspiracy to get rid of DS Anwar by whatever means. Many people have said it many time – a weak leader with unsatiable desire to cling to power, will become more cruelt. This is apparently the case with the leaders of current government.
It is not wise for DSA to put his full trust on the government gurantee of his safety. He must remember that he was once beaten to near-death by none other than the Inspector General of Police. Will you put your trust to another one again?
A Muslim will never allowed himself to be trapped in the same trap twice. This the advice of our beloved Propeht (Pbuh). Take it without question. Take it with faith.
DSA, it is worth to think for the worse, not because we are coward but to exhaust our ikhtiar is somthing that must be done before we put our full tawakkal to Allah.
This evil government is conspiring to detain you and this time the conspirators will make sure that you are knocked down to death and perhaps then put the blaim on you – you kill youself. “DS committed suicide” is going to be the healine the next morning.

Well the Sabah MPs now have to wait & see too. What if the allegations stick? The goose will be cooked.
The Sept 18th target date is now more distant.
The boy moved easily, too easily, first to Najib’s office, then he quit and moved to Anwar’s office. I believe there are other plants in Anwar’s office too – geraniums, potted ones, leafy ones etc. This is not the only plant. They are not that dumb.
Some reports say the Police Report was made at Travers. Others say at the GH Pondok Polis. Yang mana satu?
Anwar said it is the AG and the IGP. Wan Azizah said it was ‘obvious’ after showing pictures of the boy outside Najib’s office, with Shahrir, Azalina and Tokpa. Who is closer to the truth Anwar or Wan Azizah? Is it the IGP and AG or the Ministers? Anwar and Wan Azizah should exchange notes and streamline their answers.
They both forgot to mention Badawi or Mahathir.
The boy is a character. He is only 23. Yet he got jobs at the offices of both the PMs in waiting. The Blogs say he alleges being sodomised eight times but made the Police reprt when the acts got too out of hand. Dont know what that means. But if he had been sodomised eight times, he may have had a headache the ninth and last time around. Hence the complaint of being ‘forced upon’. That would explain how 61 years of age overcame 23 years of ‘unwillingness’.
Few have the capacity to ‘scheme’ up something like this. What if it is true?
Anwar was asked to leave the hospitality of the Turks today at 6.45pm. The PKR boys said the Turks agreed to receive him. This is not true. He parked himself there.
His ‘running away to save himself from assasination’ story does not hold water. When and where was the death threat received? Why not make it known earlier? Dont tell us the death threat was received AFTER the boy made the allegations day before?
Werent there any death threats immediately after Anwar said that he will be forming the Govt on Sept 18? Why didnt Anwar or Wan Azizah tell us about these death threats then?
This is not 1998. No one is rioting in the streets. Even the BN guys are just sitting back and laughing at this. Syed Hamid says Anwar is just pretending.
The Sept 18 date is now very difficult. The Americans and Brits will also be putting some distance too. Their cheques will become rubbber too. However this came to be, it was a stroke of genius.
To conclude : In this episode Anwar’s real character comes thru again.

ANWAR THE GREAT BOLLYWOOD ACTOR!
One interesting outcome from this latest ‘bontot’ event is the cleverness of Anwar in diverting the criminal case against him. Anwar is known for his dramatisation of events, if he wants something or trying to get out of the mud.
Remember the Baling case during his student days? Or the last trial – remember his arsenic poisoning? Remember his complaint about his back pain? Remember his dog collar always stuck on his neck when he went to courts? Remember he moved about on wheel chair? Now no back pain or neck pain. So fast got cured!
Now the truth has come out, he went to the Turkish Embassy uninvited said the Turkish Ambassador. He just deposited himself there to get international attention. He got many friends outside Malaysia, who will believe him and will raise their concerns. That’s what Anwar wants.
By the way, who wants to kill him? if that is the case, he has been assassinated a long time ago! Even before the opposition could win many state governments in the last elections. Anwar is best described as the great Hindustani or Bollywood actor. Pity his wife Azizah, she has to defend Anwar because he is her husband although she knows Anwar inside out.

DSAI is about to claim the “crown”. After spending time in prison, got beaten and humilated, would he sacrificed that short moment of pleasure.
If indeed, he has homosexual tendency, it would be safer for him to do it overseas where same sex relationship like here in UK, is legal.
Saiful, as claimed by his classmates, is just another ambitious young man in a hurry to build a Zakaria Deros mansion by becoming a traitor to his race, religion and country.

All these scenarios point to one thing; Malaysia is now a hopeless country with Mahatir, the Indian, who twisted the minds of the people and brainwashed them to what they are today.
We have a demon amongst us and will never improve until he has been locked up and removed from scene.
All the woes pointed to him and the sufferings and mismanagemnets are evidents of his misuse of power to enrich himself and his cronies.
His blog, his praises in his wn blog, his rantings… all designed to cover his own “TAIL”.
To me, if you can’t get rid of this demon, no remedy will be effective. There is just no way to start!
Think about it.

It seems on the surface it is like most leaders are relax and not opening a move of confrontation or a resistance toward Anwar Ibrahim nearing PutraJaya and to become the sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Yet, under the surface a move to damage Anwar Ibrahim has been carried out. One so clear is a blog dedicated solely to expose Anwar Ibrahim. An observer can read postings at this blog, and surely one can know who is at the behind.

Biggest joke is the claim that AI sodomised a 50-year old Pakistani. Which gay man out there would want to sodomise a wrinkled old man when there are young good-looking boys everywhere? These guys can’t even tell a lie properly! It’s just total incompetence!

Syabas MamakKutty! You are alive and well enough to remember so many things which you did not during the Lingamgate trials because of AMNESIA.
You have been the scourge of this beautiful land for 22 long years. You raped the land and screwed the rakyat ruthlessly for your family, cronies and your insatiable EGO.
What your devious mind came up about 10 years ago has once again found root in some corrupt and ambitious politicians who you have been nurturing all this while.
The rakyat is suffering because of your inept management of the resources of the country. We would have been better off today if you had not squandered the billions of Petronas revenue on your megalomanic projects. We do not deny that we have the Twin Towers, the KLIA, the Sepang F1 circuit, Proton – the producer of overpriced junk, the super highways that enrich your cronies and other grand projects that do not really benefit the rakyat. Oh, forgot to mention your crooked scenic bridge that can only germinate in a warped up senile mind.
The scenario that you concocted 10 years ago is about to be staged. You can pat yourself and take the front seat to enjoy it and give your two sen worth.
People will kiss your arse in your blog and sing praises but don’t expect that from citizens who have been suffering because of you.

PUTERA KINABALU,
I ingat otak u senting sikit.
FAHAM TAK ?
MR>CANDLE just to remind u i have dream in PP.

Has Saiful become a tool for reindoctrination process.
After the last GE I am sure many would have seen the magnitude of supporters in all states. With his the appearance the crowd get worked up with cheers and barely 15 minutes of his presence, an amount of $10,000/- was collected.(Batu Berendam) This showed his popularity. Even with the passing of the GE he is much talked about and the hopes he has given to the raayat to rid the evils of the cronies of BN and umno.
In comparing with the PM who made a visit to Malacca recently to launch his Hadhari, it was seen as nothing but a pasar malam affair. What a joke wasting my time driving 100km.
With the support base he(DSAI) now has, don’t you think there is no fear within the circles of BN and their cronies. Of course they fear and the only way to do it is to smear his name and to confuse and undermine the raayat support to DSAI.
In making a police report, it is then seen to be officially the truth and this would further destabilize and demoralize the confidence of the raayat.
When there is a certain level of wavering being detected, further reindoctrination of the raayat takes place and the MSM here would play their dirty part to deflect the loyalty away from DSAI. Meanwhile Pakatan states leaders are being closely watched on their personal and state matters which can be further exploited to create mistrust.
One cannot under rate BN and umno abilities in these respect as they have the experience and appratus to do achieve their goal. Now it depends upon the police findings, whether they are biased or not?? If they are opinionated in their finding, it may destroy the confidence of DSAI supporters.
The sodomy play is only a part of a political maneuver.
Pakatan leaders must tread finely both in personal and in state matters.

siamangagap belittles and dismisses Anwar’s back ailment dengan begitu sahaja. But he speaks of what he does not know. The man is in much pain and always wears a back support under his shirt. Don’t talk so confidently and authoritatively when you are plain ignorant. Also, when you receive threats to your life you never just blurt it out. Where will Anwar go to with evidence of these threats? The police? Blogs give us space and opportunity to make comments. But unfortunately many like siamangagap just dishes out their ignorance and abuses the free space. Get your facts right or just stick to things and persons you know!

DSAI is more acceptable world wide as compared to the present BN cabinet ministers. Most of them are tainted and have no choice but to tinge DSAI abit.
Looking at the present BN clowns of lineup and comparing with those within Pakatan, who do you think is worth leading the nation. I would have punctured the barrel to find one within BN who is worth sitting up there as PM or shall I say scrachting my arse (not my head) to find one. Should one be found he smells like my arse and the whole nation would be stinking.
The best bet is still on DSAI and Pakatan leaders to lead the nation as refelcted in the GE manifesto. They are walking the manifesto and when one takes a walk the road is never straight but he will finish the walk.
Back to DSAI, he is a thorn to them. Well we have lesbian, c4, sleepy, kerismuddin, mamak, Ox, molester and certainly they must give DSAI a name as the last time they tried and failed.

If what Saiful reported to the police is true, he must have enjoyed the butt**** the first few times, hence his staying on for more. Anyone in his right mind would have vamoosed the first time and made a report. Why stay on so long?

“he went to the Turkish Embassy uninvited said the Turkish Ambassador.”
It is diplomacy that the Turkish Ambassador has to say what the malaysian minister wants him to say. It is the norm. Even if the Ambassador has invited DSAI, he cannot say it otherwise it will be seen as intefering in the State affairs.
If any statement has to be made, the Tukey’s government will have to do it after receiving a report from their ambassy. Well US has made their comments.

The authors of this letter as posted here:
articulated my thoughts. Human rights include gay rights.
Whether Anwar did it or not is secondary. If it did happen, and if the guy consented to it (how else could a 60-year old man overcome a 23-year old) what’s all the fuss about? I know it’s against our law. But shouldn’t we question the existence of such laws?

That, scout, is totally beside the point here. DSAI has come out openly to deny that he is a ‘man-lover’ and that he has been framed. Thus far, everything is pointing towards him telling the truth, and everything is pointing towards the UMNO/BN monkeys telling lies upon lies. It is not about whether or not it is okay for a man to have sexual relationship with another man here, it is about DSAI claiming that he is not involved in such activities. Someone is telling lies – no two ways about it.
