Got a call from Zorro a little while ago to say that Captain Yusof passed away this morning.
Checked with OBE who informed me that Cap passed away in his sleep.
Cap, who last Tuesday lost his mum, was probably the most knowledgeable blogger on the PKFZ scandal.
Farewell, bro.

Though I have not had the pleasure to meet him, his blogs must have been indicative of his being. The Captain was a true gentleman.
He is now at peace, probably down at Davy Jones locker to find the ancient marine treasures that elude all sea-farers.
Condolences to the family and may he rest in peace.

I’m so sad to hear this. I visited his blog often, and last year, he suddenly popped into mine to wish me ‘merry christmas’. That was so sweet of him. But, I think that is just what a was: a really sweet man, with nothing to hide, and a deep love for his country, and a wish to see it do well.
May his soul rest in peace.

Salam Haris,
This is from Aisyah (Capt’s daughter). She left it on my blog:
“Dear All,
On behalf of my family, thank you for your kind words and wishes. We’re not sure how to contact all his friends, so hope this will reach some, if not most.
There will be a Tahlil tonight after Isyak prayers at Surau An Nai’mah next to our residence at Tiara Kelana Condo in SS 7 Kelana Jaya. It would mean a lot to us if you could attend.
Thank you.
Aisyah Yusof (Captain’s daughter)”
