That’s how every fairy tale I’ve read ends.
A load of crap, followed by a happy ending.
PKR Sec-Gen Saifudin would have us believe that this whole fiasco of bringing charges against the 12 Sabah PKR leaders was about maintaining party discipline and nothing else.
And after that, he would also have us believe, like in those fairy tales, all will be well in PKR again.
Malaysiakini reports him saying that the “party’s supreme council was prepared to expedite the appeal process so as not to prejudice the 12’s involvement in the party elections later this year”.
Would Saifudin swallow it if Najib explained that Anwar’s Sodomy II trial is being expedited in the hope that by the time he serves his term of imprisonment and waits out his disqualification period of thereafter, he will be eligible to contest in the 14th GE?
If he won’t , he should not expect us to swallow the baloney that he is dishing out.

A lot more Baloney is being served at PKR right now, and Najib is building up his appetite. Seems like the chef is no other than umno’s appointee, who has been a “sleeper” and recently awoken in time to cook up a storm, such as the most delicious “Dirty Dozen Roast” and the “Sand-Miners Chowder”.

Whoa Haris! I’m not too happy with the going-ons in PR and the rest of the components, especially PKR, but now is not the time when those we oppose are still calling the shots. Is it time to condemn our vehicle because of a few faulty wheels when our journey is not yet complete?
Do you have a better vehicle for us to climb aboard? Without having to build up the entire vehicle from scratch?
Sorry for saying the above but I still remember what you told me about the sacrifices you made for a better Malaysia when I met you last in Penang. I still remember telling you about my personal fears but you told me to choose, one way or the other. You said that the situation warrants it.
I did choose. I chose to support the PR despite all their shortcomings because I believe that they offer the best hope to put UMNO/BN out of power, not necessarily be the best to govern over us.
At that time, you didn’t even have an idea how you wanted to behave except for ordinary Malaysians to rise up. They did rise up and make the choices available to them. And now you want them to rethink again?
I chose to fight the greater of two evils hence I’m slightly confused with where you are coming from with this recent crusade?
Please, please, please, don’t get me wrong. I have the utmost respect for you and I would never be able to make the same sacrifices you had made. But like you, all I want is a better Malaysia.
So why destroy the vehicle which we both need? We can always “debate” with each other after we get to Putrajaya.
BUT FIRST WE MUST GET THERE!!!

We cannot get THERE lugging a whole load of ex-UMNO, still UMNO baggage.
Let us not get rid of UMNO and still saddled with another version of UMNO.
The ‘forced’ PKR MPs press conference is a good case in point. There is plenty of UMNO to be rid off among the leaders of PKR.
Unless we ensure that we will not be sure that we will arrive THERE with a brand-new Govt or more of the same.

Romerz, you said “Please, please, please, don’t get me wrong. I have the utmost respect for you and I would never be able to make the same sacrifices you had made. But like you, all I want is a better Malaysia”. Now I think for myself why are you so afraid and fearful to offend Harris because you have an opinion? Is he GOD or the soothsayer? If you do something that is conscious and truthful, why the fear? I think you have lost the plot bro. Harris this is the problem with your commentors alike RPK, they are artifical idealistic souls in their own backyard, when push come to shove, they run into their own coconut shell with self justification that only heeds for themselves not for the community in action. Seriously Bro, I don’t know how you manage them.

@MYinNY – I don’t think saying ‘don’t get me wrong’ or ‘please’ is a demonstration of moral or political cowardice. There is a tendency in all opposition movements to show ‘ultra loyalty’ and hold only ‘politically correct’ views. Haris does not to this and is prepared to show his independence. Romerz is merely asking him to reflect on the political and electoral realities. What gives the best chance for change? The ‘push coming to shove’ is all about pushing for voter registration and shoving people to vote. How they vote will be influenced by how political discourse is conducted and whether there is a clear enough alternative to 53 years of misrule.

I agree with Lightstuff, different people have different way of expressing themselves and approach to any matter.
There are people who are fearless and opinionated and insensitive even to disagree with anyone and say their piece without any regard of offending people.
Some people are more sensitive and just not used to disagreeing with people, especially those they respect, so they do it politely and explain their stance.
Nothing wrong with that.
“Please, please, please, don’t get me wrong. I have the utmost respect for you and I would never be able to make the same sacrifices you had made. But like you, all I want is a better Malaysia”
HOW IS THAT COWARDICE??!!

I have a dream which is similar to yours.
Then I had a nightmare. My nightmare is that as u say, a new vehicle was chosen for Putrajaya. They get there, and then do a “SABAH” on us. One after another the frogs jumped.
Unfortunately the other vehicle no longer carries the same members. Some of them, say the Movement, the 2 M’s have gotten off or thrown out of the moving vehicle.
Now a whole new creature comes to power.
Not my PM of choice, Najib.
Not the popular PM of choice, Nwar or Zed or Ku Li
But some “V” creature, a new Anna becomes the PM (not necessarily female).
Right now the damage has to be repaired. Like Christchurch, several buildings need the facade repaired, some buildings need to be gutted and rebuilt, some buildings need to be patched up. Nwar has said that he is doing that in Sabah & Sarawak. So lets monitor them but leave them to finish doing their renovation work.

Have the courage not to adopt another’s courage. There is scope and cause and resistance enough for us in our proper work and circumstance. Let’s not BS and talk endlessly what, how it should be. We are taught by great actions that the universe is the property of every individual in it, so how? Will you rise at least in malaysia my dear arm chair critics?

Dear Haris,No amount of wishfull thinking can erase the facts that are confronting us.Pkr have their double standards with the 12 and dap uncaringly proceed with mob’s justice[In spite of appeal]over Tee Boon Hock’s sacking.
Knowing for certain where pr is heading,a third force mooted by you should be set in motion NOW.

Heads must roll!… UMNO cleansing in PKR, otherwise, we will have an “UMNO C” running PR. What is emerging now in PKR does not give a promising picture…. just a bunch of Ex-UMNO goons having their own agenda…are we, the rakyat who fought so hard trying to put the Opposition as an alternative govt be made suckers by these UMNO remnants in PKR?

What can we do? PKR finally showed their true face on races. I thought finally Anwar Ibrahim is here to save us from racism. It’s sad that they want to divide Sabah to Muslim vs. non-Muslim. My friends from Sabah and Sarawak always blame us “semenanjung” folks for exporting racism to their states.
