Malaysia Day, last year, we launched the SABM sampan.
This 16th September, we’d like to share with you some of the journeys we’ve made in that humble sampan.
And how you can be a part of that journey this year as we continue to work to make this, our home, a better place for all.
Personally, it has been an enriching experience.
I’m more convinced than ever that Malaysians generally are a decent lot and generally get along well with one another, notwithstanding some very ugly things that are said and done by people with an ugly agenda.
There’s hope.
Hope to see you all at Rumah Anak Bangsa Malaysia next Thursday.

I have a problem hearing ‘sorry’ once a year and without revealing on what occasion were you sorry about. I wrote about it in my Bahasa http://padi-malaysia.blogspot.com
And what does it mean ‘Zahir and Batin”? Outward and Inward is heavy stuff. You better reveal to me what wrong you did me all this while. 🙂

Time’s always giving us a chance for remembering, hoping and wishing, all good things for our country.
A year ago, we were given another opportunity to make the same wish….when SABM was launched on the 16th of Sept.
A year on, our hearty thanks, go to SABM for having shown that given the spirit, Malaysians can come together to talk about change, to align themselves to the issues affecting the country and showing the will power and love, to hold on to a good cause.
In order to achieve success.
I dare say some of us have even got used to having a second home…a home where the fires of the Spirit are kept warm and burning. I mean to say, it is Rumah Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia.
To Haris & Co….the working lot, the happy band of brothers (including the gals!)you’ve done and keep doing so well. Sail away, Sampan SABM!!
And God bless all who sail in you!

Selamat Hari Raya to all our muslim friends in SABM and thank you so much for all your hard work, dedication and conviction that we are all but one big family regardless of our race, colour or creed.
Wish SABM a happy birthday on 16th Sept, the day Sarawak and Sabah came together to form Malaysia.
Wow our beloved SABM shares the nation’s birthday!
We in Sarawak had been hoodwinked into thinking (more like we are forced to accept 31st August)that Malaysia day is not 16 Sept. Even our local BN politicians played along with K.L as if we were ALL stupid! Shame on them for twisting this fact in history which is clear as day light. Even our brave PR Padungan assemblyman Mr Dominic Ng and friends/colleagues got arrested at the Merdeka Padang for raising the flag and singing Negarku on 16 Sept. on Sarawak soil! Shame on BN/SUPP, PBB etc
And as if by some miracle, months later 16 Sept became Malaysia day.
Indeed it is the work of esteemed organisations such as yours, supported by the rakyat, that we are able to CAUSE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER IN OUR BELOVED COUNTRY.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SELFLESS SACRIFICES ALL YEAR ROUND. I WAS AT YOUR FIRST ROAD SHOW IN HARBOUR VIEW, KUCHING. I can remember the huge surging and anticipating crowd, eager to hear and share your perspectives. It was a roaring success because it ran into overtime! The crowd remained even after after refreshment when in most cases, most will just go home after their fill of food. In fact, I noticed more people still came in during the break.
Let’s all be united in one voice, as one race, as one country for change for the better. Wishing SABM all the best and every success in your good work. May you grow from strength to strength
