This is so, so funny, I just had to share it with all of you.
FMT reports that KL CPO Mohmad Salleh denied that cops who were present at Dataran early this morning allowed the thugs to run riot without taking any action.
To make his case, he laments that ‘two of our own plainclothes detectives were injured, so it is not right to say that the police did not act’.
I got an sms round about 5.30am this morning from one of the student leaders at Dataran, informing me about the attack.
I got to Dataran around 6.15am and managed to speak to some of the occupiers there, many of whom narrated to me how those cops got clobbered.
Quite simple, actually.
In the ensuing melee, they were mistaken for occupiers by the marauding thugs and got thumped.
Now what does this tell you?
Either those low life thugs have tungsten b@#$s or, obviously, these coppers made no effort to identify themselves to the thugs as officers of the law.
And how, one wonders, were they attempting to keep the peace if they did not identify themselves to the thugs as officers of the law?
So the one hoodlum got nicked because he bashed a cop or two.
Now, if he had not done this dastardly deed….
This CPO fella is real funny.
Asked why only 1 thug got picked up, he responded that “it was early in the morning and we could not differentiate between the attackers and those already there”.
You only need to view the video and you can tell one group from the other!

I couldn’t tell one group from another in the video. And I didn’t see any serious fighting in the video. Maybe I saw a different video…

korek! korek! korek! maybe the video is doctored. it looks like a scene from dataran merdeka, it feels like a scene from dataran merdeka, it even sound like a scene of dataran merdeka…but it need not neccesarily be dataran merdeka. Its bolehwood show.
When cops stood by for thugs to run amok, this 1country is really going down the sewer.

Yes, Bro.Haris, This whole thing is so-o Funny, because if Policemen, who are Selected from thousands of Appplicants, with basic minimum academic qualifications, height, weight, etc; then undergo intensive training at Pulapol, cannot, or don’t know how to defend themselves against ‘thugs’, then what chance do we ordinary mortals have against the so called ‘thugs’?
We must recall that the Police beat base in Chow Kit area, was closed because the Police
personnel feared for their own safety!…that indeed was the official reason given!
Could this be the reason why the Police do not ‘Ronda’ as often as they should in many areas?

Good police work done by PRDM, as seen from the video. Forgive KL CPO Mohmad Salleh, he is merely showing his IQ level 4 all to see. He is just doing his daily work 4 UMNO. UMNO thugs can do anything in Bolehland n the PRDM will just watch. Change the Govt in GE13. ABU !!! Meanwhile our PAKATAN RAKYAT leaders must visit the Occupy Dataran students to show moral support. Give a joint press conference on UMNO thugs attacking peaceful students n call 4 an RCI on why the police acted shamelessly helpless. Go 4 change in GE13 n change the PRDM after that to work 4 the rakyat n not 4 UMNO.

Assault on police officer can be classified as a felony – very serious. How come the thugs were not charged?

Me thinks the thugs were actually plain clothed policemen under UMNO’s payroll. I also think the cops had prior knowledge of the attack. Come on, we are talking about Police diRaja UMNO.

Are the thugs only from UMNO/Perkasa/Perkida? There is a pattern of thuggery, ranging from the disruption of ABU-Hindraf meeting in Shah Alam to the disruption of the Green assembly in Penang by pro-Lynas thugs, to now anti-student attacks. their tactics is also the same – tight closed formation by heavy-weights and super-heavy weights, such as one of crowd control- and-arrest method employed by riot police, coupled with loud-mouth threats and very rough shoving and an occasional punch or two or crash helmet blows. The same tactics was applied at Kampung Kerinchi too. This method can only flow out of police training
