Yesterday morning, the NGO gathering,‘Himpunan Barisan 1Malaysia’ at the Putra World Trade organised by the UMNO “information secretariat and the Umno Overseas Club alumni” at a cost of “less than RM500,000” and sponsored by the government and other organisations took off.
Malaysiakini has the report HERE.
“The goodie bags handed out to the members of the 1,500-odd NGOs participating also included a notebook by the Umno Overseas Club alumni organisation, plus leaflets on the 1Malaysia concept”, Malaysiakini reports.
Presumably, a grand lunch was thrown in.
Maybe even transport, to and fro.
A few hours later, around 2pm, about 2,000 anak bangsa Malaysia joined the Green Marchers to march from the Gombak Toll to the Markas PAS in Taman Melewar.
They found their own way there.
No air-conditioned PWTC hall.
No food.
No goodie bags.
Can not Najib, UMNO and BN see the writing on the wall?

NOT SEE? They DON’T WANT TO SEE!
Its simply surreal to see Najib & UMNO spout the nonsense SNOOZE-FEST again and again these days WHEN Anwar and other PR leaders are just gathering bigger and bigger crowd of people sit up, listen and excited..When people turn up to hear Khalid Ibrahim speaks (with due respect, not the best orator among them) and cheer, the writing should tell them the problem is THEM..
Everyone biggest fear is that Najib & UMNO/BN has a cheating plan that makes the TRUTH irrelevant..What reassures some of us is that Najib & the sycophants don’t appear to look all that confident especially as their bluster keep getting louder..You really detect nervousness all around without admitting it to each other in UMNO/BN..
But who knows? Lets hope there really is nervousness because the alternative is horrifying even a nightmare if their confidence based on fraud is real…

Najib Razak need not have to show, even if he gets it, afterall his aim is to stay in power with their help. All he needs is to throw some pittance and crumbs at them and they’ll be so eternally grateful to him! Think they’ll bother if that Fat Butt orders another blue-diamond!
Pathetic, huh? You tell me, what has gone wrong with this lot – poverty, education or up-bringing? …pity or blame their parents?

There are two realities at play, one that we in the opposition see and the other which is hidden from us. From his body language and arrogance displayed I believe he has something up his sleeve. Apart from full scale cheating using instant citizens and phantom voters, buying votes with rakyat’s money, using questionable postal votes and gerymandering, I think he has other corrupt means to remain in power. Unless there is a sizeable swing toward Pakatan, he would most lightly win but with less than two-third majority. We should work harder if we want a better futher for our coming generations.

On a lighter side of the picture at the 1something gathering.
The three ladies with the mocking smile means that they are saying ‘ you bunch of anti gov ppl,
why dont you attend this function, collect your door gifts, ang pow, allowances, eat full full, collect your notebook and then vote pas .Why so bodoh one ah she seems to think.Anyway, what can she do to convert goodwill to votes. Zilch !
The one in pink seems pregnant, besides the one in orange seems to be reconciling her profit and loss account on attending.I assume she would have been promised say, rm200 but given rm50 less commission to the lead brat.a dell notebook but instead given toshiba less mark up and the difference goes to ‘direct tender’ winner, a leather briefcase but given a pvc one imported from petaling street, and may be fussing about her ride that is promised a tour bus ride but landed in a school bus ,the difference pocketted by the ‘crowd gatherer semut.

The ground is moving more rapid and consistently. The Rakyat feel there is more than 5 reasons why a majority mandate should not be awarded to UMPORNO. In fact, none at all. We realize now that every policies and transformation programme of their has only one thing in their mind, how much can the minister/s “songlap” from each of them.
And while the ‘Green March’ was going on, last night the sneaked into Gebeng some 100 containers of rare earth from Kelantan Port under heavy Police escorts.

>20K at the end. Its freaking amazing actually.
Complete blackout of the news on TV tonight – Sure sign lots people running around very worried. AND just before UMNO GA..Expect a bunch of rhetorics which I think they were trying to avoid..
Hindraf in 2008 was not that much bigger. THIS is all calm, thinking people. After Anwar and Mat Sabu get through whipping the others into a frenzy, this is much much worst..

1Malaysia is still a concept, & still needs explaining, in short it’s bull….!! … These green marchers are Malaysians in motion, no need for rhetoric, no need for free goodies, no free lunches, all willingly pay & make their own way towards a common cause.
Now we know why that Al-Cheapo is scared to call for elections…

It’s becos Najib, UMNO and all BN are living in DENIAL ! In denial to all that’s happening on the ground. Denial that the rakyat are happy with what little they have while they have everything and living a fat happy life. Denial that the rakyat knows nothing about the mega scandals and are not living in “real” time.
Whatever the size of the protest bigjoe99, the massage is clear and staring at the government though if you’ve been to all other protest you’ll have to admit Hindraf was bigger and Bersih3 the biggest becos the protesters were converging from different locations into the city. Nevertheless the voice of the rakyat is screaming for attention and it is falling on ears that are deaf and in denial.
ABU. ABU. ABU is the answer ! Cheers to all who walked the talk.

Its true there is a big element of living in denial especially Najib. He is backed against the wall in the eleventh hour, big vote blocks crucial and what does he do? He goes in front of urban women, his position as women’s minister questionable for a while now, with cloud hanging over him for murder of Altantuya, his infamous wife hated by many, AND his own father on record calling him a womaniser – and pitch for their vote..
If its just denial, then its actually good – but the fear is its something else – all hell will break loose otherwise..

What was to be a one man’s journey but culminated in the hearts of thousands of Malaysians along the way who shared his view and journeyed with him. Every step that these brave Malaysians took in that 300KM over is a step for every Anak Bangsa Malaysia who cherish the hopes for a better Malaysia. Sadly, the government isn’t listening!
I have had the honor to meet up with Mr. Wong in Dataran earlier and congratulated him on his mission. Many are touched by his determination and I can feel the pulse of the nation within me. Yes, the people have spoken yet again today!

Taikohtai, Yes, it did happen 20 years ago – Bukit Merah – Ipoh, remember? But because there was no internet then and definitely no People’s Parliament Blog, news were suppressed, media pressured and reporters got fired, leaving Malaysians were all in the dark. I knew of someone who led the Bukit Merah demonstration/protests; he was hauled in and not treated too kindly by our mata-mata, trying to silence him!

Apa guna menabur padi, kalau hanya sebutir saja, apa guna kata kami dah ubah, kalau hanya dibibir saja. slightly modified from the late Datuk Zubir Ali song.
Sincererity is the magic most probably lacking in BN leadership. With an army of cyber troopers, probably paid for from government fund or through corruptly accepted money, headed no less than a clown called RPK, must have convince BN dunggus that esok masih ada.
BN, tiada esok bagi mu. Enough. Change. ABU

It is tragically ironic that the Malaysian government go out of their way to accommodate a foreign company that will churn out toxic waste, while they treat their own citizens like dirt at Independent Square. Malaysia…I cry for you !

I believe you are one of the many good Australians Downunder who have taken notice of the plights of the citizens in this country and the way they are being treated by their government. Would you be concerned enough to help us take this fight to the Australian Government and ask them to tell LYNAS to go f*** with their own kangaroo and spare us the agony!? The lives of Malaysian are no lesser to that of the Australian themselves.

Australian….you fail to take into account the faith and the fire that is in every Malaysian, at this very moment to believe earnestly in freedom of thought and their right to demand, to live in a healthy environment.
Most importantly ….they think of the children, who are going to be inheritors of this country.
.
Malaysians do not want to be underlings anymore……quite correct too.that.. we do not want to be treated like dirt and shit.
No, Malaysians are proving to be masters of their future, slowly but surely. And the huge movements of anxious Malaysians yesterday was to protest and to say, in as loud a voice as possible, that they have lost their trust and confidence in their government
