Whilst on the one hand castigating Musa Hassan’s allegation of ministerial interference in the police force during his tenure as IGP as a big lie, Home Minister Hishammuddin seems more taken up with the timing of these revelations by the ex-IGP.
“The most important thing is that we need to look forward in a constructive way. What was said about the interference happened during the former IGP’s time and I was also the minister then. So, why raise the issue only now?” . Malaysiakini reports Hisham as saying.
I got the following email yesterday.
“Bro, pc musa hassan pd 10hb disember bermula lepas pukul 2 petang. Tapi rockbru dah blog pasalnya pukul 1.23 petang. Pelik, kan?”.
He also attached a screenshot of the time stamp of Rockybru’s post in question.
Click on the screen shot and it will take you to the post in question.
Yes, the time stamp is indeed 1.23pm.
I checked with 2 reporters who were present at the press conference referred to in the email above as well as in Rockybru’s post.
Both confirmed that the press conference commenced after 2.30pm.
One of them offered another interesting bit of info : a prominent Indian connected to Dr M was seen lurking around the press conference venue.
So, on the face of it, at least, Rockybru blogs about a press conference that hasn’t yet happened.
Well, maybe he has a perfectly sane explanation.

I think Rocky had mentioned something about having had lunch with Musa and that his was an intimate conversation between old friends and that it was not from a PC that he had got his intuition from.

Rocky is a “has been”, trying to stay relevant, his grasp of issues are poor, to say the least, and he is NOT a good thinker or strategist. He may be a good administrator in the media, but that is it. BN brought him on, to lead a group of cyber troopers, but lead, is the last thing he did. Najib recommended him for a Datukship, but he owes his loyalty to Mahathir, that tells you the kind of person he is.
Rocky and Syed Akhbar Ali are alike, in that they owe their undivided loyalty to Mahathir, anything Mahathir does, is only good, and nothing else. Even after they have found to have been wrong about Mahathir’s intentions, they still refuse to apologise, but continue as if they were right in their assessment.
SAA and Rocky read every comment that they post, and only the ones’ that make them seem intelligent, or agrees with them, goes through, the ones’ that prove that they are lying, with facts, or those that prove their articles are wrong, and want to engage them in a discussion, are conveniently deleted, and doesn’t see the light if day. Half baked individuals, they are.
I would love to see Rocky answer this one. No doubt he will have an explanation, but that I bet that it would weave around like a rattan basket, it is not likely to be a direct response.

Can’t say I agree with you entirely, “Ernest Mason”.
Perhaps you know him better, but from what I recall, years ago, shortly after he unceremoniously left Malay Mail, Rocky seemed to have shown that he was at least a reasonable thinker, and had a good grasp of issues.
In his current rehabilitated UMNO uber-blogger and New Media unit leader, he has shown a different persona. One which may seem to justify your “has been”… “trying to stay relevant”… poor grasp of issues… not a good thinker.
But I would not be surprised if that is what it SEEMS.
Just like how a certain ex-PM of 22+ years can SEEM to be senile and forgetful (especially when called to recall certain thorny issues). But those who believe that of the “Devil we know” would soon rue their error.
Expediency often dictates that one may seem to appear to be what one is not. Especially when many pieces of silver and very juicy perks are at stake.

KT WONG,
I did say that Rocky is a “has been”, meaning he WAS something before, seems ages, and ages ago, I mean one can’t take that credit away from him, he HAD a good track record. But that was before he “sold” his pen to people who have no back bone at all. That is a choice he made, and he got a few things in return, Datukship included, and to him, that might be considered a gain, or at least a no loss situation.
I know Rocky since his days in the old malay mail, I think he was a sports writer then, if I am not mistaken, but I doubt he will know me now.
The Rocky, of even a few years ago, is a different Rocky, now. He has lost his ideals, his vision, his principles, etc. That is just my opinion, I don’t necessary have to be right.
The trouble is, like Rocky, Syed Akhbar Ali, the BN cyber troppers, etc., DO NOT espouse their own thoughts, ideas and ideals, they exist as BN propaganda machines, espousing the lies that BN wants them to. You just have to look at SAA’s blog, exists as Mahathir biggest support vehicle, biased, prejudiced, full of hatred for the christians, and managed by the comments he allows on his blog. I suspect that most of the comments idolising him, are posted by himself. That is an old trick people with little else to show, do.
I know BN cyber troppers do not believe in what they write, as their personal lives and the way they live it, is quite decent, and good family men too. But alas, they have sold their pens, to BN, and it’s where they will belong. Rocky has a Datukship, Syed sits on a few committees’ here and there, and that is all it takes to takes for Syed to sell his soul. A pittance.
Yes Sir, I like the word you used, “expediency”, that is an appropiate description.
As for the ‘former PM’, he is a loser, and real sore one at that, with a selective loss of memory, but the BN cyber troppers keep his memory alive, as they are on his personal payroll too.
One has to look at some of the IPP agreements, the toll agreements, and a host of others’, to know how evil he is.
Ever wondered how he travels, believe me, it’s by private jets, provided and paid for by his cronies, whom he has made wealthy, at public cost, always with one or two doctors, UTK personnel, and a host of other staff, at public, read as OUR, cost of course. Nothing wrong with all these, as former PM’s are entitled to these benefits, as even the former Presidents of the USA have secret service protection too, but why hide these entitlements from the public, as we are the ones paying for it. The difference is, in the US the public IS TOLD of the expenses incurred by, and spent on, the former Presidents, indeed it is common knowledge, and the expenses incurred by these former Presidents are in the public domain. The same applies to former British PM’s.
it’s BN secrecy all the way. They live UP, on our money.

Yeah, I think we are in agreement. Tools and pawns of the Devil we know. Sad eh?
Hope they can live with their decisions to do what they are doing, aiding and abetting the continued,or rather effort to try to ensure the continued ruining of the nation in so many ways.

BN cybertroopers want to have their cake and eat it……whoever thinks a datuship is his crowning glory is a mere slave…someone who doesn’t think twice about losing his soul and dignity, when the title is bestowed through the back door and not for hard work and honest gallantry
Decent persons are those who will even be prepared to die for their own causes. They are the champions, amongst us ….their convictions would be unshakeable, they would believe in their own good sense, their moral strength, and they’d go to great lengths to pass on a proud legacy…..to others and to their precious children.

This is another evidence that Musa Hassan (and the carpetman by extension) is the work of UMNO.
