Hi Haris,
I read the English version….the message is clear, to the point and injected with some humour….that’s good.
Since the comic is going to reach far and wide, it would be good to clean up the grammatical errors…pretty glaring.
I am sure there are some “word smiths” in the ABU team 🙂

I am not so sure about this. It is written in colloquail English complete with local slang, and most people will get the gist of what it means.

I think there’s a typo on pg. 5. Isn’t it supposed to be “I know if I don’t listen..”? The “don’t” is missing.

I have just downloaded the PDF pages, and there appears to be a legibility problem. The type face used is compressed and looks smudged – a lighter and more legible one might make it more readable.

Perhaps you have opened the JPG files instead of the PDF format files? [CLICK on each image on the ABU site webpages to open the respective PDF file]
The PDF files have a zoom option. Enlarging the images yielded clear text which were not a problem to read even for me with my worn out eyes 🙂

Sorry. I did download the PDF, zoomed it to 300%, and it was still VERY smudged. In any event, people printing the PDF for distribution, will probably do so in the A4 size unless they have commercial printers do it for them.

Sorry. I should have been more precise in my comment. I was referring to the cover page – the subsequent pages were fairly readable.

Shakuntala, it’s my pleasure… my website at http://malaysiafactbook.com is also supporting ABU and Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat until after the general elections when it will turn its attention towards tourist attractions in Malaysia. Puspa Nahas makes me want to vomit. How can such a scandal ever happen and Mahathir doesn’t even make a single sound. No need to even talk about Chua Soi Lek whom we know, will look at his owner and barks accordingly.

Great contribution to the cause that will bring real changes to the country. Today is a great day, for on this day the people rise to reclaim the country from the corrupt power which has ruled us by fraud all this time. For those who can go to the rally, please go. Numbers do count. If Kuala Lumpur is flooded by a sea of people today to demand for change, then change will surely come. And future generations will remember the participants today as the heroes that have changed the course of our history.

Kim Quek….there was an Ocean of Rakyat, giving of their best Spirit……a willingness, a desire never seen before in the history of Malaysia…..it was truly Merdeka revisited.
The Rakyat have reclaimed their country…..CHANGE ….we’re seeing it now!
Many thanks to Haris and the ABU team who so gallantly cheered and encouraged us, without let up, from one corner of Malaysia, to show our renewed Spirit for our country on this historic day.
We did it, we stood together, walked, smiled, laughed, wore ourseleves to happiness together.
It was Rakyat, Rakyat everywhere, with Rakyat mixed in my path like mad!
To the cynics who want to divide the Rakyat between rich and poor, I say with heart and soul…..BOOOOOOOOO!!!!

When government corruption exceeds tolerable limits, the people will rise and this is a sign.
