It’s good to be home.
There are just too many of you to thank by name.
All of you who have been praying for Tian Chua, Thamrin and me, thank you.
Those of you who kept vigil outside the Jinjang police lock up last night and again today, thank you.
The flash mob guys and girls who hit town calling for our release, thank you.
ABU eagles, you are priceless.
My family members, thank you for being there for me.
To the team of lawyers who appeared for Tian Chua, Thamrin and me to oppose the remand application, you collectively reminded me today of why I once so loved the legal profession. Thank you, all.
Ashok, love you, bro.
Yang Arif Puan Megistret Norashikin Sahat, you gave me hope today that the judiciary may be on the mend. Thank you, Your Honour.
I also want to thank the officers of the arresting team that detained me in Segambut and the officers at the Jinjang lock-up. You were professional in discharging your duties. I want to reiterate here that our struggle for justice is as much for you and your loved ones.
Tonight, I renew my pledge to all of you to continue our struggle to return democracy to our nation.
As I go to bed tonight, my thoughts go out to all those detained at police lock ups throughout the country who will have to make do with a floor without bedding, pillow and blanket.
As we fight for justice, let us not forget them.
See you all at Amcorp tomorrow.

May God be with us. I was listening to Bon Jovi in the car. The lyrics below seem appropriate to our situation.

We will not back down
We are not afraid
Not a drop of doubt
Hand in hand across this land

It is sad that someone with the pseudonym ‘justice4ever’ could come up with such gullible comments. Wake up please! Despite all that was done by the opposition prior to GE13, BN went ahead with their election crimes and now if we give up this battle, SPR & BN will come up with far better ways to cheat in the next GE. This is not the time to chicken out and retreat. So far everything is going well with no violence of any kind and the maturity, courage & conviction of our movement will take us the rest of the way. So if you wish to back off now, please go and find something else to do and take all the cr*p that is being dished out by the BN govt. Their days are numbered and they know it.

Impossible to convince someone who thinks like “justice4ever” that chaos is exactly what we desire to emerge from back into a more conscious, more harmonious, more inclusive & wholesome level of order. Under a criminal regime like BN, the appearance of law & order is only a thin veneer – petty thieves get beaten to death by psychopaths in uniform while their political bosses can rob the land of billions’ worth of precious resources – without ever facing prosecution. In a world that;s undergoing massive changes do you honestly believe it will be busyness-as-usual for the next 5 years? And that even if we make it to 2018, the Election Commission will become impartial without any help from us? I understand your fear. Many share the same fear & distrust of radical change. Look at it this way: if one of your legs turns gangrenous, would you choose to slowly get poisoned and die? Or would you grit your teeth, pump up your courage, and go through with the prescribed amputation?

i’m not highly educated but i agree to your reply. looking at the situation in Malaysia now i don’t think we will ever win any elections in the future if those bullies in power remain unstoppable..we can’t keep on waiting for things to happen, we must make things happen for the sake of our country. how many more 5 years can we tolerate?

Civil disobedience, overthrowing the corrupted government don’t have to be violent. Mohandas Gandhi have brought the British empire to it’s knees without firing a shot. The collective conscience of the rakyat of doing what is right & honorable for the greater good for all. Don’t let fear or negativity hinder your judgement. As long as we have judges like Yang Arif Puan Megistret Norashikin Sahat in the judiciary who without fear & favor the country is on the right track on separation of power, check & balances especially
the abusive behavior of those in PDRM.

It is time to be careful. UMNO will use all sort of laws to detain you and bring you to court. If there are not enough laws, they would implement more to counter any uprising.
A fight against a government in power is an uphill task but not impossible. A fight against a dictator is much more easier, as what we have seen in middle east. Here is the difference, as UMNO has strong supporters, die hard blind partisan supporters. That would be the stumbling block. It is made even more difficult by Polis Raja Di Malaysia, whom is working hand in hand with UMNO.
I would prefer to see change through the ballot box.
Now, my first priority would be the resignation of the two top post in EC. EC is still arrogant like hell. I want to puke, whenever they make any press statement or press conference.

Thank God and very glad to hear the news of your release and that you are back home safe with your loved ones.
With His blessing, let us, the right thinking rakyat, strive to release and liberate our nation from the hands of this tyrannical regime. Am afraid the true essence of democracy is slowly being thwarted by these power crazy parasites. This country’s inherent glory and dignity must be restored.
Hope you rest well tonight, bro. Tomorrow our battle continues.

Haris, glad you are released and safe.
Justice4ever, I disagree with you. Wait for another 5 years? Even if by then with the natural process of urbanization throughout the whole country with more support for Pakatan, I can gurantee you that the results will be the same. I swear that BN will take the electoral cheatings to another level just to remain in power, it is win at all cost. Even if 60% or 70% of the “real” voters voting for Pakatan, the result will still be manipulated to show that BN win the election. Look, wake up, these BN guys need to win at all cost, if they lose, they lose their rights to corruption, they risk going to jail, so they will do whatever cheating they can to remain in power. The whole system is now screwed up, SPR is under BN control, police is under BN control, judiciary is under BN control, military is under BN control, you have no chance of changing government through electoral process unless the electoral process is completely revamped to make it clean, BUT zero chance BN will allow that to happen. These SPR will probably come out with some fake new measures for clean election.
Haris, all I can say is that I (and many Malaysians) are grateful for your selfless sacrifice to fight for justice. With people like you or Adam Adli around, you just put me to shame as I am such a coward compared to you guys. I hope all your hard work will bring more momentum and make all those cowards like me and many more Malaysians stand up to resist.

Justice4ever is akin and alike to Pol Pot workers in Kampuchea from 1975 to 1979. He will do anything the bosses ask him to do without any conscience and when things change later, he will plead his innocence because he has got a job to do then, even if the job was then criminally infested. And we have over 50% of alike thinking guys in this blessed land – they will support BN until it dies a natural death, because in them, there is no other way there is peace except the power that be. This is the way these guys are cultured to accept what ever comes their way and they never accept any change because to them any change is bad. Their education taught them only one thing – what you don’t know are bad. These are the guys that will readily accept and pay as long as their problems are solved and without corruption, there is no life.

Yes, an UMNO-style god certainly did win you the GE13 with corrupt and illegal practices.

Until we find a way to transition the hegemony of UMNO in keeping the civil services, judiciary, military and law enforcement exclusively in the hands of those who feel indebted to UMNO, reforming the system to ensure fairness, justice, transparency and equality for all will be foiled by the same people who have a vested interest in keeping their misdeeds, corruption and cronyism out of sight. They are well aware there would a high price to pay once they are exposed to the rakyat. Let us not be naive to think that they would not resort to desperate acts to keep themselves in power AT ALL COSTS! We must be steadfast, cool, unwavering, yet non-violent, in exercising increasing pressure to shine the light of truth on the travesty of the GE13!

My observation lately….. soon we seniors will be passing the baton to the younger generation to continue the fight against this corrupted and evil UMNO/BN regime. As responsible citizens of the land we are not only encouraged but also, admired the “young ones” who took great interest in the nation political affairs. They understood what justice means …they have shown and aware, the next GE, they will be the ones who will decide the destiny of the nation. I hope those UMNO spoilt brats will throw away their crutches and become the “conscience” warriors of tomorrow!…marching along side your Malaysian brethren of all races with one goal in mind…building together a peaceful, clean and fair nation.

The people have to mount on the continuous pressure that is gaining momemtum, even if BN is too strong, we can at least weaken some of the tentacle institutions they have , by severing these tentacles , starting with the SPR, demand those responsible to packed up so that the institution can be revamped and accountable to parliament only ,
Then we have to free the judiciary from the clutches of BN, it will be 2 birds one stone, Polis may have political masters but with an impartial judiciary, a lot of their bite can be neutralized. It will tame down that institution fraught with power abuses and used as a tool for political purposes. They may be able to wield the big stick on the people but they cannot challenge the sanctity of our laws in the courts, even they will be forced to concede to the rule of law as per our constitution.
The rakyat don’t need the judiciary on either side, it is highly important that the judiciary is impartial , coz as long as the rakyat have the moral high ground and justice can be dispensed equally, punishing those who flaunt the laws off the land without fear nor favor of position or institution, then it will be a powerful deterrent for those at whatever level in society and goverment institutions to think twice about breaking the law.
And as it is now, only the rakyat with the momemtum of outrage and indignation can apply pressure for these changes..Afterall they are reasonable demands, whether the goverment falls or remains in power at least there is assurance a more level playing can be in place come PRU14.

The last thing anyone saw or experienced in the rallies was chaos. On the other hand what we saw was unity and harmony and love and peace and joy and this is what we so desire. All we want is a good clean government who will take care of its citizens and not just their families and cronies. We want action to be taken against blatant corruption. We want justice for those who died needlessly at the hands of this government. All we want is to wake up in the morning and feel safe in an increasingly lawless country. To not have to worry whether our children will come home safe. To be able to enjoy reading the morning newspapers and not read racist taunts, spun news and threats. ABU gives us hope. ALANG TONGKAH: Judging by your previous posts, it is perfectly obvious that you are either a rabid BN cybertrooper or a fervent UMNO supporter. To be charitable, I shall assume that you are just a fanatical supporter of this BN Government and, quite generously, shall assume that you possess the capacity to think, clearly, I mean!
It is clear even now that the NEP DOES NOT benefit all Malays, just the top few with links to the Umnoputras! Thus, only a very small portion of the remnants of the pie is shared by the larger majority of Bumiputras.
Now, look at what will happen when Filipino, Indonesian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi muslims are given immediate citizenship rights in Malaysial. Under the existing definition of a Malay in our Coinstituion, they too become Bumiputras! Like the Java Man (our brand new Home Minister), thje Mad Hatter (that Keralite pendatang) and many more like him who now hold office in UMNO.
Therefore, the very small portion of the existing pie will now have to be shared by even more people, not only the existing rural Malays but also these new Bumiputras. The UMNO big shots, of course, will still keep their share, keep on robbing us blind!
Think about it. And, again, I still assume you possess the capacity to think clearly. By being a blind supporter of BN, you are actually shooting yourself in the foot, and making it harder from the poorer Malays to get a portion of their pie! Is this REALLY what you want out of life? And your fellow Malays?

Looks like only leaders and heroes are being persecuted and arrested or detained or remanded in custody. That is a great opportunity for all to become and be seen to become leaders and heroes in Malaysia, so why not all follow suit and follow Haris’s or Adam Adli!s or Chegubard’s example at once to go and appropriately carpe diem!
That kill two birds with one stone tactic should get you some good notice and also put the confused police and the questionably illegitimate current UMNO/BN government on some bad notice.
So what’s it going to be I wonder? More agonising over pros and cons till the cows come home and most of Malaysia is blue in the face, or just carpe diem! and take the obviously cheating bull by the horns and give it a good shake eye to eye?
