It was only a matter of time when Isma and Negara-Ku took to the stage for some civilised discourse on this all-important issue of national unity.
Whilst this forum is in no way organised as a Isma – Negara-Ku debate, given that it presents a speaker each from either side, it will give us an opportunity to hear opposing views and, if there is a Q&A session, pose intelligent questions in the hope of receiving equally informed answers.
Hope to see you all there.

All of us are thieves having stolen the land from the original owners, the ORANG ASLI. So let us thieves argue about the ownership of the loot while the original owners rot away in the depth of the jungle.

With some Malay/Muslim ‘leaders’ and self serving career politicians building a successful career in politics and accumulated enormous power and wealth, abusing and explioting politics of race and religion at all cost, these people are no different.
Everyone is ‘ fair game ‘ to them in politics……..these are very sick people with no respect for the Non Political and innocent ordinary people of the Malaysian public.

rajraman666,
“…Some of them are Prof…”
With our superior education system, it is no surprise that we have so many professors in Malaysia 🙂

National unity should not be an issue….national unity is something as superior as religion. National unity consists of the Rakyat’s aspirations to live in peace and harmony….National unity is already existing. The Rakyat is one big melting pot….if we approach the idea of National unity with the share and share alike spirit we should have no problems thinking that we are all God’s children, inheriting this Earth equally, respected and with love for one another.
Bravo Negara-ku!!!!My country true to thee, sweet land of diversity…but not yet of liberty..

We are probably the only country in the world that still has to whip up the spirit of national unity. Unbelievable!
The fact that we have to have such forums well into the 21st century should tell you all – there can never be national unity in this country. Get used to it! 1 race perceives the current state of affairs as beneficial to them and that there will be too much to lose if so called “unity” was allowed. UMNO politicians fuel this perception and the Malay politicians from the opposition silently support this proposition. There is only 1 solution to this problem and you don’t need half baked academics and intellectuals at such infantile forums to tell you what it is – CHANGE THE MALAY MINDSET. The other races have no issue with national unity. The MALAYS are the problem.
So go figure!

Any movement that emphasize so much of demanding and so little of actually doing and creating, is basically wrong. Politics, like govt, don’t make anything, it merely allocates and exploits. So such things does not make enough to ever sustainable in the long run, merely damage serious and smarter people who focus on making and creating things.
