I was told yesterday that Ali Abd Jalil would be charged for sedition next Monday, 8th September.

I contacted him on Facebook this morning and he confirmed that he would be charged at 9am on Monday at the Selayang Sessions Court.
I asked him what was the statement he is alleged to have made that was to be the basis of the charge.
His answer left me speechless.
Both he and the lawyer representing him are clueless as to the words alleged to be seditious, other than that he had allegedly insulted the sultan in a posting published on Facebook in January!
If he wanted the full details, he was told by the police, he would have to get it from the skmm (suruhanjaya komunikasi multi media Malaysia).
Will you walk with Ali?
Will you be there at the Selayang Sessions court in solidarity with him?
If you will be there, and if you can spare a little money, he will need help with bail which, going by current trends, may be set at RM5000.00
If you do come to the court on Monday, do come up and say hi.
