Good luck folks. Ain’t going to make any difference – but I guess you will all at least be able to claim that you tried! Makes me wonder if all this is more about going down in history as activists championing the rights of the underclasses than actually getting something done. I think the Negaraku Committee really have to ask themselves what they are trying to achieve and if this is the best way to achieve it. Have you guys considered how far other similar efforts have gotten us? SABM, ABU etc? Until and unless we change the mindset of the rural Malay, UMNO will rule – you will never get the nation back from them. That is the lesson to be learnt from the last GE. All this hyperbole and slogans etc will remain discussion forums for the converted. But we owe you a debt of gratitude for trying …. in your own way.
