I believe that a very small fraction of the world population controls much of the world’s wealth.
In Malaysia, its no different.
The largest part of the population, the working class, are short changed, given so little of that which is produced in this oil and gas nation. Yet, they form very much the backbone of our economy.
Poor working conditions.
Insufficient minimum wage.
Little hope of their children breaking out of the inter-generational chain of poverty.
In truth, they have been the reason for my struggle for a fair and just nation that will treat all her children equally.
This Sunday, 1st May, 2016, I will join them in solidarity.
See you there.
