many-colours-one-dreamIMG-20180421-WA0051For a long time, many in civil society spoke of organising a Kongres Rakyat.

Where civil society leaders, and the citizenry in general, come together and present their thoughts and ideas on how this country should move forward.

Ideally, politicians would be on hand to hear first hand from their bosses, the rakyat.

Why has this never happened?

The reasons are simply too many to list here.

In about 3 1/2 days, the nation will go to the polls, in a general election that has been described as the mother of all elections this nation has witnessed thus far.

There is little doubt as to the outcome that every decent and informed citizen craves for.

A new, non-BN government.

As we work for, hope and pray for this change our nation so desperately needs, it would not be out of place if we, the rakyat, sent a message out to the non-BN candidates as to what we are expecting from them, should we succeed in removing robbers and thieves currently residing in Putrajaya.

And what they should expect from us if they fail to rise and deliver on promises made.

That opportunity is now at hand, thanks to the efforts of the Persatuan Patriot Kebangsaan.

Tomorrow, Sunday, 6th May, at 2pm, at MIECC (Mines)

Understandably, I do not expect the Pakatan Harapan leaders and candidates to be there. It being the weekend, they will be out campaigning.

You and I, though, must be there.

This is an important step in the right direction to  rehabilitate our nation.

See you all there.
