    Hi Haris,

I don’t know if my response to Rockybru’s announcement in Yahoo group beritamalaysia get past the moderation, or even if it does, I don’t know if my request to whoever attend the press conference request that the boycott the lying newspaper be extended to boycott of advertisers and that message be spread to all potential advertisers so they look for alternative media to advertise. Advertising revenue are their lifeline, not the RM1.20 we pay for the papers, plus many HAVE TO buy the papers. If I sense that the message will not be conveyed, I may turn up at BlogHouse myself, invited or not, to try to deliver the message. That is the most effectivve way to get the lying newspapers to sit up - cut off their lifeline, their advertising revenue.

  12. Kean Says:

Haris, Helen and the rest of the Committees, I’m sorry that I cannot attend due to work. I wish you guys all the best and I will always support your effort in this boycott.

Is the Backyard of PJ, SJ and other cities in Selangor on fire?
    ————–
While there are a lot to be done, should the Structural plan of each city be taken a careful look which is going to affect the next 13 years to come!!

For SJ: 28th January being the last date??
    http://www.sjecho.com.my/article.php?id=82
and SJ is still missing the 10% reserved land(58.3ha)!!
    1) SS16 into more Commercial - in fact, they are already under construction!!
    2) SS12 - the Subang Ria Park into Mixed Development
when it is a Town Park but in Private Title!!
    http://www.usj.com.my/bulletin/upload/showthread.php?t=21037&page=3&pp=15

The objection is prejudiced by not providing full access into the Structural Plans but hard copy at RM100 or CD at RM30 each!!
Why 58.3ha not being sorted out but “new” structural Plan and at least SS16 already under construction!

The objection is no more than a show as last “Objection” hearing for Subang Ria Park!!
    http://www.usj.com.my/bulletin/upload/showthread.php?t=17992&page=1&pp=15&highlight=ria+park

Anyone to help with a Mandamus Order??
for the Reserved Land (58.3ha) and Subang Ria Park - a Water Retention Ponds that cannot have any residential or Commercial Development!!
Wangsa Baiduri is already a Victim!

(Sorry if this should go under other topics of yours!!)

Sorry can’t be there, need to work and year end cannot take leave also.

How about we boycott those products and services that advertise in the MSM?

    practical?

    Hi Haris,

YOu have my support on this initiative. I had enough of lies from our mainstream papers, and sadly, as a malaysian, i have to go to bbc.com to get a more accurate picture of my own country. sigh.
