If you remember, by 16th February, 6 non-BN parties had endorsed The People’s Declaration. And all 6 were invited to attend the official launch at the Blog House this morning.
PSM and PASOK both could not make it, but called and asked that we publicly confirm that they fully endorsed The People’s Declaration.
DAP, MDP, PAS and PKR sent representatives for the event.
Dr. Siti Mariah of PAS, who will be standing in the Kota Raja parliamentary seat.
Ronnie Liu of DAP, who will be standing in the Pandamaran state seat.
Wee Choo Keong of MDP, who will be standing in the Wangsa Maju parliamentary seat.
Badrul Hisham of PKR, who will be standing against KJ in the Rembau parliamentary seat.
And then there was you, the Rakyat. The Bosses. The Yang Berhormat
I think all of you who were present will agree with me that we could not have asked our Barisan Rakyat for a stronger commitment to our Declaration than the one given to us today.
Tony tells me the whole event was audio taped and will soon be put up for you to listen and judge for yourselves. Also Malaysiakini TV and TV8 news team were on hand so look out for their video reports of the event.
Interestingly, on hand to witness this historic event were also two UMNO members and one from PPP!
To BN, let this photo represent the alliance between the Rakyat and Barisan Rakyat founded on an aspiration to restore good governance to our country and secure justice and equality for all.
People, our Barisan Rakyat have given us an unequivocal commitment to work for us upon the terms of our Declaration.
Let us now commit ourselves to giving our Barisan the mandate to start to set things right in the country.

How wonderful to see the previously quarrelsome political parties come together as one for the sake of the Rakyat.
How wonderful to see people of all colours and creeds come together as one for the sake of the nation.
This is what the people are entitled to. This is what the people deserve. And this is what the people have to take for themselves - that which has been denied to them for all these decades.
Glory to the power of the people.

Just saw the election manifesto of PAS . Looking forward to see from others .

Time now for the fight for survival. Would like to see the Barisan Rakyat poster all over Malaysia. If you need a volunteer for distributing the poster, count me in.

many of us (non-political ppl) working around the clock as informal campaigners to vote OUT BN .
Frenz , join the force ! We use all possible ways …. sms,email,talking to frenz/neighbors …..etc .
BN , your tear gas and chemical water might weakened our external but internally we grew stronger !
