“Our timeline is by the hour. Putrajaya is within reach” – Saifudin Nasution, as reported in the Star online today.
I am reliably informed that the ‘mother’ of all meetings is expected to take place some time today. Once that happens, this should trigger a series of events that should lead, God-Willing, to the culmination that all fair-minded anak-anak Bangsa Malaysia have been praying for.
Again, I can’t say more than this.
‘How imminent is the change?’, many of you have been asking.
Let me put it this way.
On 3rd August, notwithstanding the disapproval of most of you, I joined Sheih aka Kickdefella and Zorro in rendering our national flag in distress mode on this blog.
Like this.
And it continues to remain in distress mode in the sidebar of this blog.
From the information that I am receiving, I hope to be able to proudly and properly display our national flag in this blog before RPK’s birthday on 27th September.
God Willing.

But we can expect the new tomorrow to be filled with challenges. I hope that people do not expect a total change in 24 hours. After all, this rot we are in took 50 years to build.

Yup, you said it alright… I too am following closely with one of the sources that is in that meeting.
Am planning another trip back to the hotel where this is all happening in a day or two.
Cheers, God Bless and see you soon again. We are on our way and victory is upon us all.
Ardent readers, commentors (especially from abroad),
The time of reckoning is very, very NEAR and let us all pray that the change in administration is carried out without major issues.

RPK, I just want to wish you happy birthday. I pray that you will be able to celebrate your next birthday with you family and friends and under a new gorvernment. I haven’t got the chance yet but I know someday I will be able to shake your hand and take a picture with you. You have done and sacrificed so much for the people and country. You deserve so much more than those scums who are driving this country to the ground.

Yes, the BN govt may be able to put DSAI under ISA but can she put the rakyat under ISA?
The BN actual enemy is not DSAI but the rakyat who is fed up with them and are clamouring for change.
You cannot keep a good man down much less the rakyat. We, the rakyat, will rise and be master of of this land and ISA will be no match against our rising!!!
May God be on our side, mederka!!!

Dear Haris
Dear Moses,
You said : Whatever it is, I want that the country be on an even keel, people can find a decent living, there is a sense of and the act of fairplay and justice.
Response : I know what you want. What I do not know is what you will do, what you are prepared to give up in order to achieve what you want.
You said : It is hard to face all this whispering and wind-blowing news.
Response : Trust me, Zorro, I and many others know that it is hard.
You said : If necessary, just be done with it so that all of us can move on to facing the uncertainties due to the worldwide financial tsunami.
Response : Move on if you want. Some of us will stay the course, come what may.
You said : Some of us wish that status quo remains; some would like to have fresh air; others have rice bowls to fill.
Response : Whatever, lah
Regards
Yes, regards to you, too.

Dear Haris,
This is the Devine Intervention working in the last 48 hours !
Whilst the Powers-that-be are playing for time, frustrating & delaying DSAI’s & PR’s request for the meeting with PM, requesting the Emergency Parliament sitting, etc – we are now 6 days off target 916.
DSAI & PR have to outsmart the Powers-that-be & not be caught in the “Trap” with the threat thrown at him. So we should not pressure him into a “False” move.
Alot of Anak Bangsa Malaysia share your sentiments & are impatiently awaiting that elusive “Skychange”.
The “Hartal” action plan is on “standby” mode.
With the present Political deadlock turning “dangerous & ugly”, let us all stay cool & focus on the “Objective Target”….”to reduce BN’s majority”.
Already the BN’s self-destruct mechanism is in action – yes, Anarchy within BN & UMNO (Political Opportunists & wannabe “Party & PM Heroes” ) – the Powers-that-be are having a dose of their own medicine – yes, Multi-Derectional divertions from several fronts “Simultaneously” for PM to step down.
Devine Intervention will ensure the “Headache” will be on the Powers-that-be with this new development.
Our combined all faith prayers for DSAI & YM RPK including all the ISA detainees release in this auspicious month of Ramadan will be answered.
God Almighty is Benevolent & Merciful.
The “Titanic” will be “Crippled” in no time & “Skychange” can be achieved in due course.Insha’Allah.

Yo bro,
Yep … okay, it seems to be going to plan. Thank God AAB was stupid enough to dismiss the letter requesting for a meeting off-hand. Otherwise, we would have had to wit till tommorrow to get this other meeting going! I hear the meeting is scheduled for 4.30 p.m. News should be breaking by 5.00p.m. or 6 latest …
You know, I can’t remember ever being even half as excited as I have been in the last 2-3 weeks and more so now! Not even the prospect of sex for the first time got my adrenalin going at this rate! Come on Haris, you gotta admit – this has gotta be better than sex bro!!

I have to share this with you guys but I hope that it does not come across as being lewd.
I was in a meeting with a bunch of managers many years ago when one of the managers complained of being totally stressed with work. Our boss quiped in that “There is no such thing as stress as it is all in the mind, define stress”.
Quick as a flash, my offsider came with his definition – “Stress is that infinitesimal second before orgasm”. Needless to say, many of us wet our pants.
As an aside, my son shares his birthday with RPK so Happy Birthday to both of you onb the 27th. There are 4 Librans in our family, myself included. I knew us Librans were very balanced people. 🙂

The first time I read your blog, you were rather skeptical about PKR (particularly the rookie “camera-man” contesting). I was then (perhaps only half) as skeptical as you, and I heard you speak at the SubangJaya rally (yes, the one without nasilemak freebies, and have to give donation sommor …).
Now … you have become more confident … and I am equally thrilled …. hmmmm

I believe in you and if you say Pakatan is going to form the next federal govt soon, I say Yipee!!! It is long overdue and from what the Selangor and Penang Pakatan state governments have initiated so far, I’m so very confident that the Pakatan federal government coming soon will be that much more transparent, accountable and competent.

The sudden withdrawal of Sabah Progressive Party (Sapp) from Barisan Nasional last week as a “shocking revelation” came to light.
Its disgruntled ex-deputy president Raymond Tan claimed on Saturday that he had been instrumental in preventing the arrest of party president Yong Teck Lee in June in relation to allegations of corruption.
An English-language daily in Sabah quoted Tan as saying that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had wanted Yong arrested by the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA). This was after Yong spearheaded a no-confidence vote against Abdullah’s leadership.
In defending himself against claims of ingratitude by failing to support the Sapp pullout, Tan revealed that he had intervened on Yong’s behalf in June.
He said he had pleaded with Abdullah not to arrest Yong as it would be a bad move, and had even gone on television with a plea to allow the latter to speak up.
Wah like that also possible meh, SO what does this statement say to us? This revelation says our Prime Minister is interfering in police investigations as per regarding corrupt practises. But I thought the PM has been saying the BN led government never interferes in corruption cases. IS IT A LIE? So that means there is, blatant abuse of power by the PM and his cabinet. Don’t forget Anwar ibrahim was arrested and charged for abuse of power for the very same reason. So the allegation of selective prosecution by the executive has been proven beyond any doubt by this revelation. Will someone file charges, police report, citizens’ arrest etc. against the PM, for abuse of Power, by hindering the Police from exercising their constitutional duty. Will the home minister demand the resignation of the PM, or censure the PM among his peers or should the Home Minister also be charged now for lying to the public. WILL SOMEONE MAKE A POLICE REPORT AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT?
IN FIRST WORLD COUNTRIES SUCH PROOF HAS LED GOVERNMENTS TO BE FORCED OUT OF OFFICE AND RE-ELECTIONS CONDUCTED. Will this happen in Malaysia?, I don’t think so, We Malaysians are all aware the present BN government led and controlled by Umno is nothing more than a dictatorship, Democracy in name only, but a dictatorship by practise.
A very pertinent answer by the Home Minister let the cat out of the bag. When Hamid ALBAR was asked why ISA action was taken Sin Chew reporter and Teresa Kok, (both actions seen as a selective backlash) whilst No action was taken against AHMAD ISMAIL, who started the ball rolling, by uttering seditious statements, WHY no government action was taken against him? The reply by our home minister Hamid Albar astounded all the reporters, ‘ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN, UMNO HAS SUSPENDED HIM, ISN’T THAT ENOUGH’ or words to that affect.
What that means is Home Minister, Syed Hamid Albar has openly declared, albeit indirectly, THAT UMNO IS THE GOVERNMENT, AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UMNO, NOT BN.WHAT WE SAY GOES.
The pertinent Question that than arises, what about the other component parties, aren’t they partners in the governing of Malaysia as declared during elections and BN manifestos and slogans, don’t they have a say, or are they just rubber-stamps to UMNO POLICIES, POWERLESS and lame ducks?
What than does that say for MCA, MIC, PPP and ALL THE east-Malaysia parties?
This open declaration by the Home minister thus puts to rest once and for all the myth, BN is a coalition of many multi-ethnic Political parties. This is further than the truth.
IT IS NOT.
It is a coalition of a master in the form of UMNO, and servant or slaves in the form of all the coalition partners. Whichever way you put it look at it .In actual fact the reality of
“I command and you follow seems to be the reality”. Is this what Malaysians bargained for? I don’t think so. I think WE, RAKYAT MALAYSIA, have been lied to and misled by this lie called BN, especially UMNO long enough.

Just one thought: how about we have the “botak” day? If we can get all men (may be some women, if they want) to shave the head on a particular day. Barber provided. Let the whole town be bald. I think this will surely gain attention. RPK will surely felt proud.
Besides, we could have “RPK Look-A-Like” contest.
There is nothing wrong to come to Sg. Wang on a particular day to shave head to bald for free right? May be DBKL will fine you for littering… Hey, don’t mess with zohan!
Once the momentum had been built up, the message is sent as well. And then hartal will be easy.

Dear Haris,
It beggars belief that the PM can order the ACA to arrest Yong of SAPP just because he wanted to table a no confidence motion in Parliament. What it shows is how entwined the whole system is in systemic abuse of powers within the top level government and the police. It even reeks more of the slimy stuff that Tan can have the cheek to say he persuaded the PM to back off! I guess he is trying to show what a do-gooder he was in ‘saving’ Yong! My..oh..my..

I have signed all of your petitions but I just wish that I live closer to KL so that I can be more actively involved.

September 22, 2008
The month of September 2008 has been one of the most longest and dreary one for me. I wish it would pass by as fast as the other months did. My heart yearns for a change and it is so slow to come with all sorts of hindrances looming. Every moment is a dread because I anticipate a back lash from the ruling party and many innocent people have to pay a heavy price for their arrogance. Its been 39 years when I witness a dreadful killing right before my very eyes. A poor innocent neighbour, a 15yr old boy shot right through the head just because he ventured out of his house to retrieve something during curfew hours. That scene devastated those who witnessed it and though its an isolated case compared to the thousands that witnessed even worse scenarios, it ate into my heart and made me insecure. In 1998 I saw a glimmer of hope and turned out too good to be true. Its now 2008 and I really salute the Dude for being so patient and having to go through so much yet persevered and emerged victorious. Its just within grasp now “freedom” and I am just holding my breath with hands on keyboard and mouse hopping from one site to another looking for detail and clues that will bring good and timely news. Where else can I go…..I find solace and peace here YB Haris.
