From the very first post in this blog to this day, my political viewpoint has been the same.
If we are to transform this into a nation of a single, united people, and to finally start to see a just distribution of the nation’s wealth, to offer equal educational and economic opportunities to all our children, and, most importantly, to restore vital institutions of state back to their role as servants of the people, UMNO and BN had to be removed from Putrajaya.
My faith, though, in seeing this realised, has been with an awakening people working with the non-BN political parties who are truly pro-rakyat.
This, too, remains unchanged.
On 30th October, 2010, whilst attending to guests at an SABM dinner, lecture, I received an sms from RPK informing that that very night, in London, at the inaugural meeting of the Malaysian Civil Liberties Movement, I had been unanimously elected as president.
3 weeks later, I was in Manchester where, after much deliberation with RPK, I agreed to accept the position subject to our agreement on several issues.
I will only mention two here that I believe relevant to the difficult decision I have made today.
First, matters of policy and direction of MCLM were to be determined and made after mutual consultation and consensus between us.
Second, RPK would oversee the administrative affairs of MCLM, in his capacity as chairman, as well as look into all overseas matters. whilst I would drive our operations here at home.
In December, 2010, in London, RPK announced the launch of our Barisan Rakyat Independent Candidate Initiative.
In July, last year, MCLM announced the deployment of our first candidate, Dr Neduchelian, in the Kapar consitutuency.
In December, last year, after conferring with RPK, MCLM joined several other groups in issuing a warning to Najib that should he call snap elections without first carrying through the electoral reforms demanded by BERSIH 2.0, he should brace himself for street rallies that might culminate in his government being toppled. I wish to reiterate here that this was no idle threat.
Again, after conferring with RPK, MCLM had, last month, firmly aligned itself with the many NGOs and several political parties that hve given life to the Asalkan Bukan Umno / Anything But Umno (ABU) initiative.
Yesterday, the New Straits Times published an interview with RPK that was conducted in Singapore last week.
I had been informed by RPK whilst I was with him in Phuket over the Christmas holiday that this interview was to take place. I was not, however, fully appraised of all that was to be said in the course of the interview.
The matters spoken of by RPK have been quite wide-ranging.
I only propose to allude here to the two parts that have led me to the decision I have made today.
Under the heading “Rights group not a third force – RPK” that appeared in the NST and is reproduced in full on Malaysia Today, RPK is reported to have said that “MCLM had decided it would not field any candidates for the coming general election”.
I can confirm now that no such decision has been made after due consultation.
And under the heading “RPK – Anwar may become irrelevant”, also reproduced in full on Malaysia Today, RPK is reported to have said that “the Egypt-style people’s revolution was not an answer for Malaysia due to the delicate racial balance. “They (Chinese voters) don’t want Tahrir Square type of change”.”
These comments just referred to greatly undermine efforts I am making, albeit through MLCM, in the ABU initiative.
It also saddens me that even as initiatives like SABM and so many others continue daily to undo the ill-effects of UMNO /BN’s 40 over years of race-based, divide-and-rule, my friend should continue to see us as Malays, Chinese, Indians, dll.
I remain committed to all efforts to see this a nation of a single people, all equal.
And I am fully committed to the cause of ABU.
In the circumstances, I find it impossible to continue to serve MCLM as its president.
I have communicated my resignation to RPK by email.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the many who have come forward and volunteered their time and energy towards the cause of MCLM. We could not have made it this far without you.
I want to apologise to the funders in UK for this sudden decision of mine and pray that they will understand that my commitment to see change in our country, whether through elections or on the streets, remains unwavering.
To my friends in Sabah and Sarawak, my commitment to your pursuit of the promises of the 1963 agreement and to rid yourselves of the curse that UMNO and BN have become, remain on course.
I am fully committed to the reforms that we have, up to now, been pressing to see introduced by a new pro-rakyat government in Putrajaya.

Dear Haris,
This surely is a sad day for the future of Malaysia!!!
Its really sickening to hear that the “Right Course of Action” does almost never go very far in this country.
If any change is to come to our beloved country, those in the position to provide alternatives should stay united.
I do hope the your fight for a better Malaysia continues and prevails…irrespective of weather it is channeled through MCLM or otherwise.
I am quite certain that your followers would surely follow your cause by any other means that your deem fit and we look forward in anticipation to your next move and subsequent decisions.

Haris,
I read your statement here in full and do not understand your action to suddenly pull the plug. What is it in RPK’s published statements that you quoted above that is an issue? Tahrir Square (the 2nd point before you mention the word ‘I resign’) to me is a valid politically correct one. I myself do not see Tahrir Square – which up to today has not resolved Egypt’s political direction.
RPK is a voice of ‘calm’ in certain aspects because it is important in what he is saying. But most important of all, RPK is not saying any change in stance, just change in tactics, which you ought to know very well there is a fineline between freedom-fighter and terrorizing.
But anyway it is your freedom of choice. But i still do not see how some NST statement can be blown out of proportions. NST, is yes, a govt media arm but it is only fishing in the dark. But look who bites it? It is only us, and that is how they always win.
Just stay calm. There are no sharks but in our heads.

Dear Friend,
It is a very long road and an awfully lonely one, this road to freedom and justice.
Sometimes we do wrong unthinkingly but that is understandable as we are but human beings only attempting to do what is right. Other times we really do the right thing only to see that what is right can still sometimes go wrong. But in all these experiences, for better or for worse, we are doing something instead of nothing. And when whatever we do we do for the common good rather than for our own selves, then surely we are on the right track. Knowing you along this difficult road, you have done well and you meant well. That is all we can ask of one another. The journey continues, the road goes ever on and on… And when I look left or right, back or front, the sight of you spurs me along this rather long road. Thank you.

Dear Harris,
As a fellow Msian I believe that a united stand against oppression is vital. As the English saying goes RPK wants to “run with the hares and hunt with the hounds”. It is shocking and disgusting that RPK for all the good that could be achieved has decided that it his way or no way. Like his godfather Mahathir the despot, he will only be relevant if he upsets the applecart of the united front. A sad little man and a show-off who cannot wait for freedom from oppression before damaging the intended good that may come if we worked together. To RPK, I hope you get more than the usual “twenty pieces of silver” after taking into account the inflationary rate from Biblical times. God you are such a pathetic smug ass.

i agree with you wholeheartedly mr sivam. This RPK fellow has clearly fallen to the tempatation of tainted coins and to the rustle of unholy skirts. Here is a guy who could not take the heat and fled for his dear life with his family leaving his son to fend for himself. And he proudly claims that his son is deemed collateral damage. I do not know Anwar. I do not know if he screwd Saifool. But at least he remained back home to face his tyranical opponents like a Man… like a Leader. What audacity on the part of this little man whose principles seem to flip flop like a jilted housewife.

__________________________________
I have never believed in or trusted RPK.
From way back when he was Free Anwar campaign director, till the time he “turun padang” to campaign shoulder-to-shoulder with Pakatan Rakyat leaders during the 2008 elections, I have never been able to shake off the grave concerns and distrust I have had of him.
He is not only a big-time ego-maniac and haughty snob in many ways, but he had also in my opinion lied more than once in front of the media.
Example: On the night when he was released after his first arrest in April 2001, he spoke of how he was mistreated and tortured by the authorities till he “sobbed like a baby”. The next morning, it was a 180 degrees about-turn – He spoke of how macho he had been, and despite the mistreatment, they could not break him.
And recall his arrest in May 2008? His “hunger strike” in Sg Buloh jail which went to the extent of not even drinking water? For “reasons” like not “wanting to risk being poisoned like Anwar” to “not wanting to have the rakyat’s money spent for his prison food”. And his wife Marina going ballistic, saying he “might not last long” and “his kidney/liver (depending on which account you read) was damaged last time”? But after days “without water and food” in the hot jail cell… RPK walked into the courtroom for his hearing on his own two feet. Without water for so many days… I’d expect at least a wheelchair at least, if not stretchered in with IV drips and medical staff by his side lest he konks out anytime. And not any word of kidney or liver damage has ever surfaced.
This is the same RPK who, for all sorts of wonderful “reasons”, chose to give an interview to TV3 without the knowledge of or informing his close freinds and political associates. Even Haris Ibrahim, President of his MCLM, was shocked.
That TV3 then aired the interview on 14 April 2011, on the cusp of the Sarawak state polls on April 16, certainly proved to be mighty big-time political ammo for BN. Et tu, RPK?
So can I be faulted for not trusting RPK?
Is it any surprise that with Anwar’s Saiful sodomy case verdict due on 9 Jan, and Anwar’s multi-state ceramah campaign ahead of that date and the ever-louder rumblings about GE13, that RPK dropped the latest bombshell about Anwar not suitable for PM “because he is gay” and “90% certain that Anwar is the man in the video”?
(Incidentally, for all “his fair-mindedness and intellect”, according to yesterday’s reports about the Mingguan interview, RPK started off with “Anwar MAY be gay” but then went on about how Anwar cannot be PM because he IS gay. No proof, no court verdict yet, and mighty RPK strikes again with his “powerful” logic. Sheeeesh! Pardon me while I puke!)
I have nothing against RPK making statements about alleged Pakatan shortcomings and corruption, but his timing and wording certainly points hard towrds a certain thinly-veiled agenda
Lest we forget, he had also written about “Mahathir is my friend”… “Anwar is not my friend” in December. (Malaysian Digest published a copy of RPK’s Malaysia Today artcile on 15 Dec 2011.). That had already raised some eyebrows, but that article is at most controversial, not exactly a bombshell on its own. But in hindsight, it may now seem like a sign of the Jan 1, 2012 bombshell.
So is RPK an UMNO stooge? Who knows. But whether he is or not, I have never ever trusted him personally. Won’t touch him with the proverbial 10 foot pole.
And I’d urge Pakatan and RPK’s political associates to re-evaluate the man with rose-tinted glasses OFF this time. As the malay’s may put it, he may be a “musuh dalam selimut”.

Despite our earlier skirmishes Haris, I must congratulate you on your current principled stand. For me, RPK and you have BOTH resigned, but differently. RPK has resigned from being the patriot that we thought he is when he started MT, to become a pariah BN dog that he is today. Maybe he was a patriot then, but it is now crystal-clear that he no longer is. I don’t give a fark to those who disagree with me. To my mind, the Christmas outing in Phuket (with RPK and others) revealed an untold story. RPK must have made you an offer to join him as a pariah dog and asked you to think about it.
Your resignation today speaks volumes about your character. I have been following articles by and about both you and RPK and I could see an unmistakable diversion in RPK’s journey. RPK has taken the road to hell, while you have remained true to your cause. You are a good man, Haris and DAP needs good men like you to help run the country.
No matter how BN spins the picture, it is very clear that BN is doomed in the next GE. The people behind the policies that led to the near-victory for Pakatan in 2008 are still there. The same old racist and corrupted soldiers administrating the same old racist and corrupted government are still there.
This time, there won’t be a near-victory. It will be a FULL victory.
I am actually not sad, but happy for you, Haris. You have shown me the patriot that you are and you have my humble respect.

The problem in our country is – All the good guys who genuinely want to do good are not politically competent and the politically competent ones are usually first rate scumbags.
Before we can institute any change in any environment, we must first survive in the platform we have chosen for ourselves. The problem is, those who want to do genuine good are so emotional and political inept, that they either fall for the traps set by their oponents or simply loose their cool and their steam half way through the game. The end result – the politically savy sharks win the day, while the guy who meant well licks his wounds and limbs away beaten and bruised.
The moral of the story – IN THE POLITICAL ARENA BEING GOOD AIN’T WORTH A DIME, IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE SMARTS TO SURVIVE IN THE LONG HAUL.
Cheers, Happy New Year !!

Honestly what RPK did to you if literally insulting. RPK owes you an apology and should go on his knees to beg forgiveness. To do what he did without consulting you, simply just spit in your face. Its no different than what Najib and Razak baginda did to their families with Altantuya or what RPK claim Anwar did to his family with whomever.. For what RPK did to you, he loses his right to be listened to by everyone else…

For all those saying Haris should join the DAP or any political party for that matter, why?
WHY?
Why would you want such an outspoken, direct, conscionable man to be held back by party politics? Having to toe the party line would limit his capabilities!
Anyway its all down to him, he knows best, he knows what he wants to do. I would think if ever he were to join politics it would be on the platform that was once espoused by the MCLM, candidates which are aligned towards PR but not exactly forcibly dictated to by them. If any party would reject such a candidate we would come to know their true colours.
In any case I wonder what’s to become of the MCLM and the candidates that they had identified.
Today has been a very upsetting day.

It is quite a sad news! What RPK said was nothing wrong if his souce of information is reliable. When RPK critcises PR and Anwar, many said he was bought out. Doesn’t he has his right to criticise? Can’t he exposes the truth and misdeeds/scandals under PR???
All you want to hear is UMNO/BN scandals but not PR???
When BN takes back Selangor in next election then you will undertand what RPK said is right. This is not just RPK said about Selangor. Another blogger also said the same thing.
PR especially PKR should read the issues and problems in this blog.

I hate to be right but I did tell you so a long time ago. I stopped reading this man’s blog because I felt that his stand on many things keep wavering. The insincerity is much too obvious. He is narcissistic and not a team player. Well, he is no doubt charismatic and has the gift of the gab. So does many people including Najib! On the surface, looks like RPK has taken the bait. Must be a very big bait. Or big threat. Who knows. One day, all will be revealed when we stand before God. Or maybe he is baiting UMNO and will reveal a massive effort to bribe or blackmail him. Right now, I don’t know who to believe. In the end, RPK is answerable to God for all his actions.

Integrity must never be sacrificed.
Your decision, I believe, is an act of integrity.
In all clear conscience and righteousness you have to do what you are doing.
You did not wrong or harm in your stand.
RPK has made a strange move that is not becoming of his integrity.
It is noted that he and Anwar seem to have fallen out some time back, but that does not mean that he should say what he has just said which appears to read as a “compromise” with UMNO.
So ABU as ABU will certainly have no place with the current stand of RPK.
RPK will see many distancing from him because he seems to be working no more in the interest of justice, integrity and welfare of all Malaysians.
Remove the word “Anwar” from his writing/statements, it is not consistent with what RPK had always been shouting about.
I hope that RPK will not lose his senses and bearings after all that he has done and been through for Malaysians. “From a Hero to a Zero” would be too mild to put it if indeed he meant what he said.
He would have nowhere to stand if he betrayed anyone who had looked to him as the “voice in the wilderness”.
This “Once Upon A Time” hero may be biting the bullet, playing poker, making a sacrifice nobler than our perception and “calling the bluff” with “mind games”.
Let’s see what next.

Man of the Year
You wouldn’t want this Haris. Read on…
I’m not a politician. Neither am I a political scientist or analyst. I’m, like millions of others, just your average Malaysian who is interested in making good, have a good career, an income that will put food on the table for my family, have a decent house and car of my own, some money in the bank for rainy days and maybe go for a vacation once in a while. I’m sure my ideals are not reckless and, to my mind, what millions of other Malaysians would want too. I also know that for most Malaysians to do that, we’ll need to have a good government, one that is virtuous, clever, and always looking out for its people. And so, like others, wherever possible I’ll try to keep abreast of what’s happening in our country; what kind of civil administrators we have, which political parties; or politicians, seem to be doing a good job and so on. And I also compare our country with the rest of the world.
So, like others, I’d read what the masses read, watch government propaganda on TV, visit Internet forums that offer sensible articles; and some not-so-sensible articles. OK, some are down-right moronic articles. This gives me a “balanced” view of, like they say, what’s happening on the ground.
Like the recent articles written by RPK. All of his recent articles in Malaysia Today, including the MSM interviews, and the Phuket trip et al; those are not just senseless and moronic but complete nonsense. RPK has either lost his brains or he has lost his balls. Or both. Or maybe there is a “third” force yet. No, not the ghostly kind; not the “third” force that he conned Haris into. It’s the “M” force no doubt; but not the MCLM. I’m not saying it is. You can make your own conclusion.
RPK’s recent assault on Pakatan, especially on Anwar, smells of a rat – a REALLY BIG RAT. I have been following the people-proclaimed “Champion of the Rakyat” ever since he started his journey as the “unofficial spokesperson” for Pakatan and could see him changed from hero to what he is now; at least to me – ZERO. I already saw it coming when he quietly refrained from his previously frequent exposes of BN. Instead, he would write articles about nonsense. Or he would intentionally pick sensitive issues that have nothing to do with strengthening Pakatan and leave his readers to slug it out. Or he would write articles that make it appear like Pakatan is a sinking ship drifting aimlessly in the ocean.
For me, RPK’s opinions; much sought after as it were; is no longer relevant. He used to be my hero but not anymore. Knowing his style, I know he’ll probably say, “So what? You can fark off for all I care!” I would say that to him too. But I still think he deserves the “Man of the Year” award. It’s from the Malaysian Academy of Con-Artists.

For all that’s worth fighting for in this country of ours…is the rakyat..and the change we so long for…and after reading what RPK said ..I just wonder what he is talking about…if I ever see him in person…just one question I want to ask him….which is…who have the expertise to run this beloved country of ours…beside Anwar. He is after all the leader chosen to run the opposition. He is after all the only leader that is able and committed to gve a better life to the rakyat. We are not questioning whether he is gay or what…neither are we questioning whether he had sex with some dumb blonde in a hotel room…( If her wife can come out and say that is not him….is good enough for me). Honestly I m fed up with RPK commands..if anwar is irelevant …I believe RPK is the same…that’s all I have to say…

Haris, you are a principle man. You can still fight to remove BN without MCLM. Why not form another organisation to fight for your cause? You are right in saying that RPK still see us as Malays, chinese and indians and why can’t he sees us as Malaysians. He says in his own blog that the chinese cannot whack the malays but he is whacking the chinese like hell. Why can’t he sees the chinese as malaysians and malays as malaysians. If chinese and malays are malaysians, so why can’t the chinese whack malays. Since we are all malaysians, he should not sees us as chinese or indians or malays, but as malaysians whacking malaysians.
But I really admire you, Haris, when you said that you remain committed to seeing this nation as a single people, all equal, unlike UMNO who does not want to see all Malaysians as equal and also RPK who are caught up with UMNO’s kind of mentality of seeing us as chinese, malays and indians and not as a single people, Malaysians.

We must accept finite disappointment, but must never lose infinite hope…
True peace is not merely the absence of tension, it is the presence of justice…
We know through painful experience that freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor, It must be demanded by the oppressed – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
What is the purpose of our call for ABU ? To reduce Ketuanan UMNO/BN’s majority!
This should be our focus and objective and not be lured into these Diversions by the Ketuanan UMNO/BN Leaders, Mini Napoleons, Cronies, Machais, etc

Haris, bro….. Resigning was the right thing to do. Your honour and your dignity are intact. In fact, in my book, you have my respect more with your decision to leave MCLM. RPK has destroyed MCLM in one interview. MCLM is as irrelevant as MCA, where MCA, have an adulterer as its president. MCLM has a chairman has been tainted by the devil. Maybe it was for his son or a safe passage back to home or some cut of the commission from Najis…. I don’t know. But the only certain thing is to disassociate from being pulled into it. Sam,
The current MCLM exoffiscio members are only PROTEM (by invitation of RPK & you). No election has been carried out from the day of its inception. An inaugural meeting should have been held in December as planned. Members with voting rights can then offer themselves for any post and that should have been how we can continue from where we are now.
Why resign on the grounds you’ve given? Several members were not supportive of MCLM being turned into a political force. Some feel it should remain as a force that fights for CIVIL LIBERTIES.
Your struggles under SABM, ABU, DNBN, Peoples Parliament etc focuses on a different type of guerilla struggle, personally yours to do as you please. MCLM is not part of this. It belongs to its members. Return MCLM to its members and you can concentrate under the auspices of the hat you prefer to fight under.
Not by resigning and leaving us in all this mess.

Needless to say, I am still shell-shocked by the speed of events – and it’s only the second day of 2012! Last night reading the headlines at Malaysian Insider with RPK slagging off Anwar – and then today hearing you had quit as MCLM president. I haven’t had much personal contact with Pete, so I can’t say I understand what’s going on inside him. You stood by Pete after that unfortunate TV3 interview aired during the run-up to the Sarawak elections which prompted a huge amount of flak. But for Pete to collaborate with Utusan Malaysia and NST at this critical juncture makes no sense whatsoever – unless he’s tired of being out in the cold and just wants to retire from politics… and he’s pulling the plug out on himself just so he can sit back and watch everybody go apeshit. I don’t know what the fuck’s going on, Haris… but your resignation rings true and smells good. Thanks, bro. I salute your integrity, fortitude and stamina.

Wonder whether there is a recording of the interview…. so we can know the real question and answer response.
All these from a BN media write-up…. I do not trust it the way Borneo Post always saying half truths of whatever I say…. to ensure a line that I support BN when STAR is NOT part and parcel of BN … but I let it so without suing them as we now have Opposition voices in the State Assembly since 1996. Last State Election BN almost lost 2/3 majority even though PR was fighting SNAP… even manage to ensure PAS kept its deposit in NI.
Now we must not just talked ABU alone…. we must present a clear alternative to BN. We must have a common agenda… we must resolve the seats issue… we must strive for a common symbol if we want TO REALLY change especially in Sabah and Sarawak…. If there is a common cause we must have a common agenda….. infighting which is a BN strategy must STOP NOW. Negative comments are expected from BN supporters but we who want to replace BN must not read or see and believe everything BN media write or broadcast…

The New Year definitely started with a BANG!
First, news of Dato Sak and Pak Aspan joining DAP
That give us hope of A.B.U.
Then came RPK explosive interviews – AGAIN!
And now you quitting MCLM
Was the last bombshell!
You have always stood by RPK until today
And that has shaken up my faith in him.
Not only do I have to bear those sneers
“I told you so!” remarks about RPK
I’m lost not knowing what to think
To see my two TALL Malaysians splitting up!
I don’t think that RPK has sold his soul to the devil
But neither does he help our A.B.U. cause
with his latest interviews.
Lead the way, Haris, your actions and commitments
have inspired and awakened many of us
to your clarion call of

I was never fond of MCLM when it was first mooted. I was more in favour of procuring a basic two party system first. Now you make make that a reality with ABU. The Sabah incident shows that BN is most worried about you and your work. Please keep it up.

Mr Haris, please lead and show the direction to millions of disaffected ABU voters who are now equally disenfranchised with the mess the opposition is in and made worse by RPK’s public washing of dirty linen

It is with deep regreat and great disappointment that you, Malik Imtiaz Sarwar and Sreekant Pillai are dissociating yourself from MCLM. You are the 3 fortitude pillars of MCLM. Can’t 3 boot one out! But I do understand your stand and wish all of you the very best in your (our) struggles, A very successful , properous and just New Year to all of you

You had accused RPK of acting unilaterally without consulting you. Did you consult him before you resigned ? If you had not done so aren’t you behaving in the manner you
had accused him of ?
Very few can choose their own prison. RPK had chosen his. You are imprisoned by your own principles.
*** Note ***
I have never like RPK or his “methods”. Had never agreed with his “ends justifying the means” . I am merely pointing out the obvious.

Well, all that happened isn’t surprising, as my brief comments some time ago – a year perhaps? – here might indicate. You’re as straight as they come, Harris, and what you’ve done is proper and correct. From the comments above, you know you have a strong, loyal base. Take care and may you continue to fight the good fight.
p/s: Glad Angela Ooi has seen thru the mask.

Dear Haris,
As a man of conviction and principle, you did the right thing. Hope SABM will now gain from your departure.

Politics is the art of the impossible. The impossible sometimes needs the good to seem to do evil. Both you and RPK are doing the right thing. (albeit many can’t see the big picture). The momentum was slowing so you need to sacrifice a Bishop.. the price is still the King…….and ….it is not Check that we need — but a checkmate…..KUDO’s 🙂

A man of tao is moved by the tao
A man of principle hope to move the tao
A reasonable man tries to deceive the tao.
Principles are circumstantial. Many try to believe that there is a set of generic or universal principle – there is none. Principles are a good guide to living the good live and to create the best environment where harm is minimised. But principles can harm as well – often on the person of principle.
The value of principles are circumstantial and when circumstances change there is a need to see beyond the principles. It takes great peace, not the mundane kind of logic and reasons, but one of deep insight into life to tap into the intelligence of tao.

I would have done the same bro.
RPK is ignorant of consensus.!!! Or is he.??? What caused him to flip flop.???
RPKs article saying that PKR is worst than UMNO showed the UMNO in him, because its a lie. No party is worst than UMNO.
The obvious was waiting to happen.
Read my article..

I salute you for your tough decision, Haris. But I think most of us as the rakyat would like to know your opinion and assessment of PAKATAN and the individual leaders. Again, we will understand that it is your opinion but you are closer to the pulse of these politicians as compared to most of us. This will definitely help us to better understand who we are voting from through the eyes of political activist such as your good self. Thank you!
