Well, I wrote to the Bar Council last month to appraise them that on information I had received, you were the solicitor who put together PI Bala’s infamous second statutory declaration.
They haven’t?
Hmmm.
I read Americk’s press release late last month where he expressed great reservations that you could be implicated in getting his client to swear to falsehoods.
If Americk has been spot on, it seems a tad unkind on the part of Chee Wee and the rest of the Council to drag their feet in this matter and not avail to you the swiftest opportunity to clear yourself.
Tell you what.
If the BC is taking too long even for your own liking, I’ll offer you a way out to clear your name.

The silence from “them” is deafening and it looks like “their” strategy is simply to stay put and say nuffin for the time being as “they” look for a way out.
My guess is that “they” will stonewall until after GE13 – if “they” win, “they” will respond and retaliate. If “they” lose, “they” will cabut from the country.

What is there to sue ahhh? Deepak said the SD2 was prepared by Cecil Abraham during a press conference. Cecil should sue Deepak instead if it is not true. I don’t know why that Pas TV has to omit that part from their video.

I was initially very impressed with this lot holding the watch for the Bar Council…especially showing great heroism in Bersih 3.0 Once you removed their pants…there is nothing to show!! Personally, I suspect the Bar Council is being held back by legal constraints. I don’t claim to know what the legal issues are but it is probably something to do with hearsay or evidence or something weird and nebulous which only lawyers can answer.
Still, I feel the Bar Council should issue a press statement of some sort to allay the fears of the rakyat that the Bar Council is doing nothing or that it has been bought over.

As an outsider I tend to see things quite differently.
As long as Bala’s signature is appended on the 2nd SD, issues like it was prepared without the knowledge and consent of Bala or it was obtained with a gun pointed at his neck etc. (though may be criminal in nature) are of secondary importance and the onus lies with Bala to prove them so. Under these circumstances it appears to me that it is not technically wrong for the known/unknown senior lawyer not to identify himself and give any explanation.
It could also be that the 2nd SD is a wholesale scam with Bala’s signature on it forged. Deepak’s muttering of a lawyer’s name before the cameras may amount to nothing, if we keep in mind that he may well be a scoundrel of the highest order. Again it does not require the senior lawyer to proclaim his non-involvement. Why should he – to open his mouth once, only to allow an avalanche of further questions to follow up for him to answer? I think he is sensible and intelligent enough to foresee all these.
Wrapping up an SD and releasing it before the press in lightening speed – all within slightly more than 24 hrs (following the 1st SD) on a high voltage case like this could not have been possibly done without direction from key people involved in the saga.
Inche Haris must be having more solid evidence than what he has revealed this far. Otherwise he would not have drawn the sword from his sheath.

Funny, how some people resort to deceit and some people support it.
Ellesse 2 and me are not the same. Haris can confirm that 2 and me are not the same but he allows misconception and falsehood to prevail. Just like the censored civil servant write. Leave the lawyer alone. Since when a lawyer must disclose the nature of his work to public? If there is any misconduct let the Bar Council decide. Let’s be objective and protect a higher and more fundamental principle. Politics can be sensational. But politicians come and go. Rakyat is here to stay.
