Yesterday, at around 4pm, your petition to His Majesty the Yang DiPertuan Agong, bearing more than 25,700 signatures, was delivered into the hands of a palace official.
May God continue to bless His Majesty with compassion and wisdom and the strength to rule justly.

Brother,
A mere 25K signatures only ? My dear LORD, I’m rather disappointed with the figures but what can I say, there are still folks out there who are just “passengers”.
Nevertheless, I hope that this petition handed over to the palace official is submitted to our Majesty. We seek his divine intervention into the current turnoil the rakyat is having to face with the F%&(ED UP government, UMNO regime.
Haris, you reckon that the petition would actually get into the hands of our Agung ?
By the way, the PM & DPM just swapped portfolios and yeah rite, they’re saying it’s proof that the transition has begun…FU ! We ain’t monkeys or pigs that don’t know what you two suckers are up to… Wait, the time is near and you’re gonna shit in your pants real soon.

By GOD’S GRACE AND MERCY, Ms Tan, has been released. We pray the same will happen for our beloved HERO, with the RPK C4ME T shirt and Ms Teresa Kok soon. Our “wannabe macho man” says that we arrested her (Ms Tan) to protect her. Very funny, so does that mean all the prisoners in prisons are being protected??? Truly confused logic, perhaps average MALAYSIANS like us, unable to go overseas for our studies, do not have such deep thinking. Could it be because of this deep thinking we loss an island down south ??? More…http://margeemar.blogspot.com

My earlier posting at other sites :
Comrades,
We can come to a thousand assumptions and scenarios but it actually only boils down to 2 main ones, based on reliable information but then again the only person who can confirm this is our Flip Flop PM, the Sleepy One as named by the Red Indian warriors :
1. He is killing 3 birds with one stone (A. Cooling down the grassroots that are urging Najib to wrest power from him during Dec UMNO elections. B. Making Najib feel comfortable that the transition has started and that he is the annointed one. C. Getting ready to declare state of emergency when Datuk Seri Anwar makes his move to meet DYMM and detain him under ISA for threatening peace and stability of the county) – By the way, he already gave a hint during his PC earlier !!
2. He is doing Datuk Seri/ PR a favour by moving Najib out of the Defense portfolio so that the latter will not have the power to apply any emergency rule in the event that Datuk Seri meets DYMM. Secondly, he may also laying a trap for Najib as the economy is at the lowest now and if it can’t be improved, he’d say that Najib was a failure. There wold also be a twist in the ongoing Altantuya murder case, check it out yourself and follow up the last few court sessions. You’ll know what I’m talking about…
Whatever it is, do not pick the wrong solution as there will be a rise of all ANAK ANAK BANGSA MALAYSIA and we will cause havoc for the wicked UMNO/ BN regime.
All MT readers/ commentors, are you game on for this ? For our beloved country, our future generation, our beloved Pete, Teresa and all under ISA ??
I AM.. !!!

Badawi the new Defence minister! Now, that is worrying.
Is it to give any armed intervention some amount of legitimacy or credibility so that you cannot accuse “personal interest” if Najib were to still remain Defence minister?
And now the PM has used those dreaded words on Anwar already. That he is undermining National Security and the economy. Oh yeah, what Anwar is doing has caused Wall Street to drop 500 points in one day!!!1

There are still a lot of people out there who follow the development but will do nothing. I told my friend, whom I have talked about the political scenario with since pre GE 2008, about this petition. His response was, “do you think the king will care about this?” I was speechless.

Well SAPP has pulled out of the BN. They are now down to 137 seats. Abdullah has been fired from Finance Ministry. Najib is taking over. Najib is also Dep Chairman of Khazanah. This is a serious blow for The Family.
It is possible that Nor Mohd Yakcop, Fin Min 2 may also resign soon, because Najib is not comfortable with him at all. Najib will also remove plenty of files from Nor Mohd Yakcop – effectively shutting out NMY from his role.
Yesterday Zaid Ibrahim resigned over the ISA arrests. Another big blow for Badawi and the BN. This is like the Death by a 1000 Cuts for Badawi, BN and their Ministers. They are dying slowly BUT SURELY.

The change in fortfolio may be a gimmick to suppress Najib’s desire to go for the jugular. It may be to assuage Najib that everything is hunky-dory with the transistion plan.
Unless of course, Pak Lah thinks Najib has corrupted the army guys with his unIslamic swearing. Pak Lah might have decided to instill some Islam Hadhari in the army for advising the government to quieten the unrest in the political scene.
Whatever the raison d’etre, the BN’s misrule is about to end. The miserable end is near.

Well, actually each signature generally speaking, represents at least 2 people.
You can safely estimate that each signature represents an average of 4 people; because those people employed in gomen and gomen-linked services usually opt not to partake in-case of leaks to gomen special branch.
Therefore, the 25000 figure actually repesents 100,000 people!

Kita bicara dari hati ke hati.
Kita tidak punya banyak masa untuk bicara,
Musuh kita mengatur langkah penuh dusta,
Andai kita lewat untuk terus mara,
Mereka bakar sentimen agama dan musnahkan kita
Anwar,
Sedang semangat rakyat masih membara
Jangan dipelawa musuh untuk berbicara
Anwar,
Andai dalam Ramadhan kita tidak bertindak
Syawal tiba, mereka masih tidak berganjak
Maka rakyat akan bertempiaran lagi
Menjerit reformasi yang entah keberapa kali
Dan berdendanglah semangat dijalanan
Seperti hikayat yang tak pupus dek zaman
“Walau air berasid disembur kepada kami
Seperti halalintar ganas menggegar bumi
Kami tetap berpaksi kepada niat suci murni
Menegakkan kebenaran tanpa gentar di nurani.”

🙂 SYABAS! AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO HARIS!! 🙂
And BRAVO! to the Rakyat’s Constitutional Guardian, DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong for accepting the petition from the Rakyat!
25,700 fearless figter-signatories are enough. For a national population of around 27m, that is approximately 1 fearless fighter for every 1,051 fearful people.
And AHA!!
The secret surely is to LOSE YOUR FEAR of bad laws and bad people (even crazy ones like 😦 our man SHA) and their cheap, cowardly fear tactics applied by using bad and unprofessional elements in the security forces to unjustly intimidate and frighten members of the rakyat into scared submission and undemocratic subservience.
So, if YOU are prepared to be defiantly and civilly disobedient FIRST, and can overcome your natural human fear of cheap intimidation tactics from cowards and you do not fear being arrested, or even assaulted by even cheaper cowards, like that axed ex-IGP Rahim Noor, then as in SPARTACUS 🙂 YOU WILL INSPIRE OTHERS TO STAND UP WITH YOU!

Haris,
Thanks for all the effort you and the others involved in this have put in to organize the petition. My thanks too to all the brave souls who made the decision to stand up and be counted. Yes, I am one of those who signed.
I am still uncertain about whether the Agong will intervene. But I also pray that even if the petition does not have a visible effect at this point in time, it will matter in the end if and when the Agong adds his voice and power to accumulated forces of the people’s desire for justice to be done.
As it is, I believe the petition has already some good by forcing some Malaysians to confront where they stand on the judicial independence issue and how far they are willing to go to put themselves at risk of repercussion to stand up for what they believe to be right.
Even though it’s 25k+ signatures, I take it as a victory because everyone who signed that petition were willing to stand up and be counted. Sometimes all it takes is just one person to change the course of history for the better. Imagine what we can do with 25k+ people! It also brings to mind a Malay saying, “Sedikit demi sedikit, lama-lama jadi bukit” (little by little eventually becomes a hill).
But I’m hoping we don’t have to wait that long! 🙂
