If we’re going to have any chance of a clean and fair general elections, we have to try and stop the dissemination of falsehood to the voters by dishonest, lying news media.
Can we do it?
Don’t know, but I know we must try.

You must do more to promote this campaign. More M’sians must take part in this boycott. I myself stopped buying newspapers from 1999 but started again in 2004. I will stop paying RM1.20 per day to read the bunch of lies published daily. Imagine you actually pay money to read rubbish daily. The money I save, will go towards subscribing to Astro’s news channel.
Keep up the good work and you must promote this campaign.
More Malaysians must stop buying these newspapers and teach them to report the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

As I have commented elsewhere, I must highlight this again. You will need the support of news vendors for this boycott. Their livelihood will be affected by this very action. We need to devise an alternative solution to aleviate the hardship they may have to face while taking action on this. How about listing out the papers we want to boycott and gave out a list of those we want to support? That means, while we hit at those papers that print lies, we encourage those which tell the truth.

Banyak,surat khabar yang telah menipu kita dalam sesuatu media sangat teruk.Tetapi,hak kita harus menjadi kenyataan yang bebas dan berkemahuan yang benar dengan keadilan harus kena wujud di muka bumi ini tak patut melakukan terhadap rakyat secara tidak rasional sepatutnya kalau negara ini adalah Demokrasi dan patriotik mana bolehkah tahan orang begitu sahaja.Mesti hentikan diskriminasi ini dengan serta-mertanya.Keluaran,akhbar mesti dibebaskan bersuara kalau ingin menjadikan pendapat yang luas dan kukuh sebenarnya.Saya,tidak mahu beli Surat Khabar Star,Utusan dan lain-lain telah dikawal tanpa kebebasan bersuara sahaja.Hentikan,sentimen pemahaman yang berlaku pada kita semua ini.BN/Umno kawal tidak saksama langsung sebenarnya.

Why is our PR buletin selling like a “bullet-in” ? They are ridiculously over price. Instead of having need to get the copy from the runners as well as having to access to so many blogspots just to get updated on REAL HAPPENING in our country, can pay for a monthly or yearly subscription to get these news right into our doorstep thro’ email ? In fact, how frequent do we bump into these runners ? This would create fixed income and promote paperless environment.

And that could not be more true at this point. Having said that, let me reveal to you what exactly did work. The authoring can be really convincing and this is most likely why I am making an effort to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that.
